Pardon me if this topic has been over flogged here but as I have never come across any such threads, I thought to open this one. I hope I am in the right section. One of the reasons I don’t find a visit to Nigeria appealing is the lack of things to do while you’re there (or so it seems). After the family obligations of seeing this aunt or that cousin, you are hardly left with time to really explore and enjoy the city (Lagos). Besides catching up with old friends, lost in nostalgic recollections that have been immortalized in our minds, nothing else seems of high significance. We ooh and ahh whenever other countries/cities are mentioned because we have a mark we are dying to leave behind in order to fulfill our personal desires (bungee jumping in Bali – Check!). What can I ooh over in Lagoss? Am I being unrealistic ![]() For the Nigerians living abroad, what do you do when you visit Lagos? Lagosians, what do you do for a good time? Is there ANYTHING exciting to do there besides clubbing?? I am hoping your inputs on this issue will enlighten me better because others like me might think the same. Like any JJC, I switched on my laptop on a mission to discover. Operation ‘Lagos Must Be Fun If Na Lie Make I Go Hug Transformer’. Was I disappointed after my long, exhausting, tedious search? Well, if you are reading this post, it means I am no more and it is now your duty to carry on this mission ![]() Abeg no mind me jare, hehehehehe! As a foodie first and foremost, I had to shortlist the places I need to visit if I come over as well as other places I discovered online. Feel free to add to this list as I am 100% sure very important places have been missed. When will most Nigerian businesses understand the value in investing in a good website? SMH. I have compiled my list based on what I have read and seen. Getting some of these pictures wasn't easy but I thought a visual would also be a good representation to give you an idea of what I have in mind. Before I carry on listing I want to thank the makers of this website http://lostinlagos.com/ for guiding me on this mission Trip advisor http://www.tripadvisor.com/, and Lets go there http://www.lgtnigeria.com/ were also very helpful. I also find another site that looked helpful but haven't had time to explore http://www.dasiko.com/ |
While I'm sure you wrote this brimming with excitement and passion, you failed with your generalisation. Stop dating losers. |
I keep wondering why bad things happen to good people. The poor children with no parents, what will become of them? I cried reading this, its so tragic |
What cracks me up is that 190 expects a sensible response/discussion to his nonsense ![]() |
For 190 to plead nicely, this has to be serious. |
ITS NOT OVA! Tonto fired back at Burna Boy some hours ago ![]() *Taken from Linda Ikeji For those who don't understand why Tonto would Tweet and mention Burna Boy, let me explain. The day Tonto released her two singles, Burna Boy Tweeted that all wack artists deserve death, though he specifically said he wasn't referring to Ms Dike. Well, Tonto apparently didn't believe him, and after watching Burna Boy's fall from the stage at the Headies, the vivacious actress/singer fired back...and in true Tonto Dike fashion, she mentioned his name...hehe! Be very afraid, Mr Novia. Lol. (Just having fun!)

After teasing us with all these pictures, the video is finally out! Here are also some new photos from the video shoot for EME‘s “Sun Mo Mi” which was shot at Club Vegas at Ikeja on Sunday,7th October and 8th October, with the full assemble of the EME crew present - Banky W, Niyola, Skales, Wizkid, Shaydee & DJ Xclusive. The club-themed video was directed by Clarence Peters. As usual, the EME crew famous for flaunting an array of beautiful girls in their videos didn’t fail to disappoint once again. There were cameo appearances by Iceberg, Timaya, Slim, Rico White and a few more. fairygeh: Whats the big deal if the husband helps the wife out in the kichen, serzly i see nothing bad in it,just dat some guys are so rigid n prove so difficult and believe once they marry, dey ve utmost control over their wives like dey dictate n evrything. Its so pathetic that the average nigerian man thinks it is a taboo if he helps his wife in the kitchen they just sit down like bag of cement n expect the wife to cook,do tthe dishes, clean the house and take care of the babies, and later at night, they would want to do again.God help my husband if he tries this with me,ehn, infact m angry.see vex, hahahaha! |
