On March 11, 2023, turn out in large numbers to vote for Beatrice Itubo, the gubernatorial candidate of River State LP. River State youths and women take advantage of the opportunity.
Draslo: Why is it so easy to cross many bridges to go home to celebrate Christmas and New Year every year but difficult to do the same to go and vote there just once in 4 years?
It's caused by voter aparty cum lack of belief in our electoral system. Example, a lot believes that their votes will not count, hence no need to undergo the stress of traveling to go and vote.
Last, but, not the least, the fear of being a victim of electoral violence, particularly those whose polling units are situated in a violent prone areas.

The Prince of the Senate, a few days ago also intervened in cushioning the hardship caused by high cost of petrol by ordering the sale of PMS at 200 Naira per litre in all his fuel stations and affiliate outlets.

Nice one the peoples' Senator, but, I'm afraid that the Obi's effect may affect your chances of been re-elected.
Abel7777: The Ebonyi state People's Democratic Party governorship candidate, Dr. Ifeanyi Odii, has refuted claims by Governor Dave Umahi that Ebonyi state would vote APC's Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in tomorrow's presidential polls. He noted that the statement was both reckless and a reflection of the delusions the governor suffers.
Odii noted that Ebonyi state is a PDP stronghold and that nothing will change that. His words: "Umahi insulted the collective sensibility of our people when he said our dear state would vote Tinubu in tomorrow's elections. That's pure fantasy. Our state is by its history and voting records a PDP stronghold. Everyone in the state read that statement with shock and wondered how far gone this governor is. We are not going to vote Tinubu as many people have already made up their minds who to vote for."
He said the PDP have already mobilised for the presidential candidate of the party, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, stressing that only the governor and his "micro" crowd will vote differently.
He added, "unless he is suffering from willful ignorance, Umahi should have seen that he has lost the state with his APC posturings. Our people are angry with his militia group, Ebubeagu. He used it to torture our people and now all the people want to do is vote him and his murderous gang out of office. They are doing that to deliver themselves from oppression and intimidation. We wonder why he thinks the people of Ebonyi will vote a party that has been discredited widely. Why should we vote in a Tinubu that is the butt of many jokes and comedies? Are we comedians? We are a much more serious people for that. Many signs exist that our people have rejected Umahi. When the Ebubeagu militia was disbanded by the courts, you needed to have seen the happiness and relief. That's the same relief our people seek as they vote out Umahi and his wicked party, APC."
Ebonyi is neither voting Atiku, but, for Obi. LP.will record a landslide victory in Ebonyi presidential election results.
franchasofficia: Do not ever make the mistake of marrying for romantic love, love is a fallacy, its a tool used to manipulate weak minds.
If you want to marry without regrets, marry based on the qualities and things that will ensure the growth or expansion of your financial wealth, sustainability of your success and lineage. Marry like the Royal families.
Before you pick any lady to marry, consider her:
personality; is she respectful?
Is she reliable ?
Does she enjoy working and earning?
Does she have a career prospect?
Does she have clear plans to grow on her own with little help from you?
If something happens to you and renders you incapacitated, can she sustain your family success without resorting to begging and turning miserable?
Does she have luck on her side? If she is not lucky, its a risk marrying her cos her ill luck will mar your life unless your destiny is too bright to outshine her ill luck.
Who are her immediate family members ? Are they leeches or people you can run to for help if need be?
Watch her utterances about life and money management.
Is she a money maker or a money spender?
What's her belief? Does it align with yours?
Will her profession, career, business, handwork or craft help you grow or mar/distort your own growth?
Don't marry for sex, sex is overrated, you will bet tired of sex in marriage even if your wife fine pass mami iwota, especially as a man, so forget about romantic vibes or sex vibes.
Love is not enough to marry anybody, it will expire when financial lack sets in.
Paschal2806: Trending News: *Mr Peter Obi Storms Onitsha Main Market with Dr Tony Nwoye.*
*… Urges Traders to Vote All Labour Candidates from Senate to Reps in Anambra State.*
*…Thanks them for their support and prayer for a New Nigeria.*
Onitsha- Mr Peter Gregory Obi, the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, continued his tour of Market tours on Thursday at ONITSHA Main Market canvassing for votes ahead of this Saturday’s Presidential Election. He visited the popular Onitsha Main Market, home of the biggest Market in West Africa of more than a N5 billion daily transaction market—a market that sells everything.
In videos that have gone viral on social media, especially Twitter, the former Anambra State Governor in company of Dr Tony Nwoye, The Labour Party Senatorial Candidate for Anambra North could be seen waving to onlookers, traders, and passersby from the roof of their car. Their visit attracted thousands of people who wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to see the incoming President and The incoming Senator of Anambra North Senatorial District, who will be working hand in hand with Mr Peter Obi in Abuja. Many also wanted to use the opportunity to see the men they had heard of or seen on the screen of their television set in recent time.
