LORDI:Oga are you joking or are you serious?? are you trying to justify abusing babies? what is wrong with some people on this Nairaland? If you are trying to justify this evil on a harmless child then you need redemption. I cant believe you are trying to justify this. You are truly confused if you believe that ANYTHING can justify abusing that baby. Honestly...I've never read a more useless post than yours and you should bury your head in shame for trying to defend the indefensible!! Trying to make a case for insanity and evil does not work with normal human beings. Check yourself. 2 Likes |

I sat next to a man and his young son (no more than 10 years old) on a flight once. When the stewardess came round, i overheard the boy ask for a coke and the stewardess brought out a Pepsi..the boy insisted on Coke and when the hostess said they didnt have it he asked for water. I was facsinated and asked him why he doesnt like Pepsi ,,he just shrugged and said "it doesnt taste right"; His father smiled and whispered to me that he was a VP at Coca-Cola.... Thats a good son....this samsung woman is an "alakoba"!! 288 Likes 20 Shares |

OP - it is better to say "all Nairalanders have an IQ of a peanut" than to post this useless home video and expect anyone who has finished primary 2 to believe this silly hoax. How many criminals will record their crimes on a phone and post on youtube? |

I don't understand what can be gained from this Photoshop attempt. Such actions don't develop you as an artist..rather they will destroy your wonderful talent. Who wants to buy anything from a fraud? |

Joe88: Nice drawings! I am particularly fascinated with your attention to details, its fantastic. But can you make a portrait without grid (the lines running across the pictures), if not, you should consider trying a portrait without grid lines. A live model might be before you waiting to be drawn and I am sure you wouldn't put lines on his/her face. Best comment so far. The gridlines (also called painting by numbers) gave me some concern. Yes these are good sketches but OP must develop the ability to draw "free flow" rather than the elementary gridline approach. Well done though, the raw talent is there but needs some polish. |

Interesting....almost everything listed here applies to the Japanese...including the prostrating custom in some regions. It Japan its called Dogeza. In Europe, i havent met a louder bunch of people than the Italians. You cant hear yourself in a traditional Italian restaurant. My advise to everyone is to travel and interact with other cultures...you will soon realise that we have more things in common with other nations than you think. Free yourself from mental slavery. 11 Likes |

Haba - an uneducated Chad Nomad is being quoted in such perfect English? Something doesnt add up On another point - shame that 40% of ikoyi houses are empty - acquired out of greed and ego. |

NaLaugh: You're right. Sadly Nigeria celebrates "Cut and Paste" champions. Stealing is not only about physical theft. Intellectual Property theft is also a crime. OP...try and recognise other peoples IP ...Biko!!!! 1 Like |

This is a great thread sir. Well done! I've just received an estimate for a two wing semi detached in chevron area and the boq for foundation alone is coming up at about 6m. Does this sound reasonable? Also what's a reasonable estimate for erecting a two wing semi detached in chevron area up to carcass and roof level. That is all basic doors and windows fitted and roof in place with internal and external plastering but no flooring, tiles ,kitchen or sanitary wares. Please advise. |

And we will say westerners are racist? The title of this thread is so backward and racist - so......some chic married some dude and he happened to be caucasian...where's the glory?....where's the story? Only villagers who have never interacted with the outside world will use the words "White Man" in a houseboy tone. 2 Likes |

I love the way everyone becomes an intellectual genius on Nairaland. We argue and debate politics, crime, economy, relationship topics for 24hrs with passion and sometimes with so much passion and venom that you start to worry that some Users will track your ISP details and send assassins after you. But with everything else in Nigeria, we forget....we move on....we leave issues and debates unresolved. The ALUU 4 was one I thought wouldn't die down (amongst others) but sadly - I'm not sure Justice has been served. So what's the update on: 1. ALUU 4 2. Farouka Lawan (aka Dollar Hat man) 3. Oil Subsidy probe 4. Banking Failure probe 5. Bankole corruption probe 6. Coscharis/Uba Scandal 7. Dana negligence investigation 8. Associated Airlines negligence investigation ![]() ![]() ![]() 1 Like |

Clearly an inability to customize their business plan to suit the Nigerian environment. Most likely, the biggest operational cost came from their massive retail space at the Palms (which is the most expensive retail mall space per square ft. in Africa) with outrageous service charges (diesel etc). They insisted on being in a pre-fab fancy mall rather than lease a stand alone structure for a fraction of the price. When in Nigeria, be ready to adjust your model to suit the operating environment. 2 Likes |
