Romance / Re: Why Do Girls Like Sleeping On Top Of Their Men? by IgboGirl(f): 8:31pm On Jun 14, 2010
I don't know why someone of you think this is a ridiculous question undecided If you haven't done it before or don't have a clue what the poster is talking about then say so instead of labeling his question ridiculous.
Anyway, this position of sleeping is only meant for guys who have the stamina and girls who are not overweight.
I personally have done it couple of times, why? Cos I like feeling my man's hearbeat and his sweet embrace with those muscles of his smiley. It's not uncomfortable for him cos he's got the stamina. He is very fit! But it's not every night, just once in a while when we feel like it. He usually asks me to.

Romance / Why Do Men Fall So Cheap By Sleeping With Their Girlfriends Before Marriage? by IgboGirl(f): 7:44pm On Jun 14, 2010
Why do men fall so cheap by stooping so low to sleep with their girlfriends before getting married?
Marriage means that the man's body and his wife's body belong to each other
therefore having a sex affair outside marriage is like a type of stealing.
If your woman really loves you, she should respect that body by accepting your ring and say "I DO"(get married) before sleeping with you.
I am 25 years old and still a virgin and I will not dare to sleep with any man outside marriage.
I will treat him like a gentleman he deserves by getting married before the next level.
fellas out there, take my advice and stop being cheap. Thanks

Politics / Re: Are Nigerians Resident In Uk Jealous Of Their Visiting Counterparts ? by IgboGirl(f): 11:11pm On Jun 09, 2010
@ Poster
so you visit UK twice every year? what do you do for a living? and one more thing, if Nigeria is so good and you love living there so much why the frequent visit to UK? maybe your friends appear to be jealous to you cos you free load off of them when you visit. you probably don't pay house rent when you visit them and don't pay for food. don't confuse their anger/worry with jealousy.

Politics / Chief Justice Now Acting As President by IgboGirl(f): 7:16pm On Jan 08, 2010
<<The 15 new permanent secretaries approved by President Umaru Yar’Adua on October 26 last year, will now be sworn in by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Aloysius Katsina-Alu.

The new appointees will replace the 10 who were retired earlier in accordance with the new service tenure policy which stipulates that a permanent secretary and director in a federal ministry can only hold the office for a maximum of eight years – two terms of four years each.>>

Politics / Re: Amaechis Port Harcourt! by IgboGirl(f): 6:33pm On Jan 08, 2010
I am shocked at how some of you managed to be negative on something that is so positive and promising. what is wrong with you people? Nigerians are really their own worst enemy. tufiakwa! shouldn't we be applauding governors that are doing their best to better their states? it seems most of you are so accustomed to your governors stealing ur money and not doing anything for your states that you frown at any sight of progress in other areas.
Politics / Re: This Is For All Cyber Cowards! by IgboGirl(f): 6:20pm On Jan 08, 2010
@ donjon

while you are at it, please ask them how many of them will be running for a leadership post in their respective communities when their time comes? how many will be willing to run for presidency, senate, governor etc? the current leaders we have now will pass by and new leaders will follow. so, how many of the future generations on here will be willing to run for a post and help better and correct the mistakes past leaders made?

you are right, they all contribute to Nigeria's problem. some of them on here are scammers, some of them willingly bribe their professors or even sleep with them just to graduate. some pay people to take jamb for them. some won't bat an eye before they pour fuel and burn another human whom they suspect to be a thief. taking part in jungle justice and what not. some know or are even related to the kidnappers. in fact, if we start listing all the atrocities Nigerian citizens especially our generation have committed i think they will surpass that of the corrupt leaders.

and before any coward will point a finger at me, i already have my future planned and making Nigeria a better place starting with my community is part of it. my parents are already doing that.

Politics / Terror Watch List: Massob Backs U.S. by IgboGirl(f): 9:49pm On Jan 06, 2010
By  Anayo Okoli

"Umuahia—AS Nigerians engage themselves in a debate over America’s decision to place Nigeria and its citizens under serious watch on account of the botched bomb attack by a Nigerian citizen, the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has thrown its weight behind America, saying its action was in order.

MASSOB meanwhile, claimed that Nigeria as a state is a terror to Biafrans.

“Currently, we are being killed, our shops, investments and establishments are been looted, destroyed and set ablaze while our vehicles are vandalized in the Northern part of Nigeria. The mobile police unit of Nigeria police force scattered all over Biafra land kills at random and engaged in extra-judicial killings.

The presence of ‘Operation Messa’ squad of Nigeria Military like in a war situation in Biafra land is a terror to our people.