“OBI!, OBI!” rang out as his motorcade drove slowly through the crowded market. A shout that could be heard five kilometres away. The excited Obi and Dr Tony Nwoye was so overjoyed by the resounding and overwhelming show of love that all they could do was smile and wave back at the crowd.
The love was overwhelming as traders and onlookers in their thousands trouped out to get a glimpse of the Former Anambra State governor and Former House of Representatives Member, Dr Tony Nwoye. Trading activities were put on hold as traders rushed out to take pictures and get a feel of the winning team.
Obi also used the opportunity to address the Traders, men and women of goodwill. He urged them to Vote for Him and His Vice, Dr Tony Nwoye for Senate Anambra North and Hon Idu Emeka for House of Representative. He maintained these men were carefully selected to help him build a new Nigeria of our dreams. He urged them to Vote Labour Party all the way. He thanked Nigerians for their Support, prayer and love. He promised not to let them down with his Team.
aninibinladen: Ahead of Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections, the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union and the Southern Kaduna Leadership Council have unanimously asked the people in the region to vote for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alh. Atiku Abubakar or the candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday in Kaduna, SOKAPU president, Mr Dio Maisamari and the chairman of Southern Kaduna Leadership Council, Mr Dary Akau, said Saturday’s election is fundamental to the people of the region especially as in the past eight years their people have suffered untold deprivations and dehumanisation from the exclusiveness and discriminatory practices of the present party and government in power.
“From the foregoing, the decision of Southern Kaduna people on the choice of Presidential Candidate to support in the 2023 general election should be guided by our historical experiences over the past twenty-five years,” he said.
They explained that SOKAPU in collaboration with the Southern Kaduna Leadership Council have examined the situation on the ground and come to the conclusion that the presidential candidates that have shown enough concern over their problems and concerns are those who visited Southern Kaduna and discussed with their people.
“To this extent, the presidential candidates of the Peoples’ Democratic Party and Labour Party came and discussed with our people and leaders, and were given the Southern Kaduna Charter for Socio-Political Engagement. Therefore, the choice for the Southern Kaduna people is between the PDP and LP.
In considering where to go, and which party to support, we take into consideration the fact that we have benefited more where we have been included in governance and decision making, adding politically and economically, the Southern Kaduna people have benefited more from the PDP than any other party in the history of Nigeria.
“Nevertheless, given the strength of the emotions arising from the oppression our people have suffered over the past eight years, there is the tendency to align with the Labour Party, noting as leaders of Southern Kaduna, we take cognizance of the sentiments and emotions of our people over the suffering they have gone through.
“We have examined the balance of forces on the ground in terms of structures, spread, capacity of the party and candidates to win the presidential election, hold and use the power to include the Southern Kaduna people in government.
“As leaders of Southern Kaduna are advising our people to vote for the party that has shown us inclusiveness, and the party that has the inclination, desire and potential to concretely address our cares and concerns.
SOKAPU and SKLC, therefore, advise the people of Southern Kaduna to support and vote for the presidential candidate that has shown commitment and willingness to be inclusive and address their interests. Therefore, we are calling on our people to come out massively and vote in the presidential election,” the duo declared.
It's obvious that Obaseki is confused, by speaking from both sides of his mouth. He said someone is good and he is also saying that he does not have the experience. Can he confidently tell us that other candidates are good too?
It's quite clear that they don't have anything against Obi.
Congratulations in advance Obi, for being the only presidential candidate with a clean slate.
FreeStuffsNG: The Supreme Court Judgement on ex parte motion stands. Old naira remains a legal tender.
Folks can now start suing Mr Emefiele in his personal capacity, the CBN, any bank or institution that rejects it and ask for their commital to prison or pay compensation to them.
The order expires today and has not been extended by the Supreme Court.
Ebubu2: disband something erected by the state house of assembly and passed into law? is that the right approach?
court for don disband SARS na
The power to establish a security outfit, rest solely on the Federal Government, through an Act of the national assembly. Ebubeagu security outfit, is akin to a state police, which is unknown to our laws.
The judgment is in order. Moreover, Ebubeagu in Ebonyi State has been operating as a terrorist organization against the masses. They have also been serving as a willing tool in the hands of government, against perceived political opponents. They have killed more people than they had protected.
oikirodah: PDP Thrown Into Panic As Oshiomhole's Ward Rally At Ugbekpe-Ekperi Sends Strong Signal Across (Video)
Would you blame the PDP if you were in their shoes? Just watch this video of Oshiomhole's arrival at Ugbekpe-Ekperi Ward 7 at Etsako Central LGA and ask yourself if you were an opposition party, would you not be concerned?
