Family › Re: My Husband Has A Different Surname To The One He Uses.. by iHart(m): 8:10am On May 14, 2018
Morwendy:
I sincerely apologise to those of you who believe that I am not telling it as it is but I have actuallytold it exactly as it is. I do not think any less of Nigerians than I do of tbe English and just wanted to know about the name change. FYI, I'm 52, he's 49. No children though he has always treated my younger ones as his own. He's an Igbo from Owerri. His surname is an English surname. Yes the English do take their fathers name which is what confuses me - his grandfather had an English surname yet his fathers didn't

However, as my question has caused so much offence, I will leave it there. Good evening and thankyou.

Oh and no, I'm not a whale. I'm also not wealthy.
.
i have read through the comments up to 6th page and I think it's just two people that addressed an issue here. The man is Igbo, he is 47, the wife is older and he has no child from the marriage (possibly has no child at all). A man losses respect and some kind of right if he is not married, it is worse when he is married but has no male child, it is even worse when there is no child at all. In Igbo land, a man without a child (mostly a male child) is seem as not achieved anything in life. No matter your wealth and properties, no child no achievement. He may not have worried about this in the beginning but now he is worried. As he is getting old, he is asking himself; "what have I achieved". This is where the problem is, not the name change. He has a plan of getting married to a younger person so as to have a child, even if it is just one. Give him whatever he wants, if he leaves afterward, please let him go.

Good day to you all...
I'm an undergraduate working on Social factors as correlate of Jungle Justice behaviour among residents of Ilorin metropolis.. Pls I need who can suggest one or two measurement scale to measure this.. Thanks in andy
1. poverty: maybe among low income earners mostly those doing menial jobs and those doing much better job. I feel low income earners will most likely accept jungle justice than those of much higher income.

2. Type of Job: consider the perceptions of those doing white collar jobs and artisans/market business men. Those with white collar jobs may not find jungle justice good.

3. Religion: try to fine out if being a christian, muslim or traditional worshiper affects the perception of people towards jungle justice. A traditionalist may most likely accept jungle justice than a christian and muslim.

4. Victims of criminal activities: look for victims and non victims of robbery and other social vices to find out their own perceptions. A victim may likely concur to jungle justice than non victims.

5. A "force" man: you may also want to check the perception of a military(army) man against a police man.

6. Consider gender too: how do men feel about it as against women. Women are known to be too emotional and too sympathetic so they may not like it.

7. Drug addits: does being or not being a drug addict have any effect on how people view jungle justice?

This is the much i can think out now. You need to build a "questionaire" to help you gather the data. Good luck.

Lol.

But you made some crystal points.

Who will want to bring the funds in a fundraiser event again? Buhari dey watch them. Lol.

Imagine just emerging from a 'tight' recession and growing the foreign reserve to over $47billion and with infrastructural projects across the length and breadth of the country.

The same foreign reserve that was less than $30billion even after a very lengthy period of oil boom.
thats why i tell people to stop arguing about voting or not voting Buhari, because as it stands today nobody can unseat him. When they begin his campaign we will see that nobody will rival him.
Politics › Re: PDP National Headquarters: Where Did The Monies Go To? by iHart(m): 11:28pm On May 10, 2018
I sometimes ask myself if PDP can be able to raise the kind of fund they raised for GEJ reelection again. After raising about 21billion, GEJ failed. This time they need to raise over 30billion to come close to beating Buhari! Who will even raise the money? Is it those who have there names in the looter's list? I can see Buhari running unopposed!

It would be ridiculously Stupid to shut down a Production line just because of one corrupt staff, what about other staff's job at the production line? And genuine sick individuals who may need the so called codene. if one staff is corrupt investigate and sack him if guilty. case resolved.
the same thing applies to a product. if its not good, deregister it. Simple!

N5000 for a minimum of 20 people? Are you dead sure you can organize a training of such magnitude in those big cities on minimum of N100k budget? Rethink well or you will count your losses except you have reliable sponsors.
Yes, we had that in mind. We expected people from neighbouring states to show up on the selected cities to be able to handle the cost but they said they can't make it so we are working on other modalities. actually, the initial aim was not to make money. It was about passing the knowledge and building a network. However with the number that showed up, we couldn't make it to avoid loss. In Abuja, we got a free place but the turnover was poor. However serious and interested persons are visiting for personal training . Thank you for making this observation.

The guy just condemned his career for a paltry 100k. Just google his name on the net and what pops up is this fraudulent incident. No company or employer of labour will even employ him because most companies run a check on their prospective employees on the internet to know if they've ever been involved in fraudulent or criminal acts. This act has rendered him unemployable.
what if he becomes an employer of labour?

People are even using this forum to advertise their work. They take time to write stuffs with long tail keywords. You think they are advertising for people here, but they are actually targeting people who go to google. When you search for something on google, it brings the article they have here up, you open and contact them. Another way of advertising...

I want to advice you op, just stick with the guy who you had dealings with. Leave out the parents and siblings out of this. You may have to even pay dearly for bringing there name and picture into this. Just pray his family are too ignorant to take up this. Thats my humble advice.

wtf is wrong with you?

You have been insensitive of op's plight. Are you related to the scammer?

so because people are scammed millions and they moved on, makes it right?

How is op disturbing the internet? Is it your internet? Is she using your data?

If you dont have any sensitive thing to type, pls, shove those your fingers inside your boxers and self-service yourself to sleep.

I pray you get scammed of all your life savings oneday, you will then stop being insensitive to other peoples misfortune.
if you have followed my conversation with op you wouldn't have made this comment. I am sensitive to her plight.

I dunno nothing about him

I found his siblings fb
His dads and family pictures

Now I knoe his hometown

I have dropped messages on his dads fb and his sister that their bro/son scammed me

I am not on fb
I had to get one so I can get the info I have
ok, thats interesting. But you should not have started by saying he "scammed" you. You could have started by saying he is owing you (just politely) and from there see their response. But since you have stated scam, they will respond fast if they don't want you to add them in the image tarnishing game smiley

look at it from this point; someone who took loan from the bank, will he come to say his laptop was lost in dreamland?
He didn't even show proof of the items bought which is proof that he didn't buy any.
Also, in business, you don't take loan and come to tell stories. He should be able to anticipate any thing that would happen, it's called RISK!!!

In all, the guy never had intentions to start up shit! he just took advantage of the Nice lady.

its really bad for him to be acting this way. If not for the "betting" lifestyle someone digged out about him, i would've called him to talk to him. Let me suggest, can you step a bit further to reach the parents? If you get them involved, they may want to redeem him.

it seems to be a genuine monicker. please and please oga let him look for loan elsewhere to continue and pay up the nice lady's loan.

Things are not done that way and she is not running a charity organisation.
taking loan from another source to service another loan is even worse. if she knew how far the business went, she can be able to know if her money is truly gone or still going to come out. I remember when i wanted to sell my tablet. My colleague showed interest but he needed to test it for some days before paying. The next day he came to work to tell me that the battery is bad. I thought it was an excuse he wanted to use to dump it back to me but I checked it and it was true. I just took it and fixed the battery and sold it back to him. I didn't go to ask what he did to the tablet that got the battery bad overnight, i just spent small money, fixed it and still sold it to him. Some times we just have to put in extra "effort" to get back at something.

assuming you loaned somebody money to start a drink selling business because you have assessed his plans and see it very viable. Then on his first trip to buy stocks he had accident and lost half of his stock. Seeing this, will ask him to return your money or rather give him another money to make up for his loss and start business? I have done this before and i got everything back.
