One of the most trending things on the Nigerian social media space these days among artistes is the way each try to do a cover of Kiss Daniel’s hit song, ‘Fvck You’. At the moment, almost every A-list musician has done their own version of the song.

Kenyan-born singer, Victoria Kimani, also did her own version of the song but seized the opportunity to point an accusing finger at fellow artiste – Ycee – whom she accused of stealing her song. She recently played both songs to show the world that indeed Ycee stole her intellectual property.

To get to the root of the matter, Saturday Beats reached out to Ycee’s camp and the rap artiste, who spoke through his manager, Aquari, explained that at first, they thought it was a joke till she posted the snippet on Instagram.

“We heard the song Victoria Kimani sang claiming that we stole it from her but I think she was just chasing shadows.

“She did not reach out to us before now because she heard the song she claims Ycee stole from her several times before it was released.

“They are both artistes and friends so she was privileged to hear the song several times before it was released.

“She was looking for a free promo that is just basically what she was doing. If you go online, you would read the response of people to her accusation. That is the industry for you.

“Why take your issues to the social media when you have each other’s telephone numbers? Her accusation has come to us as a shock that she would call Ycee out for such a thing.

“How can she claim that someone stole her song? It is just funny. At the moment, Ycee is very busy working on his album; in fact, he is putting finishing touches to it. Once it is done, everyone would know about it,” he said.

A boy was, today, stopped from stabbing himself to death as a result of heartbreak in Delta State.

The boy had gone to the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe, to try to win back his girl, only to be told off again.

Unable to handle the rejection, he brought out a bottle, broke it and started stabbing himself.

However, what could have led to suicide, was prevented, as passersby overpowered him and wrestled the shards of bottle from him.

Singer Mc Galaxy has reacted to the uproar his Live video session with actress/IG comedian, Etinosa, has generated today. The pair had an Instagram live video session last night where Etinosa went butt naked.

Etinosa when she appeared on the Live Video, said

“I want to get naked. My boyfriend is here, I want him to go so that I can get naked. Guys hold on let me lock the door. I know that my boyfriend has logged on to check what is going on, thunder will fire my boyfriend because I am ready to end the relationship. I am not joking, we have broken up. Every day, I am sorry. I am tired of living my life for people. I want to live my life for me to be happy. Sorry viewers, I have a pot belly.

“MC if I slap you, open your eyes you dey craze. If you cut it (the call) I will cut you in life. Is it your body? It’s my body I want to exhibit my body. I want to be expressing my body. Some people are calling my phone, I want to be happy, my body is beautiful. I am comfortable showing my naked body. I am happy with my unclothedness.”

Speaking in an exclusive chat with LIB, Mc Galaxy explained why he couldn't have ended the session when she started removing her clothes. According to him, he does not in anyway regret having the live video session with Etinosa

''My conscience knows I am innocent. Anytime people call on video now, I ensure I tell them to please don't go naked. I keep saying it on phone when I am doing my live video. When you call, I don't expect you to go naked. Just do anything to have fun. If you want to market your brand, fine. Sometimes, some people just call in to just go nut. I don't ask anybody to call in naked and I will never ask anybody to call in naked''.

Asked why he did not end the video when Etinosa who he knows is popular, was about to go naked, the singer said

''If you watched that video, I was blocking my eyes. I couldn't even watch it. I even told her bye and she said if I cut the call, I will kill you, so at a point I didn't want it to feel like I was embarassing her. She is a celebrity and I cannot just cut off the call. I just had to cover my face''.

Asked if he regrets the whole incident, he said

''It is not my fault. It has happened, it has happened. I am sure no girl will have the mind to do such again seeing what is happening now. This doesn't stop my Friday chat with my fans. If you even check my comment, you will see that Etinosa commented that she was going to call and join some days ago Since the first one happened, she has been dropping message on my comment that my ladies are very pretty and that she was going to call in and join.

Mc Galaxy says he has reached out to her and that she is good. According to him, the argument that she might be depressed and decided to act in such a manner is unfounded.

''Etinosa is not depressed. We have been talking since. We just finished talking not long ago before you called in''.