Adams Oshiomhole, the deputy director general of the APC's presidential campaign council, stormed five wards in Etsako Central yesterday and was greeted by a huge gathering of locals.
Oshiomhole's foray into the trenches at Edo North has sent the PDP into a panic mode, and they have begun to respond.
In layman's terms, a ward is a subdivision of a local government council, which is typically composed of a minimum of ten and a maximum of twenty wards.
The ward may have 6000 registered voters or even more, so you should be concerned if three to four thousand of these voters show up for a rally that was organised in less than 12 hours and features Oshiomhole, a man with such a charismatic personality that even a child born yesterday knows who he is.
The PDP has been nervous, and we heard a few days ago at the launch of their Edo North presidential campaign that Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, has promised to spend three days in Auchi campaigning for its party candidates in the upcoming general elections.
His decision may have been influenced by PDP leader and former Edo State deputy governor, Chief Mike Ogiadomhe, who stated that Oshiomhole is a threat to the party in Edo North and should be neutralized in any way possible.
In Edo State as a whole, Oshiomhole does not need to plan a rally; all he needs to do is loiter around in an open area for five minutes and boom everywhere" DON SOFT," with people everywhere singing and dancing cheerfully, take note of the word cheerfully.
Corrinthians: For daring to support her own party candidate. So she should leave her PDP candidate and support Obi who is in LP.
These are the same people that called others "betrayers".
Do you people even listen to the shitty thoughts that come out your minds at all? Isn't that tantamount to anti-party action? Where did you people learn your own brand of politics? And why must everyone sail in the same direction otherwise they're termed Sabos and marked either for killing or destruction?
Jeez.🤕🤕
Can't you interprete a simple sentence? How does my personal comment translate to an Igbo Opinion? Who told you that I'm speaking for the Igbo's?
Is that how you were taught in school? I believe it's not.
My comment represent my personal opinion, which is premised on the reality on ground. Most voters from the South East and south South, will vote for LP on 25th Feb, because of Obi's influence and nothing more. This will really be a serious challenge to those running for a federal position from the South East extraction.
Interact with an average voters from the East, and you ll understand better.
Pascal9: and obi will not win the president, never
whether Obi wins the election or not, Ekwunife will not return. Obi's popularity has really affected her chances, and this may be the fate of some other senatorial and house of Representatives candidates from the South East extraction and some other parts of South South. This is the hard truth and a bitter reality.
Even some South East Governors running for Senate, if they don't work hard, they will not return. The Obi's effect, particularly in the East, is slimming down their chances. Interact with the average voters on the street, you ll understand.
Villa12: Prophecy to your miserable life to get better first before prohecying about a woman who can buy your entire lineage
My life is not miserable and will never be. God has been faithful to me, my family and my generation, and all is well with us.
Please, learn how not to digress from the subject of discourse. No need for been abusive.
On the topic of discourse, Ekwunife will not return. I'm not prophesying, but, stating the reality on ground. Obi's popularity has really affected her chances, and this is not a matter of whether Obi wins the election or not. This may be the fate of other senatorial and house of Representatives candidates from the South East extraction and some other parts of South South. This is the hard truth and a bitter reality.
seunmsg: The court will hear the case on 15th February and adjourn for response of the prosecution to the submission of the respondent till February ending. Finally, judgement will be entered March ending. By then, even the CBN will no longer be interested in the Naira redesign as the political gain they intend to achieve would have been defeated. For now, old and new notes remains legal tender till February 15th.
An interim order last only for 7 days. The adjourned date of 15th February is for hearing of the motion on notice and not the substantive suit, which could either vacate the order made today or extend it. However , If we are to interpret the law strictly, Supreme court does not have the original jurisdiction to entertain a matter between AG States and CBN, that's an abuse of Court process.
Penguin2: Everything I said in my post reechoed here.
Supreme Court has no jurisdiction over this case. If the plaintiffs were serious, they know that the right place to institute the case is at the High Court.
What the lawyers of Kaduna, Kogi and Zamfara have done is abuse of court process.
Garfield1 Afamed
Jurisdiction is a threshold issue. The court will definitely dismiss the suit.
Anyone against Peter Obi at this point is anti-Nigeria. They're either delusional partisans, tribal/religious bigoted or they're all about their stomach infrastructure.
Eat everything today and die tomorrow kind of people with no vision🙄 pathetic.
It's not all about you. Do your future generations a favour vote Obidatti2023.
