Feraz: Ouch! cry cry cry
Anyway....what's the next line of comics to debate? Ijebabe, did you say wolverine is coming out this summer? Pls, which wolverine? Then again, I heard of this DC comics game that's gonna be out titled: INJUSTICE
They're like all our Dc superheroes are villains in this game....
Oh wow, I haven't heard of that. I love DC. Their heroes and villains are badass

Mynd_44: She was not female na. That was a male robot acting female
Even in fiction women don't stand a chance. I guess Bumblebee can make up for that lol.

That sound effect for when the autobox transform, I've been trying to get it but found just the scores so far. I want that tone cry

Hehe, yeah they have the coolest machines but they are so chunky and have ugly names like Bonecrusher. Silly sexists.
The autobox have cooler names grin

I was sad when Ironhide got killed. Felt worse when Optimus died tho.
EntertainmentRe: Nerd's Paradise **Debate Thread Chat Room** by ijebabe(mod): 10:44pm On Apr 13, 2013
I think Transformers have got one of the coolest names.

Decepticons
Optimus Prime
Megatron
Autobox
Matrix of leadership

Even the decepticon icon looks better than many superhero/comic icons.
I'm weird, I know...

Larry-Sun:
Thanks a lot for your comments, Ije. You're quite shrewd.

I think 'bellow' and 'viciously' can be used together. The former is a verb, while the latter is its modifier (showing the degree of the action). Or, rather,
viciously is a strong term. I should have used 'furiously'. Hell! I thought I used 'furiously'. sad

You're absolutely right about the use of 'volcano', I agree I stretched the exaggeration a bit thin. I basically used it to create humour though, from the POV of Lucan himself. I've never been in one, but I think I'd have the same thought if I found myself in that kind of blazing building. wink

Bless you.
Shrewd, how? grin

"Come straight to the headquarters immediately. Chief Koko’s body was found dead in a hotel room. Come and tell me what your name and phone number was doing on a piece of paper found near the dead body.”

Lol! Typical Naija ogagrin

Frank you are good. Its like you were in Larry's mind, you picked up so easily from where he left off. Besides some spelling mistakes I enjoyed that.
LiteratureRe: Nairaland Detection Club by ijebabe: 11:49pm On Apr 12, 2013
I just finished reading the first post by Larry and wanted to drop a few before I carried on.

Firstly, Larry I love your sense your humour in that post, I found myself laughing like a goat there.

Second, dude you need to balance the adjectives, amidst my confusion they made me laugh. Maybe I'm wrong but can you use 'bellow' and 'viciously' together? Instead of saying volcano wouldn't inferno had been a better reference? I know as humans we tend to exaggerate in moments of panic but volcano seemed reaching.

There were others but these are what I recall and I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. I may be wrong. I'll go back now to continue reading. This is so exciting!cheesy

The saddest has to be the potato chips and teaspoon of peanut butter. 200 calories in that tiny thing? lol. Damn.
Lol! Exactly why it is depressing. Hopefully in a few years there'll be a miracle pill against fat, till then, its ignorance for me grin

CelebritiesYvonne Nelson’s Nipples Are Offensive? by ijebabe(op): 7:34pm On Apr 12, 2013
What are the odds of an actress getting pissed over a pair of nipples sticking out? Ghanaian hottie Yvonne Nelson is…

The tall, slim beauty had been posting promo shots from her upcoming ‘House of Gold‘ movie on picture sharing website Instagram when she put up a photo of herself with her nipples sticking out…

The photo has currently gathered over a thousand likes and comments seemingly questioning Nelson on why she couldn’t tuck in her ‘headlights’. ‘Epic fail… Nipples r showin ‘, @nancie_hsn wrote. Another fan @lilyofori wrote ‘Dress outstnding, u failed cuz of d nips‘.

Yvonne Nelson, obviously irritated by the comments was quick to respond asking what the big deal was ‘And that’s all you looking at righthuh. Epic failhuh? Reallyhuh U are funny‘.

TV/MoviesRe: My Short Fim Script- THE PLIGHT by ijebabe: 12:55pm On Apr 12, 2013
You gave us this logline – ‘The story revolves around an unemployed, young man who has another chance to change his luck the next day. That is the problem, you didn’t even follow your own logline and ended the script without the ‘twist’ or whatever of him changing his luck the next day. So again, you didn’t think about jack did you? So what was the rush? Fire dey burn for ya kitchen na im you press ‘send’? Or one local-sista come knock for ya door, na im all blood wey dey ya brain rush go south? Or you have gone old skool ‘Nollygoof’ on our a$$e$ and want us to come back for part 5? You and who?
grin grin

VillageBoi: He can write something totally cliche, totally predictable and it could be amazing... But totally boring is a no, no,no!
Cliche is not always bad, how many movies on romance are out there already. The script was too safe and maybe a story on how all those guys came to be at that interview that day would have made it more interesting somehow link it to turning his luck around? I dunno but I found it very safe.
