Politics › Re: BBC Changes Gear, now Says "Nigeria Troops Cross Into Cameroun" by ignis: 1:24pm On Aug 26, 2014
rickkid: This is a broadcaster owned by the government of a country which invaded us and colonised us for nearly 100 years. A country which sent its people across the Atlantic to come and claim our land and resources for itself and put our people in prison for protesting against foreign occupation.

The fact that some people actually expect such a country to somehow have our interest at heart is absolutely mind-boggling. I mean what's not to get?

But as I said earlier, Nigerians have bulletproof brains. We are the most delightfully irrational people on earth (well except Ghanaians).

I don't quite understand how we're managing it, but somehow we make it work.
It's irritating when ignorant people like you start condemning and attacking others, because in doing so you expose your folly, ignorance and dumb brain to everybody.
There are many countries still very close and in coperation with their colonial masters.
I can tell you at least five countries in Africa which their colonial masters are still in full support of them, and never withholds their helping hands from them whenever they are faced with a challenge or disaster.
Not talking about the infrastructural development now.

May I remind you that it's better to keep silence and let others think you are a fool than to open your mouth and clear all doubts.

It's now obvious that BBC don't have the success of Nigeria in mind They are seriously against our progress.

It pains me that a lot of people are yet to realize this.

I weep for my country. ....

Democracy have failed us. When are we going back to military rule? I prefer military rule because even if infrastructure and welfare is not provided by the military govt, we are always sure of security of lives and properties.

Getting worse by the day .... I weep for my country.

If the police cannot protect themselves and their camp? How can they protect the lives and properties of the citizen as they claim?

BTW, what is police training school doing in Borno of all places? Common sense would suggest these police men are trained in a calm state and then transfered back to borno after they are done with the training school to resume their assigned duties.
I might be wrong, though. ...

When has it become formal to ask someone if he/she is a virgin in an interview setting? Op, I don't blame you... I could feel the shock and surprise in you as you heard the question.
Assuming you answered either yes/no, another useless question would have accompanied your answer like; Why are you still a virgin at this age, At what age did you loose your virginity or How did you loose it?
That's invasion of privacy for Christ sake.

There is a thin line between being smart and being mad.
What works for Alfred might not work for others. Imitators beware. If you do same, it could land you in a psychiatrist hospital.
