Where are Africa's greatest minds in science? I mean our own equivalents of Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein.

Discovers, Inventors, Astronomers, Premier Physicists, Theorists and Originators.

Why hasn't there been a Nobel Prize winning scientist on the Black side of Africa?

Are we saying that we have no such geniuses?

Why do we tend to lean towards seemingly "se..xier" and right brained paths to glory: i.e. arts, movies, business?

Is this a root problem for Africans? A natural aversion to challenging the status quo and generally unscientific minds?

As my friend Thoth said, Black Africans are extremely thoughtful and curious people. The Binary number system used today in computer systems was derived from Ancient African mathematics. Don't let Europeans fool you. Be proud to be African and stop having inferiority complex @OP.

In the past Africans have mastered maths and sciences for 1000s of years. The greeks used to sstuy from Ancient Egypt, Mali and the moors. Even during colonialism and slavery Africans were teaching Europeans. One of the largest man made structures is in Nigeria called the Sungbo Eredo made by Nigerians. We did plenty of things with science but alot of the history or taken from us. Africans civilized the world!! Here are videos to learn. The article mentioned only a 'few' africans are present at these meetings but the fact that any african would be present at such a meeting is beyond baffling to me. How do you trust a foundation linked to mass sterilization with something as integral to survival as food? What possibly could be gained that couldn't easily be taken back with such a control on your food supply?