“Farouk  Abdulmutallab is just one among (alleged) thousands of conventional and international terrorists of Northern Nigeria origin, who are directly or indirectly controlled, sponsored, supervised, supported and directed by some Islamic religious and traditional leaders, some political leaders and businessmen secretly, with foreign Islamic countries backing them financially and materially,” the group said in a statement by Mr Uchenna Madu, its Director of Information."

yeah we don't have time to plan evil things against other countries but we def do have time to plan evil things against fellow Nigerians, thanks to the northerners and their sharia law
Politics / Re: Senate Gives Obama's Admin 7-day Utimatum To Remove Nigeria From The Black List by IgboGirl(f): 6:47pm On Jan 06, 2010
Bunch of you are just whinners! All you know how to do is complain about your failed govt and the officials. What exactly have you lots done about it? Has any of you once thought about organizing a protest? Has any of you ever spoken out about this failed govt? Making noise on the internet does not count. The senates and house of reps hardly come on this thing to read what yall are blabbing about. If you hate how Nigeria is being governed then speak out! If you don't want these old illiterate baffoons to loot Nigeria money then let your voice be heard. Stop whinning in your room. You people are accusing the senates as toothless dogs well guess what? you all are too!
All Nigerians know how to do is whine and complain but they can never take the bull by the horns. You lots are the future, you are the next generation.

what will it take for Nigeria to get rid of these corrupt leaders, an intervention from outside country?

Pharoh:

I would have asked you to look at this reply below but i am doubting the credibility of the poster.

Okay i would not like to think that i am speaking for myself, but i believe there are other men like me. Most of these men here will be bachelors before they get married and they were doing all these stuffs before getting married so why should they stop when the wife comes in?.

I live alone right now and i do everything from the market to cooking to cleaning my home and any man who does not do some of this things when married probably was not trained for that or he is still living with the African man mentality. A man should help his wife willingly and when i mean willingly i am saying willingly enough.

I think the example @rosabelle gave is a very good example of what i think it should be like. The catch is there you don't have to tell him like you are giving him a task or command, there are unique ways you pass your message across to your husband smiley.

But in saying all these i believe there are still men who will still live the traditional way but i don't know the percentage though but i think with education and exposure things will get better. But it is not an avenue for you to call us names na grin you know we are men and we cherish our ego's a lot. cheesy

Men like you make me proud smiley and that was the reason why I used "some men" in all my postings cos I know not all men reason like the poster of this thread. you are one of the good and considerate men i talked about.

And how many losers can you possibly count on nairaland hoping you have spoken with all of them right? There is no modern Nigerian man who does not help his wife domestically if you don't know that so get it now. The keyword is helping your wife domestically should not be substituted with designation or drawing up roasters.

If that is the case then why are these immature boys crying over doing dishes

@Igbogirl,
It clearly shows you're a young girl desperately seeking for attention. You can say whatever you like. But being vulgar just makes your posts suck.
Read back and take a look at the posts of other ladies. Nkem di iche bu ajo afa.
Nne were nwayoo ka ofe roro aro zuoro anyi nri.(take am easy)

Seeking attention? That's a good but irrelevant one! The other ladies you speak of were probably being careful not to offend you men. I don't play like that. I call it as I see it not caring who gets offended. You men on here are beyond redemption. Any man who thinks it's wrong to help her woman do dishes is a loser! Are you a loser? Do you fall in the category of men I speak of?

Rosabelle:

LOL
Its going up a notch here it is.
Quodos to Igbogirl. I havnt read your previous postings, and I dont know whether you curse or use vulgar language, but youre hitting the nail on the head.
Half these men ranting about house work were simply brought up badly, and turned out lazy.
My brother is a spick and span character and cant be caught dead in an even 'partially dirty' home, so he cleans, when his wife has her hands full and I respect him for it, and it puts his wife on her toes, cos she doesnt want her husband coming back from work and pointing out what she didnt do. She knows he can cope with and without her even though he loves her to death, so she's constantly on her toes to make him happy.
You earn respect my brothers, you CANT demand it.

@Aysomething . . . The Lord has blessed you jare. You can count yourself lucky cos you found a man who's mother can be proud wherever she is, cos she brought her son up to be a MAN.
Not all these monkeys you have here shouting up and down. You people think all it takes to be a man is to shout and to go out and come back inside and say youve worked so food made by the house girl . . . . oh Im sorry, glorified housegirl you call your wife should be waiting on the table.
Meanwhile half those women have more demanding jobs and are trying just as hard as you to make ends meet.

