You compare Sweeney Todd to Moulin Rouge? The horror. I made myself sit through Sweeney only for Depp. Another actor and I would have abandoned it halfway through.I didn't really like it. But I swear Moulin Rouge is FANTASTIC. It's absolutely my favourite musical in the world! Ewan Macgregor is its entral character; Kidman only plays his love interest. You don't want to miss that wonderful villain, The Count. You don't want to miss Jim Broadbent's demented, energetic,oscar-winning performance. I know movies, and this movie is genius.I promise you won't be sorry.
