That's one of the dangers of the so called gender equality preached by the western world.. We are Africans n we have a different culture.. Just take a look at d increasing number of divorce in our society today.. I will rather have a baby mama instead of buying problems with my money

Right thing to do if you can't tolerate them.

Mr man, submission does not mean the woman should prostrate before her husband every morning and evening! Every ship has a captain. Every team must have a team leader, and in marriage, that is the man. A good team leader must cultivate sound judgement on how to handle issues and must provide for the welfare of the team members.

Why is it that in football, when a team has a lot of players tackling and causing chaos, the referee calls aside the team captain to address the matter? Why was Sergio Ramos presented with the champions league trophy even when he is not the most skilled player in Real Madrid? It is because he was the team captain. When Mo Salah needed to be taken out of the equation, he stepped up and did the job.

Any team without a leader will end up in total anarchy! So husbands and wives, know your roles at home and play them!

The rightful and deserving head of the home could be the wife. Some wives have all the leadership qualities lacking in the man. It should never be based on Gender! I am a man ooo.

They are my children and they make me happy and add to my joy. Many others are not so lucky.

First, this post is about God and children as His blessings. So if you don't believe in God why are you here.

Second, I see you have conveniently sidestepped my points only to keep reiterating that Children are not a blessing.

Well since children according to you are a curse, I pray and hope that you'll have no child of your own.

Don't worry, since you're an atheist I have said amen on your behalf.

Enjoy. smiley

Too late, I have 3 already. 1st an engineer (Msc level, Nottingham) , 2nd final Bsc. Chemistry (Bristol), 3rd Nursery 1 Corona Lagos.

Say Amen for yourself

There's nothing like overpopulation. Don't be misled by God-haters who seek to destroy humanity (read Freemasons)

There's only mismanagement of resources.

Human beings need to procreate more otherwise we'll be in danger of extinction.

Nigeria is underpopulated and grossly mismanaged.

The problem isn't population explosion (that's bullcrap) the problem is lack of love and will to do the right thing.

Stop mixing both issues.

Increase in population and proper management of wealth and resources will lead Nigeria to join the adult table with its peers.

Firstly, you believe in God, I do not! (Neither of us know the truth so dont respond with any sanctimonious sermons)

That children are a blessing is totally false, it is just a mindset.

Undoubtedly children makes a lot of people happy and fulfilled - usually in the early years of their lives.

If you do not have to means to cater for them, they could be anything but....

You got it all wrong.

When two people get married they are BLESSED with children by God. Not every couple is privileged.

So children are blessings from God the Almighty Creator to couples.

Wherever there are children, there's hope of continuity.

Even if their parents are poverty stricken, the children are a blessing and a source of hope for the poor.

Our great grandparents were poor farmers. Yet look at us now, clutching mobile phones, driving expensive SUVs all over the place.

It is selfish not to procreate. It shows you think only about yourself.

Pure madness .......these are the kind of misleading statements leading us to the overpopulated melee we are enduring.

Nonsense....did we produce those mobile phones and SUVs?

I have two Igbo tenants in thesame compound where I stay and they've both been here for four years, peacefully. Even When the pumping machine got spoilt, I told them we'd split the bill for repairs but one of them insisted on taking care of it alone.

Any time wey them travel sef, them dey always buy enough things come for me.

Business / Re: 6 Ways You Can Escape Poverty If You Are A Man by IgboBasthard: 7:54am On May 26, 2018
ariesbull:
1. Get the right woman – Forget the slay queens and women with looks but zero brains. Get a woman who will not only support your vision but will also push you to achieve more. A woman who will inspire you to work hard and not a woman who just makes you hard. He who finds a real woman finds a good thing and obtains favour and power to create wealth.

2. Stop Taking Cheap Drinks – I have no problem with having drinks during social interaction and networking. However, when you drink cheap drinks or drink in cheap places, you hang out with cheap people who have cheap ideas and a cheap future. Big business opportunities are found in places where the drinks are expensive. In fact, in places where they sell cheap drinks, the only people you will find there are people who will be asking you for money. They even clap when you come knowing ‘big buyer’ has come.

