Visa isn't too stringent if you meet the criteria (DYOR). It's doable. That way, baby would have citizenship and permanent residence for the parents. Using a stone to kill two birds

It is probably impossible to be honest. The requirements to get a Chilean work visa are too strict except it's a country Chile has relationship with. There's also the issue of the language too. I tried applying before choosing to come study here and couldn't even land interviews but once I was in, it was a completely different story.

Please can you answer the following questions.
How much is your school fees?
How much did you show in your account as pof?
Must you know Spanish before landing a dev job?
How much is monthly cost of living for a very modest guy?
When can one be able to finally bring in his wife and child if he is already married (I got married last year and we are expecting a baby)?
What can you say about the chances of landing a frontend job (React, Vue) in Chile as a an msc student? I have upto 3 years experience in web development.

It’s quite pathetic. But I think it’s only a matter of time before one gets appointment. Another agent was saying 250k.
Note that this is just to get appointment, doesn’t mean any form of assurance of getting the visa.
Plus, when you get to Portugal, you have to look for a job within six months.

I was at vfs Abuja yesterday and I saw agents dragging people to come and pay for appointment. 400k for an appointment and it takes one month or so. Corruption has reached everywhere and everything in this country. Let’s just wait for update on the vfs website

It's 11k euros, you will pay it into a deposit account in Germany. Then when you get into the country, you can withdraw only 900 euros monthly for your upkeep.
They do it to make sure you can fend for your self for one year atleast.

But the Chancenkarte will allow the holders to work at least 20 hours a week (casual work) for their upkeep while they are still searching for their main skilled jobs.
This means that they shouldn’t require a full year POF.
My guess is that maybe they will require 3 months POF in the block account.
The fact is that until they release the official guidelines next month, no one knows for sure.

Can we do something for those that stays in Lagos. Can we schedule a day and go to the Portuguese embassy and get all the required information first hand. I don't want my insurance and police character to expire after 3 months. so we get the date the appointment slot will be open.

i have all documents handy except for my PCC to be authenticated by MOF, i have donr my insurance, CV is updated, flight and accomodation itinerary once I secure my appointment. Employment letter and etc. I'm just fucking waiting for an appointment to be booked...

Yes, it was on VFS website news published on April 23 that the slots for the month of May will be available for booking on April 30, Folks were online to check around that date and they got slots. Visit VFS Global regularly.
