I was craving for ogbono soup so I decided to go to the market to buy the ingredients, getting home to start preparing the soup,lo n behold the meat I bought was missing,it seems I forgot it where I bought it,chei! Don't know whether to cry or laugh & I was really hungry, I cooked the soup like dat o but went to bed without eating anything, twas so painful . Thanks for ur prompt response. She feeds repeatedly and always wants to feed more.Sometimes at a stretch we may sit for 2hrs feeding her after each burp.And wen I express the milk the flow is much.So I think she is getting enough just that I don't know why the weight is dragging

Express nd feed her with a feeding bottle so u can c how much she takes,maybe she's nt latching well

hello mamas... had my baby boy 6.15am 14th February 2014.he weighed 3.7kg after going thru labour for 18hrs..I now know y it is called labour..chei! the tear no b here o!!!

birth story...
started feeling the menstrual cramps and back pain around 9:50am 13/02/2014..got to the hospital around 4pm and when I was checked, I was 2cm dilated with very strong contraction and bulky uterus. meanwhile I hadnt seen any show or water.I was admitted
part 2: contractions continued and I was checked again at 11pm. the doctor said I had gone 6cm.I was feeling good with myself thinking I was progressing fast.
Few minutes after I saw the show and that was when d whole labour started..

Hello mommas. Pls my son had a serious bout of diarrohoe(sp?) And vomitting which got us admitted in d hosp and is getting better now thankfully. Thing is, he's still not eating well and hates ORT. We were given zinc tabs, emtrim syrup and clotoximazole(sp?) Tabs. Is it ok if I give him a syrup that contains blood tonic, zinc and bcomplex for d appetite? And pls how else can I help him replace fluids? P.S he sucks well. P.P.S he's 11mnths old

I'll say listen to your dr. Except you don't have confidence in him, then change him.

With regards to your son, have you tried increasing the portions? Did he resist? Try and stretch the time he has in btw feeds, it might make him eat more. You can start by making it 3.5 hrs, then 4 hrs, then 4.5. Give him a light snack like yoghurt or biscuit in btw but not a full meal.

Also try and put him on a consistent routine if you haven't already (whereby you feed him at the same time everyday)

Thanks everyone, his on a routine already and once its meal time and I don't feed him, he becomes rily cranky.
I've tried to increase it but he throws up after taking extra.he doest even lyk snack sef just cheese ball and his favorite drink is water.
Kaffybill I've not dewormed at all.I think I will just let him be, but its not easy feeding him up to 5- 6 tyms daily

My a year old son is still eating in bits (every 3 hours), d size of his food hasn't increased.though his weight and size is very OK.I've bin old to deworm him by some mums but d doctor doesn't believe in dat school of thought.
Should I go ahead and deworm?

Its well, but you ve to keep trying,still u find out what he likes.try yam or sweet potato mixed with carrots.

His blender broke down sef ,so I'm using d main blender.
Wash it well and soak in water for some minutes before u use.
I started giving mine cheese balls around 9 months( not plenty sha) dats d only way I can keep him busy when we go out .
Pls who can recommend a healthy snack DAT melts like cheese balls
