"A THREAD CDD Fact Check: How true is @MBuhari 's aide's tweet on @atiku 's trip to US On Friday, @Laurestar a social media aide to @MBuhari posted a tweet quoting US Department of African Affairs saying, @atiku , who was visiting the US after 12 years cannot be arrested." "Because he was travelling under diplomatic cover. The Fact: The Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) fact-checkers reviewed the tweet to ascertain the veracity of the quote attributed to the US Department of African Affairs. #FakeNews" " Verdict: Therefore, the quote attributed to the so- called US Department for African Affairs is FALSE. The so-called Department for African Affairs does not exist and is unrecognized by the US constitution and therefore could not have made the comment attributed to it #FakeNews" Source: Center for Democracy and Development West Africa https://mobile.twitter.com/CDDWestAfrica/status/1086881485276303362/photo/1 cc: lalasticlala |
You claim that there are evidences to prove of someone's culpability in an offence but you ignorantly assert that "the onus is on him to exonerate himself". Who are the handlers of these clowns? Is it the duty of the defendant to prove innocence or is it the duty of the prosecutor to prove beyond doubt in a criminal offence? No wonder these clowns are losing court cases. Criminal incompetence worse than even year two law students. |
Delusion of grandeur. The North that has had the most turn at power and its corridors, with all the concessions that imply, are still the most uneducated, the most diseased, the most poverty ridden, the most violent. Every regression to the mean Nigeria has witnessed that has turned it worse than conditions in even war torn countries occur in the North. The North is a blight on Nigeria, and indeed on the world. Gideon Orkar laid the framework that must be studied and implemented. |
Osibanjo was chairman of the panel set up to probe Babachir and also the Ikoyi billions (this was already an aberration as this role is provided by law to be handled by investigative authorities). Nineteen months after, Osibanjo is yet to release to the public the report that made Babachir's sack mandatory, neither does the public knows who owns.the Ikoyi billions. The obvious questions are: 1. Why has Osibanjo not released the report he promised to release when completed? 2. Why was Babachir sacked? 3. If Babachir was sacked because he was found guilty of criminality, why has he not been prosecuted? 4. Who owns the Ikoyi billions? 5. If the Ikoyi billions were owned by someone in the opposition parties, would the owner have been typically revealed? Do not be fooled. They are all willing participants in these criminal enterprises. |
You are an idiot if you think nobody knows you are a male hiding behind that moniker. |
Let me leave this here. Smh. http://www.todaysecho.com/off-duty-british-soldier-who-stormed-scene-of-kenya-terrorist-attack-commended/ |

This is what I was saying. They are about to whitewash the whole operation into a "saviour complex", relegating the overwhelming efforts of the Kenyan security services. Smh. |
Kenya's response to this situation was so professional. And the kits of the security services look so admirable. Great job. |
panafrican:I'm also waiting to see the proof from that man. Dubois should be compulsory reading in African schools. |
Fidha254:Dude, don't bullshit me. That man looks like a SF, dressed like a SF and buried himself into an active hostile situation. If he went into an active situation to reacue hostages then he was involved in direct confrontation. Don't bullshit me. |
While foreign Caucasian direct operations in conflict zones in Africa are commendable, Africans must impose themselves and take care of their situations by themselves. We can't keep spending billions after billions in training and arming the military, including special forces, and when local operations occur, we are confronted with imagery of foreign Caucasian actors playing highly visible roles. This is unacceptable. This conveys a lack of trust on the capabilities of our special forces and also emphasizes an obvious stereotype. Africa must learn to handle her problems. |
Channels Tv can no longer claim to be apolitical. Recent events, including the partisanship of their management provide probable cause to their bias. |
When excellence in sports is done by a negro, it's always due to "power and athleticism", never about skill. Pathetic filths. |
This poem was written by Niyi Osundare in October 2016. Onnoghen wasn't the CJN. The OP, like many of its ilk, are agents of the well known government of propaganda promoting false equivalence. There has been a directive on their propaganda groups to promote this poem by Niyi as focused on the CJN. Be guided accordingly. |
Anytime I see Pete, my mind goes back to him as Okonkwo in the movie "Things Fall Apart". Arguably one of the greatest rendition of acting in Nollywood. |
That girl is five years old. She didn't deserve this, you this sick bastard. |
Hahaha. I urge everyone here to look up what "Streisand effect" is. |
Nineteen months later, Osibanjo has not released the report on this man, neither has he been prosecuted. Don't be fooled by the gimmick. They are all involved in the criminal enterprise. |
Those lyrics are from Jay Z off "The Prelude" song. |
Houseofglam7:You sure are on a roll on NL. |
Ranchhoddas:My comment was about the mafia sending a member of the family outside the country, irrespective of whether they were involved or not. Don't be deluded into thinking that Mafias don't involve families. That is just romanticized ethos that have no relation with reality. In that same "Godfather", Michael's sister, who was not involved with the mafia was used by the husband, a member of another mafia, to setup Sonny and kill him. The saying that uninvolved families don't get touched is just romanticized nonsense. They get touched everyday, b. |
Reminds me of the godfather novel where Michael is sent outside the country to keep him from the blowback of the mafia. His kids can get touched. Even Presidents can be touched. Real talk. |
Read this article then look at the headline and you will see what a certain mod is turning nairaland to. Seun, you are either a beneficiary of the disinformation on this site or you are incapable of sanctioning your mod where applicable. |
How can you tell this is in Israel? She looks amazing. |
What she meant is that people pay millions now to have voluptuous bodies. The next line after the millions comment reveals the context. |
Look at them glorifying a despicable miscreant. Are they remotely aware of the criminality of this thug? When you live by the thug code, there are consequences. You don't get to act surprised when thuggers creaming for your spot test you. You made your bones, others will make theirs. |
Afonjas:I've realized that. Actually, the source of the pictures (the DonKleri... dude on twitter) is a reliable authority on insurgency in Nigeria. That's where the error/deception came from. |
Do you have the link to the earliest upload website and the date? And Edward posted this thing o. |
Consequences of a thug life. Dude, like Pac, must have thought he was untouchable till he got popped. Edit: I see some poorly informed opinions about Pac on my comment. The outlook of Pac before the Quad studio shooting is different from the Pac after. Before his first shooting, Pac mainly decided to keep his beef on wax and to continue his social crusade. Pac after this shooting was now a renegade, who let Suge put a battery on his back. Slapping the relatives of people who had beef with him is something Pac would likely not do before the first shooting. But after, Pac had accepted the consequences of his thuglife because he realized he was now dealing with real killers. |
If the pictures are from Edward, then they are genuine. Congrats, soldiers. |
