Osun election and Lagos to obi

Been celebrated in all IPOB land.
Igbos will celebrate anybody that defeats the incumbent especially against a godfather

At the bolded YES

If you don't know I will tell you.

Awolowo did not discriminate when he introduced free education and many prominent Igbo benefitted from the policy.

Again Tinubu was the first governor to introduce payment of WAEC fee to all students writing WAEC including Igbo that resides in Lagos.

When you are always doing from the position of knowledge
Why did Awolowo free education fail? Did Igbos tell you they can't pay? Tinubu has increased school fees now. Yorubas will drop out and Igbos will take their slot. Your backwards socialist government is your undoing

Are you new on nairaland or you just want to pretend? Have you forgotten so soon how your people carry Lagos election for head like their life depends on it? They opened hundreds of threads and whatsapp groups pre and post lagos election that you will almost mistook Lagos as a southeastern state. No wonder people call you hypocrites, disgusting one at that
Na you get Lagos? Is there any Yoruba voters in imo compared to igbo voters in Lagos. Lol, you people are dreaming. No be only Lagos. Did you see anybody saying Ronu, defend your land, attack Yoruba voters etc?

PO does not do Godfatherism or impose himself
He lends his support. That's all

Apc can only get Anambra through courts just like they did imo. Definitely not by peoples choice. Based on what performance??

Stick to what you know abeg
These yoruba people can never understand igbo politics. Do they expect Achonu to win because of Obi, is obi the one contesting? Can you compare Achonu to Otti? Did Otti not win? Are they expecting their backwards politics in Igboland?

Nigerians are not willing to leave APC and PDP behind.

Even those LP voters at the last election, majority of them were PDP supporters who were disgruntled with PDP choosing old man atiku AGAIN.

As for a genuine third force emerging, don't hold your breath. It's been tried before, and everytime it failed. Or it gets coopted by the mainstream politicans
You are getting it. Obi had to finish Atiku and Wike first and show everybody what he is capable of. What how PDP negotiate with him in the next election

Obi should be called to order. Obi did this in the national elections. He has continued in this his wild geese chase.
He will be "called to order" with PDP ticket in 2027 or watch him fvck PDP again

I can't even count how many threads I have created about Obi being silent for now, only if he has future presidential ambitions, but his supporters are just mostly half baked that dont know how things work
You that know how things work is using state election to judge Obi's chances. Same mistake you made in the last election?

When I hear Yoruba boasting the Oyo is the equivalent SE in landmass I will be laughing. Is NE not the equivalent of the entire South? What has big for nothing landmass got to do with anything?
PoliticsRe: Anambra, Afreximbank Sign $200m Development Agreement by igwebuike01: 12:12pm On Nov 12, 2023
Reference:
All these initiatives are good but my concern is the disconnnect with the people, the base, the foundation, the true seeds of wealth creation.
This governance system by which initiatives are created and then operators are sought is not the best way forward.

You often hear government has this and that fund and to which people are asked to subscribe to.
At the end of the day most of it gets stolen or wasted because there are no targets.
N-Power for instance today cannot say for sure how many jobs it has created, how many businesses it has established, or what it has returned to the economy in naira terms for all that has gone in, simply because it was a supermarket of funds rather than an exchange of enterprise, an investment by government.

It is good to establish an industrial park, but it is better to have integrated industries at hand that are ready to produce things that are targeted for a particular purpose. Then the bank will be saying, x naira into this park will result in y naira in direct returns by z period of time.

We have seen so much going into all sorts of parks, export free trade zones, etc all over Nigeria, what you don't have is exactly what has been produced from these and how those products have helped the Nigerian economy in figures and numbers.

Whereas some of the most important and recognizable goods we import from such places as the America and the far East are made in no more than backyard sheds and some originating from garages.

Government should be closer to the people. Seek to build the economy from the ground up.
For example. 3rd mainland bridge required a 1.2million dollar 'part' for its maintenance a few days ago.
I am not there on ground but I suspect it is either expansion joints or roller bearings.
These articles will be made somewhere in Germany or England or China in a workshop no larger than a church hall.
Why can't we make them here with so much machine tools in the hands of local fabricators and where these machines are unavailable this government should be aiding their purchase.
Direct investment into productivity.

Create a market, create a means of production and use these loans to fund such.
That is the way to develop rather than just throwing money up in the air, or creating infrastructure and then asking people to come subscribe without a follow through plan for success.

We can do better.
Government is too far from the people.
You need to study SE economic model. What you described is exactly what is obtainable in SE

And yet you are living in Lagos!
You should be living in Anambra.
Which time Soludo live in Lagos again? He lived in Enugu when he was working and retired to his village before becoming governor. Ronu miscreants think the world revolves around Lagos

Oh great!

Nice to see that in Aba. grin

Strangely enough I least expected to see such in Aba. cool

I was thinking more like Owerri, Enugu etc.
Aba has the best underground drainage network in the East, similar to what you have in Port Harcourt. Enugu and Owerri have most beautiful roads but when it comes to underground drainage, give it to Aba

“The second initiative focuses on the Operation and Government framework for the Anambra diaspora fund, aiming to leverage the resources and expertise of the diaspora community for the state’s benefit”

If harness well, it will bring huge developments into Anambra and Igbo land in general

A lot of our people outside the country are already looking towards that avenue, how they will be donating/contributing their own quota in developing Anambra/Ala Igbo be it financially or otherwise

Anambra will wear a new look after Soludo must have finished performing his wonders in it
The economic iliterates on the waste side have allowed Chinese and Lebanese recolonize there because they lack ideas like this

Indeed. You clearly were.

Soludo’s candidate never stood a chance, like Obi.

Smart Soludo never deluded himself about the fact.

Unlike Obi.
So what's Your point? Must everybody support the establishment? You cowardly abokki allowed few oligarchy to cage you into perpetual poverty