3. Stop being Lazy – “Man ooh Man, why art thou Lazy?” You are too lazy for your own good. You sleep the whole day and blame the government for your poverty. “A Little Sleep, a Little Slumber, poverty shall overtake you like a political cadre in overalls”. A lot of men are just lazy when it comes to making money. They have enough energy to give a woman five orgasms, but have no energy to start one organization, that’s why it is so easy for men to manufacture children than it is to make even pegs for putting children’s clothes on the line..

Under whatever guise, the Landlord has no right to break into any one's apartment. This is most unfair. You cannot take the law into your hands and expect the law to be on your side. The landlord is in deep trouble if a good lawyer is hired shocked shocked shocked

Na lie, can she even afford a good lawyer? How many of these defaulting stubborn tenants can hire a good lawyer?
The landlord too will equally get a good lawyer. The moment she claimed she had 170k in the shop I knew she is a big liar.

We are just deceiving ourselves by saying we are one Nigeria. Tribalism is not helping this nation. The day we realise that bad people are found in every tribe, that will be the beginning of a new Nigeria. Let me give you an example. I have a 3bedroom flat which I gave a Yoruba friend who act as my agent to rent out. One day I visited a bar to enjoy my usual catfish pepper soup and I over heard some men discussing the attitude of the agent. According to them he refused to rent the house to any igbo person except a Yoruba person. No concrete reason was given except hatred. I listened to all their discussion and I confronted him to convince me why an igbo man cannot rent my house.....nothing concrete except hatred. So I got angry and decided to handle the matter myself . I went ahead to rent the house to an igbo man and he had lived their now for 6years without any issues. The point I am making is that no tribe is better than the other....and we 've bad people in every tribe. As far as shop renting and business is concern igbo people remains the best . That is why the survive in their businesses. Must shop rented by y orubas they cannot continue payment after one year. I have evidence of all the shops around me they 've left after just a year. They feel comfortable increasing it as they like when other tribes are occupying it. To narrow it down to the subject matter, the landlord has no right to break into your shop. There are due processes that must be followed to finally quit a tenant irrespective of his tribe. Ignorance of the law is not a defense. The woman has every right to claim anything inasmuch as she has evidence that her shop was broken. Now that she has reported the matter to the police, they should get that landlord arrested immediately .she should get a good lawyer . That man must learn a hard lesson .

Police arrest who? I have decided that me and my boys are going to rough handle and bundle out any nonsense IGBO tenant who mess with me. I am done with due process with IGBO tenants. The people have very bad reputation.

U cash on the Lagos states loopsided tenancy rule. I know tenant who remain in properties 1 year after, even when they are supposed to evacuate. They keep claiming they have no money yet etc. You must be Igbo, go to court everyday and see the number of Igbos humiliating Landlords, who went through sweat and blood to acquire properties.

If ur properties and monies where really moved, which is hard to believe, then my condolences. You should have used that amount to rent a property instead of holding on to someones house.

Bros, as a landlord in Lagos, I find myself dealing with this horrible people all the time. I have warmed my agent to keep my houses and shops empty rather than put an igbo there. I havw been in the business for 10 years and have rented to all the ethnic groups in Nigeria. The igbos are just terrible. ....terrible people both male and female. I should be on my way to retirement now but I have to stay in work just so I can afford to keep my properties empty if need be. Igbo tenants are bad news and you must be ready to break the law and rough handle them.

Madam

You sure you have evidence to prove 170k was inside your shop? Where did that money come from? Did you withdraw it from a bank or ATM? The judge will ask you this questions in court.
If you are igbo, I will NEVER support you laye laye cause your people are experts in cheating landlords in Lagos. You commit unimaginable atrocities with somebody else's property. Show us your last receipt? A landlord will never dare to treat you the way you described if you are a paying tenant and your payment is up to date. Landlords respect tenants who respect themselves

I don't trust your story, sorry.
