TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ijiimmayi: 6:05pm On Feb 17, 2019
Now let me shock you guys again. Their was one interview I went wen I came newly. I met this guy Nd he was busy telling me that he does employment visa for people Nd all that. I was like wtf. Nd u are here doing interview with me. Unfortunately he wasn’t chosen for d job. So we exchanged numbers. This guy kept on sending me employment job opportunities to give people that he wil do it for them. Nd he stil ask me to be checking if any company is looking for workers so dat he can apply. So one day I got tired of his employment stuff Nd then ask him y don’t he tell those his employment people to employ him since he is jobless. He said not really just that they want people that are not in Dubai. I laughed Nd laughed Nd don’t even know wen I blocked him hahahahaha
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ijiimmayi: 6:01pm On Feb 17, 2019
He better not oh. Why selling land to come here. Agents are not smiling. Go to baniyas square Nd u will see all of them they don’t hv job but they are giving jobs
Sicilyjoe:
U mean it, there is one navy guy I know who want to come there since last year, I hope is not the same navy guy because the last time I discuss with him he wanted to sell his land for it, I hope is not him because wasting this big amount is not easy to forget
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ijiimmayi: 2:11pm On Feb 17, 2019
Yea but he wasn’t able to get any job cos the agent disappeared. So he went back to naija with a vow of killing the agent if he sees him
Sicilyjoe:
Like I always said Dubai is better experience than trying to explain to the intending new comers, please is the navy guy a new comer too ?
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ijiimmayi: 11:20am On Feb 17, 2019
I want to sound this as a big warning to all intending travellers. Please and please stop trusting your agent. All I keep hearing is that my agent this my agent that. No agent has any company nor work here. If he do hv any good work u think he won’t grab d job Nd start working? Come with ur tourist visa Nd don’t believe any promise Nd come Nd try ur luck. I was in tears yesterday I went to hv a hair cut in naija salon Nd guys were talking about there experience. Imagine someone that is comfortable in his own shop Nd car war cajoled into selling his car Nd closing his shop to come Nd work in Dubai. Took 880k from him for three months visa Nd flight Nd promise he wil start work on arrival. But he came Nd didn’t see anything. He was strong Enugu to get himself a petty job which he stil paid agent to get. Three guys including a navy guy was scammed 1.5m each for three months visa with d promise of earning 600k as salary. Just imagine. And the worse is that it took close to 5months for d three months visa to come out Nd yet this scammer didn’t give dem any job. One has gone back to naija. People get mind sha. Now back to my advise. If you are earning 70k in naija please Nd plz don’t quit ur job Nd start coming here. I beg you. Don’t mind all the Facebook pix u see. It’s not all as it seems. But if u are strong enuf Nd won’t start regretting after a month here then carry ur bag Nd foodstuff Nd come Nd join. STOP ALL THIS MY AGENT SAY THIS AND THAT
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ijiimmayi: 9:24am On Jan 26, 2019
Firstly our FBI lady. Really dont know how u get ur info but I benefitted from nonnyG,natty and justi advise on this forum. I actually took my time to go through his testimony many times wen I was stil in naija. So it’s unfair calling him out like that. Then to my intending uae travellers. Yes if we ask u not to come u wil feel we don’t want u to come. Truly speaking it’s not easy at all. If you have a job back home that pays your bills , plz I beg you to remain and manage. But if u feel u have the mind to take risk then embark on this journey. But be proud of whatever outcome u see. Not coming here to stil blame people. It’s not easy here. Especially for Nigerians. By the time u go for like 6 interviews and they said they don’t need Nigerians. Let me stop here. Feeling bad already
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ijiimmayi: 7:49pm On Jan 25, 2019
152k Nd he wants to quit. Nd na Dubai en wan come. Plz put ur friend in serious prayer oh
Austinekg:
Dear Nairalanders,
I need your honest advice, my junior colleague in the office is contemplating leaving his job to UAE to seek greener pasture. I have strongly advise him to work for more years to save enough fund and then look in the direction of Canada or other Europe countries. But he's just adamant. His net pay currently is over N152k but I'm suspecting he his being brainwashed heavily. He's a young man of just 27; just that he become a chartered accountant at an early age. I really don't know if he's making an assumption that he will get an accounting or finance role in UAE with his ICAN certificate. I pity for am, when he eye go clear, him go be like person wey one chance juju clear for him eyes. For those in UAE already, what do you guys think or have to say in this regards so that I can show him the response of those already there speaking with experience.

