In a statement issued by his campaign organization in Umuahia, Igbokwe noted that the polls offered another opportunity to vote for a credible, competent and widely acceptable individual like him, to fly the flag and win the election for the party at the polls.

He said he was prepared and have the requisite knowledge, contact and exposure to reposition the
state and put her on the path of growth and economic development.

Earlier, he had visited the Umuahia home of the late guber flag bearer, Prof. Uche Ikonne, where he commiserated with his widow, Lady Uzoamaka Ikonne and the family .
He expressed his deep condolences to the family and party faithfuls on the loss of a father and great leader.

The statement reads further,
"My name is Mayor Lucky Igbokwe popularly known as Don Lulu.
I am from Aba North, Aba South, Arochukwu, Bende, Ishiala Ngwa North, Isiala-Ngwa South, Ikwuano, Isikwuato, Obingwa, Ohafia, Umuahia -South, Ukwa-East Ukwa-West, Ugwunabo, Umunneochi and Umuahia -North.

I'm an Abian .

Before I proceed any further, I want to appreciate Ndi-Abia, members and leaders of our great party, the PDP and my teeming supporters, for their unflinching support so far.

Indeed, we have seen the unfortunate situation that befell our great party, in the state.

The death of our gubernatorial flag bearer, Prof Uche Eleazar Ikonne, was least of the news I expected to hear about a man I had so much regard and respect for.
It's unfortunate that we lost him ,when he was at the verge of securing victory for our great party, once again, at the polls.
May his soul continue to rest in peace .

However, in line with the electoral act and as announced by our great party, another primary election is scheduled to hold tomorrow Saturday 4th February, 2023, to pick a new candidate to fly the flag of our party at the March 11th guber polls, at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

I want to use this medium,to inform my teeming supporters spread across the length and breadth of Abia that, I will be participating in the primary scheduled for tomorrow.

To our esteemed delegates and party faithfuls, this is another opportunity to vote for a credible, competent and widely acceptable individual like me, to fly the flag and win the election for our party at the polls.

I'm prepared and have the requisite knowledge, contact and exposure to reposition our state and put her on the path of growth and economic development.

I therefore urge you, our esteemed delegates, to come out in your numbers, and cast your vote, for me.

A vote for me ,is a vote for an Abia that will work for all ages. With a candidate like me at the ballot ,we are sure of retaining Abia for our party, the PDP.

To my teeming supporters, I urge you to come out enmass tomorrow and give us your usually solidarity.

Wrong analysis.
The requirements to be declared a winner are as follows:

a) Obtaining the highest number of votes in the election.

b) Obtaining 25 percent of the total votes cast in at least 24 states.

Where non of the candidates meets the above requirements, INEC will declare a re-run of the election. Both requirements must be duly satisfied. You can't meet one, without satisfying the other.

Sometimes, when i catch his eyes, he smiles discretely at me. Now, it's november and he's still not saying anything. I don't know what to do because earlier in the year, I didn't have much feeling for him. But now, I feel I have something for him. There is another girl in the department that is obviously trying to get him, but he doesn't give her attention but gives me attention. I am tired. I don't know what to do? I can't ask him out, that's out of it. I wouldn't.

If you've been in this situation before, how did you handle it? Please help me as I'm on the brink of asking him so i don't continue wasting my time?
