Moral of the Lesson: Even if your oga pays your children's school fees, retain your integrity and be upstanding. Your career will not start and end with your oga. There will be life after that Oga....ask Barth Nnaji, ask Adesina, ask Fashola. Mr Social Media...you confused loyalty with integrity....no be the same. |

I don't think they understand....Na this epilogue for give us light (my generator de shout here)? Na this epilogue go strengthen Naira? na this epilogue go redistribute Income so that Number of Private Jets will no longer be used as an index of economic growth? Na this epilogue go create jobs so the youths in my area can abandon betting shops? na this epilogue go allow me go visit my cousins for North without fear? Abeg dress....we don tire....dress... |
The Girl has remarried and moved on.....The Case is closed......Just like this thread should be closed. |
The Four Star General who fought to keep Nigeria one before most posters on NL were born? The detribalized Nigerian who believes Presidents should rule with everyones interest represented regardless of tribe or religion?, the same man who risked his life to meet with Boko Haram chieftains in an attempt to broker peace? The same OBJ who essentially was the "last man standing" at the end of the civil war? The first Military ruler to willingly handover to a Civilian president? The same OBJ who insisted that the South South must be given a chance to rule and chastised the Yaradua apologists for holding on to power instead of handing over to GEJ? I guess all the above is irrelevant; If Gbenga says his Dad banged his wife then that's what we should focus on.....yawn....!!!! |
I must be missing something with all these comments....Bomb Blasts now evoke jokes and idle banter with Nigerians? The inner soul of the average Nigerian has been hardened and desensitized. |
Nigeria will remain one. We will vote and swear in the winner in May. NO MORE 2015 BREAK UP PREDICTIONS |
There is no longer an aspect of life in Nigeria that is sacred and respected. Politicians are now using religious leaders, military officers, elder statesmen and diplomatic envoys as errand boys. The only thing that is sacred now is Cash; I give you dollars and I take your soul...deal? |
So much anger and venom on NL these days. Relax small biko. Meanwhile una don chop? What is oga looking at with the widow in blue? |
Unfortunately a lot of posters on NL do not understand that evil can not be cured by evil. True soldiers dont film war crimes and post on youtube...thats what crazy insurgents do. Our soldiers should do what they need to do but keep it off social media. Na small quarrel de start big war o! |
Chaii....must oga attend every interview? Dont we have a Minister of foreign affairs? You can make many enemies and survive but dont piss off the USA |
Logicalmind:Wow, i'm so humbled by your intelligence and wisdom |
cheaper than aunty stella Oduahs cars |
omenka:LMAO!!!!!! |
Why is MBU's phone not ringing now with a voice saying "AIG, this is the commander-in-chief; what is this I'm hearing about you threatening jungle justice if any of your men are killed?" |
Social Media Smear Strategy 101 - 1st Stop Smoking Weed 2nd - Find small Sense 3rd - Don't assume all NLanders are retarded 4th - Be creative with your lies. 5th - don't post fairytales that can be discredited with a single google search. 6th - Find small sense. |
Dr Okupe - Winston Churchill once said you will never reach your destination if you stop to challenge every dog that barks at you on your journey. Be strategic in your actions and stop the "gra gra". I'm not a fan of Linda Ikeji but she is probably one of the biggest bloggers of her generation in Nigeria (and indeed Africa). At this time of attempting to gather youth votes, you want to sue one of youth icons and lose more youth votes Think before acting sir...think strategic...think long term. |
RedArrow:Spoken with maturity... |
Here are some highlights of military activity from 2014:

The Pharmacist ....well done. |

LOL....you posters wan kill person with laughter |
Bitter/Sweet........Shame that a mound of corpses is described as "lovely" - the milk of compassion has been wiped out of our hearts by this terrorist BH killers. God have mercy on us. |
After six years in power and access to Billions of USD...what more does a man need? If na me, I for don handover to Sambo to run and enter my PJ go relax for Miami with Mama Peace and entourage. GEJ would have been celebrated and probably become one of Nigeria's most celebrated Presidents...but with this approach....anyway, make we de look am. |
njuwo:Haba OP...so what kind of Education is available here? Eastern?? Our National Language is English and our education is western. |
Close the schools before the pastors unleash the gates of hell on them |
Our candidates should be mature and compromise as follows: 1. If PDP can tell us where the $20bn is then GMB should show his WASC certificate 2. If PDP can give us Power as promised then Buhari should debate 3. If PDP can tell us where 200 schoolgirls are , Buhari should resign. Orchestrated Debates are a waste of energy on small issues when there are BIG problems to be resolved. |
brownlord:Anyone who says APC is a party of saints is fooling himself; No party in the world is full of saints... Thats not my point. Forget grammar and analysis on social media and chat rooms and just pound the streets and engage with the man on the streets; people are genuinely tired. Your views on water provision is interesting but there is a lack of understanding of how the three levels of government (starting with Federal, then state, then local govt) are supposed to work together to provide water and other amenities. The waterboards and purification plants are impotent without POWER - which is Federal's responsibility. Please try to walk over to your water corporation and speak to the engineers...you'll have a better understanding of the issues. and Oga - not everyone who shares an opinion on Nairaland is a PR agent... but believe what you choose. We can debate till kingdom come but the Nigerian masses will decide. Make i go find food for my family abeg... |
sanmibukunmi:You're perfectly right sir...i dont get it. |
Some People don't understand that most Nigerians are just tired...nobody cares about the lastminute slash in petrol prices, or WASC qualifications debate or Channels debate. Majority of Nigerians (including myself who voted Umbrella and personally wore GEJ t_shirts in 2011) have given up on all this petty mudslinging.....sometimes it feels like a local govt chairman election not a Presidential one. PDP has had 15 years to completely transform Nigeria...but this morning alone, residents in my complex have spent N60k already on buying diesel, petrol and tanker of water. We also pay for our own security as the police are not equipped to protect us. My savings in Naira is under pressure as the FGN has no reserves to battle devaluation. I frankly don't see how the next four years will be suddenly different. Madness is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a new result. Lets do something different this time. |
Our President talks to us like we are in Primary 6. |
while igbos are flat.
Think before acting sir...think strategic...think long term.