Regards,
Awaiting everyone response.

That doesn’t mean genuine company doesn’t charge money so don’t get it twisted. Once they are legit company I hv nothing to worry about. Just pay the cash. Just an advise. I paid 2500 during mine and it has been refunded after six months. It’s just a security deposit cheers
oduzbaba89:

If this lady catch u she don hammer oh. Be careful how u take people’s pix here in uae.
haniejay:
When you see them , you know them. They would rent big office spaces , dem will pretend to be big companies but they’re huge fraudsters . I’m on 8th interview and they’re all fraudsters! That is the receiptionist . A Nigerian lady collided with the Filipinos to scam young black African seeking jobs in the uae . I Saw over 24 Nigerians there waiting to be interviewed. She say make I pay security deposit of 2,500 and then pay for my employment visa which is 8,000. I smiled and said God will help me and I walked out . Bro , it’s not easy! They will tell you no Africans when you call for interview and they here you’re African . They hang up! I have more the 2 months left in my job search . Anyone with link abeg ! I have several online and walk in interviews I’m still doing though , one day one day e go just better ! God job with real company go come my way ! Spent about 9 days in the uae now ! I have got 81 days left to get a job ! It’s very nice country but na God dey help person
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ijiimmayi: 4:52am On Dec 20, 2018
Let me use my experience for a example. I was charged 4K dirhams for a three months visa by a very very close friend. He asked me to budget 1200dirhams for agent fee and that I wil start work d second day I come. I made provisions for all the cash but I used it to pay for Sira. I can comfortably tell u that I hv not seen that my friend who did visa for me ever since I came to Dubai. Na just chat lolz. Believe in yourself and don’t be lazy. You need enough money for your transportation cos that the most important thing. U can budget 830dirhams and subscribe for 90days bus and metro card unlimited which u wil use to go anywhere in Dubai. Or do wkly pass or monthly pass. Thanks.
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ijiimmayi: 4:45am On Dec 20, 2018
Nonny G your experience and story is a good one and u were one of the guys that motivated me. But bro. It’s really getting worse now. One Kenyan lady told me that he admires Nigerians smartness but that the sins of our brothers is now affecting us. I really felt bad but she was right. Our spoken English is cleared heard but yet employers wil choose to employ any other nationality just to have a peace of mind. People sale their only. Asset to come here with the high hopes the agent or their friend that wants to eat their money gave dem. Personally I was told I wil start work the second day wen I come to Uae lolz. But I never believed in any of those promises. I had plan A to Z. I trekked under hot sun soaked in my sweat but I thank God for where I am now. Night G is easier for us with uae experience to get another job but for freshers. It takes grace even wen they know u are better than others but ur country name wil screen u out. Please let’s be a good ambassador of this country Nigeria. Help our brothers without thinking about this agent fee always. I encourage all the intending travelers and those searching for job. Walk in to that office and ask if they are recruiting. Dress smart and look good. Don’t let anyone see u are frustrated from ur dressing or looks. And I promise you that u wil be surprise of wat u wil get. Good morning everyone
NONNYG:
I don’t like sharing my Dubai experience cos it was a pathetic one; but let me brief about it for those who think I’m hyping UAE.

I came to Dubai during Ramadan period when job was scare and the sun was hot enough to boil beans, the weather at 7am is like that of 1pm in the northern part of Nigeria, my 1st 3 nights in Dubai, I slept on the floor in a bedspace of about 20 people, when I got a better bedspace through a nairalander; (may God continue to bless him). After one month I couldn’t pay for bedspace and I was chased out with all my belongings, I was homeless for some days , I wouldn’t mention where I was sleeping, until the same nairalander pleaded with the owner of the bedspace to allow me sleep on the same bed with him while I pay little money monthly (200aed), that was how both of us were sleeping on one bed (upper bed) for 2 months, my family were sending money to me from Nigeria, then I could hardly sleep at night yet I was determined never to give up, that was how I was surviving till I got a job after 3 months and 5 days.

Now from grass to grace
Then my company accommodation wasn’t ready so I was lodged in a hotel for 3 months together with other employees, also the cafeteria wasn’t ready and we were been paid additional 1000aed for feeding. This can only be God cos His grace found me.

UAE is not easy but with God & hardwork, you will succeed
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ijiimmayi: 6:02pm On Dec 19, 2018
Lolz u get bad mouth but yet u speak the truth. Let’s tell people how it is here for we Nigerians her Nd let them make choice. Yes their is job but is it for Nigerians? Oma u wil surely get. Nd ourr brothers and sisters wey get work the collect agent fee add to the one the main agent go charge. It’s well
manneger2:
call it shit or whatever, people should know how things is here, no high hope, I remember everybody saying there is job for female for that matter, no be this uae wey we dey when we know truely female job is scarce, thereby exposing girls to prostitution just to survive. oma500 for u to come out here and speak means u don't wat to join those band wagon, and pray God help u out, and if I see a good job that will do visa for u I will let u know.
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ijiimmayi: 7:52pm On Dec 18, 2018
Let’s tell this people d truth oh plz. If u coming. Plz come prepared oh. Especially in terms of finance plz I beg all freshers. It’s not easy but once u land a job it’ wil be worth it.
NIGHTLIFE100:
This is so so wrong, you can get a job with 1 week left on your visa. Government companies like NCTH/ADNH will process your visa under 5days I’ve seen several cases and this type of advice is bad. Run from people like this
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ijiimmayi: 5:18am On Dec 18, 2018
Nonny G I quite agree with this guy sha. Everyday at baniyas square and union and see hundreds of our brothers and sisters going about looking for job. And any good job they see wil say they don’t need Nigerians. We are left with just cleaning and other little Jobs. And please I urge all Nigerians in big places to keep representing us well. Cos our name don d cast for here too much. Their is job in uae but Nigerian mostly are not really favored but with grace we always conquer. Though some companies ask for people with more than a month visa to apply I hv withness it many times
Sicilyjoe:
With one month remaining in ur visa, I doubt if u will see a company that will agree to process ur employment visa and emirates I'd card, should in case u failed to get it, only three options left for u before ur visa expires, 1, you go for visa change at Oman if u still have enough money with u
2, stay illegal and work with out valid papers, is risk and it comes with penalty if u are caught
3, return to Nigeria with ur returning ticket and u must exit before the 90 days elapsed that's is 87 days to avoid paying for over stay penalty at the airport , good luck
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Ijiimmayi: 11:01am On Dec 14, 2018
Sorry to say this bro. I don’t think this guy found you a good job. Maybe na construction work en find for you and wants you to book ticket so that their wil be no going back for you. Na wah oh.

I had a chat with the agent that hold my passport and this is the screenshot..

I greet everyone. I really want to chip in something. Asking people not to come to uae cos of your horrible experience isn’t fair. Fine it’s good to tell them wat they are going to face but don’t discourage them. In uae most time other African countries are even preferred than Nigerians cos they believe we have too much problem. I remembered wen I was planning to come to Uae. My set then here. @taofeekboy,nijaonfire and others. But today we all have a good job in Uae. Of course it wil not be easy but be determined. Come prepared both financially and God wil crown your success. Thanks all

Do not waste your cash. First when u reach airport terminal 2 . Locate a taxi and ask him to drop u at Dubai airport freezing metro station or Abu Hail metro station. It wil cost u about 15dhs. Then Wen u get to the metro station. Ask the station agent to give u Nol card cost 25dhs. Which has a balance of 19dhs. Then recharge extra 20dhs on the card. Take metro to aghubaiba metro station. Wen u get there ask them of bus going to Abu Dhabi. They wil charge u 25dhs in the bus from your nol card. Wen u get to Abu Dhabi. U can use taxi to locate ur Bedspace. Atleast this wil cost u below 100dhs in all. My advice though

Please noting like good heart here, Lionlee does not own those phone with IBL, also I do not own the the own the iPhone 8 with him. Those stuffs with IBL has my name on it, addressed to me and I have fully paid for it. Samuel on his own chose to buy the phone because he trusted the seller in his own mind, he made this decision himself upon realizing the phone was different from what I asked him to pick but just like he said, he trusted the seller Coz they appear cool and also Nigerians.
As far as this issues is concerned, it's not difficult to see that the issue of iPhone 8 was closed immediately Samuel bought the phone for 250.
This isn't about just money, for those saying same can't take loss, am i suppose to pay for his mistakes with my integrity, time and money ?
So, I'm sorry, if there anything we can both sit as man to man to settle, fine... But phone can't be returned because they belong to me and I have fully paid for it right from the first day. Good morning

N.B... For those saying I should take a loss because he picks and it might be the end of my business with him... Lol... You don't know me. If he chose not to pick for me anymore, it changes noting ! That won't make me accept what he's about to do, what is not right is not right. I have attached enough screen munch to help us disgest this better.
