RomanceRe: Why Do Men Molest women???? by ijebabe: 11:36pm On Oct 04, 2012
I don't expect men guilty of such act to come up and say the truth. That they are sick fvcks who deserve to be stripped and flogged publicly.
Nah, they would rather say that women should stop dressing provocatively and say YES whenever they ask for it.

I am waiting for their response too.
RomanceRe: My Crush Is Crushing Me! What Should I Do? by ijebabe: 11:32pm On Oct 04, 2012
Thats ur mistake, sending love bombs!
If you appear too needy that would put her off. Moderation, my man.
Don't text or call her for a week or more. If she likes you she'll call you.
For the sake of your sanity, prepare for the possibility that nothing may work out between you because of the distance.
Good luck though.

The sixth edition of the annual music platform, Hennessy Artistry is gradually getting to its peak. Last weekend, Hennessy lovers, music fans and celebrities came out in their numbers to be a part of the fun and excitement courtesy Hennessy Cognac.

The first ever performance of the Hennessy Artistry 2012 theme song, “Bartender” brought celebrities of the highest level in the entertainment industry together; with guests including Wizkid, Jide Adenuga, Skales, eLDee, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Steel, Toolz, Audu Maikori, Majid Michel, AY and many more.

Hennessy Artistry 2012 headliners, M.I and Naeto C gave an epic performance of the Hennessy Artistry 2012 theme track “Bartender”.
Also on the audience’s request, M.I drove guests wild as he performed his old hit track; “Anoti” while Naeto C capped it with an electrifying performance of his monster hit “Kini Big Deal” – the encore was well deserved.

“We only aim for the best… we promised fans an amazing time and with the reception Naeto C and I received, I can only say thank you to Hennessy for making this happen.” M.I says.

Supporting acts, 2Face’s protégé DammyKrane performed his hit track, “My Dear” and got the audience cheering loudly. Rave of the moment, Burna Boy also performed two of his hit singles, “Like to Party” and “Bend your Knees” to an ecstatic crowd. Guests also partied all night to DJ Neptune’s powerful mixes.

“We are really grateful to everyone who came out to see M.I and I perform the “Bartender” track for the first time. This is just the tip of the ice berg, Watch out for the Hennessy Artistry train as we will shake up the Federal capital, Abuja next week.” Naeto C says.

Other celeb guest include Flowssick, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, Orezi, Tee A, Gbenro, Ms Jaie, DJ Exclusive, DJ Caise and many others.

And the tour is not over yet. M.I and Naeto C will shut down Abuja this weekend for their second Hennessy Artistry club appearance. The all night event, which will hold at Cubana Nightclub, promises Hennessy fans a memorable experience.

Since Hennessy Artistry was first unveiled in Nigeria in 2007, Hennessy Cognac has maintained its position as Nigeria’s and the world’s leading cognac brand.

Hennessy Artistry has since evolved from a cocktail-mixing contest between renowned bartenders to a DJ battle, and is now an important platform for experimental collaborations between multi-talented artistes. Previous participating entertainers include Ice Prince, Nneka, Sir Shina Peters, Banky W, Eldee, Tiwa Savage, Jesse Jagz, Bez, Mo’Cheddah among others.

Hennessy Artistry is supported by The Beat 99.9FM, Trace Urban Channel 325, BellaNaija.com and Notjustok.com and Spinlet.

Message from Stephanie culled from her blog.

It turned out that a surprise party was arranged, spearheaded by my wonderful husband (heehee!). It was so beautiful because I wasn’t expecting anything, except a night out with him. So when

I saw people arriving with gifts and merriment I was elated. Like everything else that he does, it was perfect! *Thank you, darling*

I am eternally grateful to my loved ones! And like I said at the very beginning of the new month – let’s all keep our minds busy on all that is pure, true, noble, admirable, excellent, lovely, and praiseworthy!

Thank you all for sharing in my joy. Thank you for all your wonderful comments on twitter, facebook, and on this blog. May you find the peace that surpasses all understanding!

And for all the people who made out time to celebrate with me yesterday – you are loved, you are appreciated. God will reward you in His abundance!

God bless!

- Stephanie

Turbocharged: I rest my case b/c I found out that you hv choosen to be her advocate/PR person wtout addressing my comment point by point.
But like I said earlier, if she is actually fighting injustice, she should try as much as possible to desist from using lies, media or no media. Sympathy or no sympathy.
Just my 2 kobo.
Advocate? PR person?
Wrong again!

PoliticsRe: Women In Abuja Are Not Safe – Dorothy Njemanze by ijebabe(op): 3:45pm On Oct 02, 2012
Turbocharged: You don't fight injustice wt lies.
In the first place she said she packed behind the bus, but all these "bossom touching and pushing" happened wtout her friend, who was inside the car, noticing it.
Secondly, she said they were man'o'war and plain clothed policemen, then where did the soldiers come from.
Thirdly, if she believe that by dropping her name can change the situation, why not drive to the station wt them and drop that her name their.
Fourthly, evrybody in Naija believes (s)he is above the law.
Lastly, I dey suspect her. Just suspecting oo!
You can't be more wrong!
The first story was released moments after it happend and I am sure she wasn't in the frame of mind to detail all that happened.
In my second post she offered a more detailed explanation of what happened.
She was been beaten up by 3 men or more if I remember correctly, they didn't act like men of the law and were to eager to pounce on a woman with no sense of shame or decency.
She may have thought her position (whatever it is cos I don't give a fvck) would help her but that didn't save her. So imagine regular people who have no friends in high places to help them!
Like I said earlier, even if she was a prostitute, there was no need for such assault and it's time these set of Nigerians are taught that.
