kobe:
Ok, something worth nothing here.
You've just pointed out what's being said all along. What person "A" can connect to, person "B" could give 2 expletives about.
In fact let me liquefy it some more, person "A" might cry while watching Jenna Jameson play a character in "Debbie does Dallas (pornography)" while person "B" a man, cries while watching "007" - hope you get the point.
Ok, true, i should have said if alot of people connect to.

kobe:
No, I did not miss the point, I was only being a yansh all along.

If you are too interested in things you should not be interested in, you could be in danger. You may be causing yourself problems by trying to find out things you don't need to know.

curiousity often times in the human world is unquantifiably beneficial.
Right said the pot to the kettle or is it the other way round
Celebrities › Re: Jennifer Hudson And Simon Cowell by iice(f): 9:57am On Apr 05, 2007
Well i guess Hilary swank's luck is just too much cheesy I think that there is something as oscar-worthy performance. If i totally feel and get a character taken out of the pages of a manuscript/book, portrayed by someone so convincingly, that i can almost connect to certain moments, then i think if an award say oscar - has to be given in support of such portrayal, then yeah it becomes a standard by which to compare other performances.

@kobe, again missed the point but i guess somedays aren't just it
As for the cat thing, it was a metaphor, not something literal.
The cat is amateurish in the human world but not in the animal world.
Celebrities › Re: Jennifer Hudson And Simon Cowell by iice(f): 9:26am On Apr 05, 2007
That went well, should i write a novel detailing everything? undecided Nwayz curiousity killed the cat but you cannot help but speculate? LOL oh well they say cats have nine lives.
Celebrities › Re: Jennifer Hudson And Simon Cowell by iice(f): 8:53am On Apr 05, 2007
The he/she comment was not implying that i thought she was a man. I was talking in general about people who win oscars for acting but never come close to the oscar worthy performance in their remaining works (or future works). Am not in the habit of speculating about the sexual orientation of people, in the end, they are still bloody people.

TV/Movies › Re: Vote For Your Favorite New Tv Drama Series by iice(f): 8:46am On Apr 05, 2007
Lol, its still relatively new well especially if you are not living in the states. Ok i wanted to say Prison break is old but i forgot its only in season 2 or have they entered season 3. Nwayz, certains series have more episodes than others in a season, hence sometimes it seems the show has been on forever. I do get your point though
Health › Re: Any Cure For Car-sickness? by iice(f): 8:36am On Apr 05, 2007
Take motion sickness pills, forgot the name and i don't know if this will work for you but i usually have sweets with me that have some menthol flavor to it, somehow it keeps the queasiness from going into full throttle

Sports › Re: Tennis Is Interesting Again! by iice(f): 8:27am On Apr 05, 2007
@viee
Yeah, it's because of them i even got interested in womens' tennis. They are more known than most US women tennis players. They really are fighters and i so agree because they are African Americans, i like them even better. (so am biased, so skin me) grin grin Abeg make them remove all these other ones from road shocked grin grin

Hah, aside from the William sisters, Lindsey Davenport is a favorite of mine (but seriously overlooked)
Sports › Re: Tennis Is Interesting Again! by iice(f): 8:17am On Apr 05, 2007
Oh goodie, the William sisters are on a roll! Congrats to Venus. Hope she keeps fighting. . .onwards to the top! cheesy
TV/Movies › Re: Vote For Your Favorite New Tv Drama Series by iice(f): 7:55am On Apr 05, 2007
Because it says "new" not old. The options given are series only into either season 2 or 3. 24 is in what season?
Music/Radio › Re: Who's The Best Music Producer? by iice(f): 7:52am On Apr 05, 2007
music producers

Nwayz have always like Timbaland, his beats are not always jive-able but i 'get' him.
Same thing with Pharell, think he's brilliant

Personally, i don't think any is better than the other, they all different, the appeal to the different tastes of people.

Seun:
Let's hope Jennifer Hudson's performance is not a fluke. wink
Thank you jare, win one oscar and never perform like that again, then you wonder how did she/he win the oscar in the first place?

Please Simon is not a cow, he's an honest cow grin grin nwayz i think he probably made that comment to push her to keep pushing herself. Simon's good at that cheesy
Sports › Re: Tennis Is Interesting Again! by iice(f): 7:43am On Apr 05, 2007
@Topic, yeah women's tennis got boring after the Williams kindda faded but thank goodness Serena kicked it up and brought back the life to women's tennis. She should keep flogging them and remain in her rightful place grin ok so am not big on women's tennis just the williams' sisters

Congrats to Federer kiss kiss Men's tennis has always been interesting to me even if Federer keeps winning (so am biased, so shoot me) but all these up and coming players are making things more juicy, now Federer has to prove why he remained number 1 for long. Nothing like a lil struggle coupled with down moments to keep you on your toes or not! grin
