Left for me if I wasn't moved as a RN5 user to get the RN8 last year, I won't consider it and the RN9 this year. The RN9s is more suited if you have the funds

What most peeps don't know is that mediatek is now taking shape, especially for their latest drops( the Helio and G series).

Xiaomi will always add features that will matchup with Snapdragon in their Mtk phones.

E.g Redmi note 4 with Mtk uses 10 cores while the 4x with Snapdragon uses 8 cores.

And you cannot underestimate the note 4 Mtk coz it's also an awesome device.

No, it hasn't. It was bought new and has not been repaired before.

The phone didn't hit anywhere. I upgraded from Miui9 to 11 and it was cool (just that my USB stopped transferring files to my PC but charges only since the upgrade).

The problem started with the back buttons becoming dysfunctional. I met a repairer and he told me the back button cannot be repaired. I had to download from Play Store to use the screen sort.

Soon, the screen started malfunctioning. Like it doesn't touch. There's no physical damage on the phone. Just yesterday as I was contemplating changing the screen and picked up the phone, I noticed that there are rainbow lines in the screen.

I'm afraid of changing the screen if these problems came on their own so it wouldn't come again.

How can I downgrade to Miui 9? If this is the case of my inability to transfer files via my USB to my PC?

This kind of problem is screen issue, since the back button started misbehaving, then the touchpad fused with the LCD is having problem. So it's either the touchpad is changed ( which is not always advisable for xiaomi phones as it malfunction with time) or change the whole screen.

The issue of file transfer I think is your system. Some window 8 /8.1 don't allow file transfer from experience o and windows 7 does and if you want to verify this, put a memory card on the phone and plug to the system, if it recognize the card and your phone memory, then it's the system.

To be sincere, if you unbox yourself, then don't blame the seller, it might be 3 of those issues and it's definitely FACTORY FAULT which can be rectified by doing one of the 3 solutions he gave you.

You didn't buy from a store so no warranty is given here, only if he give you warranty then you can fight the issue with you warranty card or proof.

You might be tired of your phone which is still in perfect condition. If you want a good value for it and some physical parts are old or rough and you replace it, then it has been refurbished

Doesn't mean the phone won't work well
