hello,I tried giving him d mashed adult food,bt when he want to swallow it,it will be as if d food is choking him,then I will give him water and it will go down,I made d food vry soft and I mashed it before I give him,so I dnt knw why he was choking on d food

Blend d food so it will look lyk pap.my son chokes even on biscuits d only snack I give him is cheese balls every other food is blended.

As for change of cream, u cld try using c.oil alone bt in small quantity

Try tribotan like Ijeoma said,(baby tribotan,its diffrnt frm adult tribotan) or Agnesia antiseptic dusting powder for babies too.

Moms nd Dads please I need your help oooo,all of a sudden my eleven months old started having diaper rash,(wondering what could be the cause )tho sudocream is clearing it.
The main ish is the funny looking rash,thats like mosquito bites on his body ie arm nd d sides of thighs.sudocream isn't working ,pls what can I use?
Also want to change his cream,was using ori+c.oil b4 .
Need to change it because of d weather,he can sweat for Africa.
PS,i don't think d rash is mosquito bite cos he sleeps in mosquito net.

When next you go to FMC, insist that you want to see a paed and not just a general doc. from your answer, i can comfortably tell you that your baby is fine, she just need help on her motor skills. i think this is the time you need to devout much time to her during the day. although her weight at 13 months is poor and since she is not interested in taking the pap, you can give her the adult food she so much want. i do not know much about variety of adult food that can be given to a baby at that age. maybe mothers inhere could be of help in that area. ALSO DO NOT FORCE-FEED HER, it will affect her psychology when its time to eat always.

practice the sitting technique i gave u often, always place her on her tummy ( this will encourage/stimulate crawling and dont do this on a hard floor) and also get her a baby walker to assist her leg muscles to hasten standing standing-up and walking later on. you can also watch some physical therapy videos on you-tube. this will assist you on how to go about it.

In all, try to see a pead and NOT a general practitioner and most importantly devout more time for her to help with her motor skills.

Thank you plenty,too add to d adult food ish,my son prefers it too.he takes cereal in little quantity. U can make normal rice nd beans den blend roughly ie not smooth also experiment with different combinations(carbs nd protein).don't worry dear all dis will turn to a tale soon.e-hugs.

I mean' i give my baby who will be 3 month old this week 0.6ml Abidec and 0.6ml Bcomplex(as against 5ml dosage stated on d bottle). I've been giving him daily from birth.

I tot abidec is 0.3 until a yr.

Deer are diff 4month+ cereals in eg cow nd gate porridge etc or u can " do it ursef" eg mash banana or avocado.u can also give him blended Irish potatoes or sweet potatoes mixed with milk. Visit www.wholesomebabyfood.com d ones I mentioned re safe for 4 months.

I just stumbled on this as you didn't 'mention' my handle properly, so I wasn't notified and I don't come on here often as I see that we have very experienced mothers giving out advise and suggestions. Kudos to you all.

What is your baby Genotype? I could have suspected IUGR but I ruled it out since you said she was born healthy and full of life. I also ruled out neurological disorders like palsy because the motor development isn't extremely delayed. There are 2 factors I 'suspect' low muscle tone or improper handling/training. Babies do not develop equally and don't compare your baby with others. I will take time to break this 2 factors down for you.

Some babies suffer poor muscle distribution and thus, it takes more time for them to do some activities/actions like crawling or sitting down.

Second one is related to the first factor which is handling/training. Our doctors are seriously stressed and it takes chance and grace to get one to properly access you when you need a special attention, this was why they and the nurses were quick to throw shade at you when they see your baby( I stood by your words that your baby is well fed). Because they could have properly sit you down and explain to you how you could aid your baby to start on his motor skills. It is clear here that its taking time for him to reach one of the important mile stone which is sitting, by now, your baby should have gone past sitting 6 months behind!. There are some sitting practices our elderly mothers train babies with( like sitting him down in a carton of indomie and supporting his back with clothes or foam). Do this like 4 or 5 times in a day and don't leave him unmonitored. After he has crossed that sitting stage( this shouldn't take long before he starts sitting, say 1 month), the next is to put him on a walker. BUT if he doesn't sit with this method within 1 month, then he need a neurologist and not a paed

Go and check her weight first and compare it to the percentile charts for her age. People generally like fat chubby babies in Nigeria so make sure it's below medical average first.
The sizing of cloths are also off sometimes do it's not the best benchmark

So true.as long as her weight is OK nd shes healthy den no problem.some babies are naturally slim, just like me

You did the right thing,as i said you have plenty of liver.It's fantastic that you took your own future into your hands abeg. I've always known i'm AA but one week before my wedding the church said we should carry out tests.
I went confidently with DH,only for the result to come out as AS.I nearly collapsed oo!DH is AA so nothing to worry about but i was sooo flabbergasted because i've always known and been told i'm AA. Anyways,redid the test some months later and it was AA.
If DH was AS and that test showed AS,we would have probably jumped into River Niger together(as in romance )..

Meanwhile my face front resolve is being sorely tested by my MIL.I have totally withdrawn from everyone and just do polite and respectful with no extras. After she cursed me out,i have been cool.I do not go into detail about anything pertaining me at all and call like once in 2 weeks.I just make sure hubby does his part very well.It is totally unlike me that is always sooo friendly,asking everyone how far and keeping in touch.
Remember i always used to get along with her,took her like my mother,she even wears my clothes etc.
I'm a person who is fiercely loyal and i love with everything in me.I can't do half and half.It's either i love you,i hate you,or i ignore you.When she calls and we talk,i feel my like/love for her surging back and i just want to gist normally but somehow my mind keeps screaming Judas Judas Judas.

I'm wondering if her overtures are genuine or she wants something from me as usual.Christmas is around the corner and she knows her son is too busy to do anything meaningful.I'm the one who gives fashion advise,i'm the one who buys funky shoes,The extra quid she needs,i make sure she gets it etc.

How do i deal with this?I know she will always side her kids and will betray again(maybe more subtly next time).When i think back to what she did,i don't feel that hurt or angry again.How do I continue face front with her?She's trYing to wear me down oooooo with endless calls and talking like i matter.