Well sha, I'l continue to say it, women, bring up your sons to be men. Bring them up different. Teach them to be upright characters. If we all do our homework, the quality of nigerian men would improve!
Not this rubbish I read on NL everyday

My only postings on here are on pages 22 and 23. I didn't use vulgar! They are mistaking calling them STUPID for vulgar but hey that's their problem. I call a spade a spade. Some of these men are just pathetic.

Ajengogo:

This is quite a response full of venom. Meeeeeeeeennnnnn!!!!!!!! stair clear of this IgboGirl oooo. Frankly speaking, IgboGirl, you don't have to use vulgar words to express your feelings or convey your message. I believe it's a joke taken too far!!!! And I don't mind spanking your ass for that!!!! (just kidding) smiley smiley smiley

Oh no sweetie I will use vulgar words or even worst if I have to. Some Nigerian men and their ways of thinking make me sick.
The so called wife they vowed not to help with dishes probably have a more demanding job than them but yet she will rush home to cook for these men and they find it hard to help with doing dishes? I blame their mothers who didn't raise them right. If some mothers have taught their sons the importance of helping a woman out in the kitchen when necessary these boys here won't be making a big deal with doing dishes.

Must you throw insults to make your opinions known? I read your previous posts and they are all the same. Ranting away like a depressed woman.
God! Get a grip on yourself! We're not here to fight but to share our opinions.
And stop embarassing yourself!

How can I possibly embarass myself on a message board? Are you for real? Are you one of the archaic men I was referring to? I feel sorry for your would be wife too.
Being nice to some of you men won't just cut it. How do you expect me to be nice to men that would rather see their wives suffer with housework than help her? Men like that deserve no respect!

Your unnecessary rantings shows you have not been following this thread. There are Europeans, Asians and American men if we are not good for you ladies okay.

You are never good for anything! I'm guessing my so called rantings like you put it is hitting home. Don't say "we" cos not all African/Nigerian men are like bunch of you on here. There are good and considerate Nigerian men that won't hesitate to help their wives in any way possible
Romance / Re: Me? Do The Dishes With You? For What? by IgboGirl(f): 7:02pm On Dec 01, 2009
Stupid archaic Men!! Like I stated earlier if you can't do the dishes then refrain from using them simple! Your wife is not your housegirl, she can't cook, clean the house and same time do your damn dishes. What's wrong with easing the housework for your wife? You both have jobs that drain your energies by the time you get home but still she enters kitchen and cook for you so exactly what is wrong with you helping her even if it's just doing the dishes?

I feel sorry for the women that agree to marry some of you. Some of you African/Nigerian men are pathetic, insecure, weak evil men! You would rather see your wife struggle with housework than help her? Useless men! The women that marry you losers and tolerate this rubbish from you men are just as stupid as you all.

Am a medical student too. . .I have personal experience with what most medical girls go through in school. . .
1. Med sch is like a race with not much chances or you are thrown out. . .After ANT, BCH & PHY you land in clinicals. While studying for PAT & PHARM, you deal with stressful ward rounds. Stress continues without break or space. Giving no room to socialise. Thats why most med girls dont know the latest fashion or whats even going on in school. . .
2. Med school kind of exclude you from the main frame of the university. . .We dont have the same academic calender with the sch. . .When school is on break, med school will be on, when the med school is on, school is on break. . .So most of the people we see and interact with are our fellow med students. Thats why doctors always end up marrying doctors
3. Since in nigerian universities, student do 80% of the academic work, is always about books in med school, not compromising anything to pass and move on. Hence most med student dont have time to keep a normal relationship. . .
3. Med school kind of brain wash you with stuffs to the extent that you find it difficult to reason along with people outside med school. . . Making compatibility skew towards medical practitioners. . .
4. The last thing i will say is the years. . .Most medical girls always make the mistake of waiting to be serious in a relationship until after school. . . By the time med sch have counted 6 years to their years, housemanship put additional 1 year and nysc crown it with a year then desperation has to envelope them as their mate admitted into 4 years course must have been working and married by then
But even at all this problems mentioned, they still overcome and marry one way or another. . .
For your case, judging from your post and some of your comments, i think you have always been living the life of an ideal woman, a marriage material based on societal standard. . . See, there is nothing like an ideal woman, that bad character of yours you have been hiding may be the only thing that will thrill your future husband the most. . . Forget about what a wife material should be, BE YOURSELF
well, we all have our story, yours is on the way too and very soon. . . Wish you the best
you can drop me a mail
to see if i can expand your tentacles in search of this man
oghenekura@gmail.com

going by your post, then in that case she should be or have been approached by male med students.
