The dead body of a woman with her two kids has been found in Etche LGA, Rivers State after they were allegedly poisoned to death by the woman's apprentice.

Reports has it that the deceased's apprentice was paid by her husband's mistress to poison her.

“Man Gat To Survive” is the case of a popular TV presenter with the Silverbird Television, Port Harcourt, VeeJay Presh.

The veteran presenter left the TV screens with many of his fans, friends and well wishers asking for his whereabouts only for him to be spotted as a sales boy in a popular kiddies shop in Port Harcourt yesterday.

According to a female fan who took a picture of VeeJay Presh, she said while she was patronizing the kiddies store with her child, she noticed a strike resemblance of someone who looks exactly like the veteran presenter and she had to approach him only to discover he was really the one.

The lady immediately took pictures of him as the sales boy to the kiddies store and posted on social media.

The body of a man said to be a stowaway, has fallen from a plane right inside a garden, causing some stir in the area.

According to a report by The Independent, the body of a suspected stowaway fell from a plane and landed one metre away from a man sunbathing in his back garden in south London, a neighbour has claimed.

Police believe the body to be that of a man and he is understood to have fallen from the landing gear of a Kenya Airways flight as it prepared to land at Heathrow Airport.

According to data from flightradar24.com, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner was little more than 3,500 feet above the ground as it flew over the address in Offerton Road in Clapham.

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo state, has been shut down indefinitely by the school authorities.

In a circular signed by the Registrar, Mr Sule Atiku, no reason was given for the decision but report says there are issues of industrial relationship between the management and trade unions of the institution.

According to TVC, the lecturers and other staff have refused to work over unpaid entitlements and salaries.

The statement advised students to vacate the school not later than 3pm today.

The management noted that the closure became imperative in order to forestall breakdown of law of order

Afy Douglas, a gospel singer and minister based in Port Harcourt has taken to Facebook to appreciate and express his gratitude to God after him and family escaped being hit by a stray bullet that mysteriously landed inside his bedroom.

The singer said he was inside his son's room when he heard a sound like something heavy fell and trying to figure what was that, behold a live bullet on his bed.

So...I was in my son's room lounging, my wife in our daughter's room when we heard this sound like something heavy just fell. I jumped up and checked until I opened the door of our bedroom. First I noticed white particles on the red rug, then my eyes went to the stuff on the bed.

At first I thought the insecticide I just sprayed had killed a roach. As I got close fear gripped me! This is a BULLET! Never handled a gun but sure know what a bullet looks like...then I looked up again and saw the hole in the ceiling where the particles on the rug came from.

So, a stray bullet from wherever just visited us. I have seen others share this same story before and I thank God it hurt no one BUT it raises many questions. When they shoot in the air to either disperse people or "salute" whoever (or any other reason), does the bullet melt in the air? The Savior still saves. Thank God with us.

Yesterday I miraculously survived this terrible accident.

I left Lagos yesterday heading to the east, just before I got to Ore doing 100-120km, my car lost control and started veering off to the right.

I tried to steer it back on track and the next thing I knew I was upside down tumbling till the car finally ended up in a gutter.

Miraculously I came out alive with few cuts and bruises.

I thank the Almighty God for his mercies, I thank our blessed mother Mary, and to all the Angels sent by God to protect me always, thank you.

I also thank all my fans and friends all over the world who always pray for me and wish me well.

God is alive.
Life can end in a second. The money, the cars, the mansions, the fame, the good life, all vanity.

If depression was a journey, I took that route, if it was a destination, I once lived there.. However, I chose to leave and I left for Good. ����

Starting from Childhood, I knew depression. I did well in English and Spelling and performed poorly in Maths..So my Teacher in SureWay Montessori School, PH..Will describe me as dumb, dondi, flog me and verbally abuse me. It affected my self-esteem. Its painful..I felt not good enough, fear of going to school, couldn’t tell my parents. �

Now to family, my Dad, Mom and Mom’s Family had issues..Every now and then threats of “I’m Leaving”. The Fear /Deep cut pain of suffering a broken home..I thought of dying self, as the only child if they don’t reconcile…��

Another Depressing time was when I lost My Mom after begging God to spare her life. �
I was the only child, so we were so close, at Secondary School JSS, I still suck her breast and crawl into her arms to sleep at night. My world came crashing. ��������
