Police bar Amaechi from Govt House - BY JIMITOTA ONOYUME PORT HARCOURT: POLICEMEN Thursday night allegedly barred Governor Chibuike Amaechi and his guests mainly former Speakers in the country from accessing the governor’s residence through the private gate of the state Government House, Port Harcourt.

A 46-year-old Pastor, Olamide Sobowale, of Glory Church of Christ Aladura, Oke-Itoku, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has been ordered to be remanded in prison for allegedly Molesting a woman while bathing in his church backyard.
Pastor Sobowale, who was arraigned before a Magistrate Court sitting in Isabo, Abeokuta, yesterday, was accused of

Molesting one Dupe Makinde, 30, who lives in Isaje, Abeokuta, while taking a spiritual bath allegedly recommended by the pastor.

The prosecuting counsel, Paul Etusi, told the court that the accused grabbed the complainant while she was in a bathroom within the church premises and Molested her.

Etusi said the complainant had already put the soap on her face as she began bathing when the pastor suddenly entered the bathroom, grabbed and Molested her with soap on her face.

According to Etusi, the accused had told Mrs. Makinde that he had a vision about her and asked her to come for deliverance in his church.

He said: “He asked the woman to come to the church to take a spiritual bath for her deliverance, but, while the complainant was taking her bath, the accused barged into the bathroom, grabbed the woman and Molested her.

“The accused has committed an offence contrary to section 357 and punishable under section 358 of criminal code of law of Ogun State, Nigeria, 2006.”

Magistrate A. Araba after listening to the prosecuting counsel, ordered that the accused be remanded in prison till he gets advice from the Director of Public Prosecution and adjourned the case till September 16,2013.

Happy Sunday Ma People!I went to a cinema with Akpos, on getting to
the cinema we saw a bald guy, I showed the
guy to Akpos and said "Look at fresh head,
this one is good to slap, but I'm afraid of the
guy's face".
Akpos then said to me "Ofego, you fear a lot, I
will slap that head and nothing will happen".
I dared him to do it and he went to where the
guy was sitting and gave him a HOT SLAP on
his head. The guy was surprised, and wanted
to react, then Akpos said "Bros Ofego, so you
are here, and we have been looking for you at
home!"
The guy responded "I'm not Bros Ofego,
maybe we look alike", Akpos murmured
"maybe."
After some minutes In the cinema, Akpos
called me again and said "Ofego, I will slap
that guy again and nothing will happen." I
answered "ok"
He went to the guy, gave him a hot slap and
said "Bros Ofego stop lying, I say na u be
dis..." The guy said to him angrily "I'm not
Bros Ofego, please, let me be". The guy then
left that seat and went to the front seat.
After some minutes Akpos called me and said
"Ofego, I will slap that guy again and nothing
will happen." This time i told him that "if
anything happens, I will pretend I don't know
him."
He stood up, went to the front seat, gave the
guy a very hot slap and said "Bros Ofego, so
na here you dey, I come dey slap another
person for back!"

The men in the video confessed to be members of boko haram. Their names are: Mohamed Ibrahim and Adam Abubakar.

Mohamed Ibrahim said he's a fighter and one of the group's spiritual leaders, Adam Abubakar said he is a commander in the group. Mohamed has been in detention since august. He was arrested because he's a teacher in the group. While Adam Abubukar said he took part in the violent act that led to the killing of innocent people. He also stated that he took arms to fight, he attacked a van taking money from Maiduguri to Damaturu, blocked them, shot them and took the money. Another time they robbed a bank in Barma. He was asked if he was telling the truth or he was instructed to give them this information! He said b/w him and his god, he has nothing to hide from the lady/woman interrogating him.

On the other hand, Mohamed Ibrahim said that he has been a member since the group started.
The men said they want to negotiate their freedom with the military (AMNESTY).

The journalist checked extensively with the men's lawyer that they are telling the truth. But its impossible to verify this independently.

Their lawyer is trying to force the military to bring their cases to court or let them go. He said they were supposed to be charged within 24hrs or realesed.

Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, has finally replaced Mr. Obafaiye Shem, the man who postulated the “my oga at the top” mantra, as commandant of Lagos State Command. He was replaced by Mr. Adesuyi Clement from Oyo State Command.

Adesuyi Replaces Shem as Lagos Commandant.

The Commandant General of NSCDC, Dr. Olu Abolurin, who was in Lagos weekend over the alleged killing of two of his officers by some policemen, introduced the new Commandant to journalists.
However, he did not give reasons for Obafaye’s removal but sources hinted that Adesuyi took over from the former Commandant Obafaye on Tuesday March 29. The source believed that it may not be unconnected with his recent interview on Channels Television live programme.
Before now, authorities of NSCDC has denied taken any disciplinary action against Mr. Shem over the said interview. Their reaction followed claims that Shem had been sacked on the orders of the Minister of Interior, who supervises the NSCDC.
Shem ordeal started when he appeared on Channels Television morning programme ‘Sunrise’ and when asked the NSCDC website he said:
“Hmmm, the website is, excuse me, my Oga at the top knows the website”. He again, cleared his throat and said: “My Oga at the top is working on the website and I don’t have them”.
When the presenters insisted that he give a functioning website address of the para-military outfit, he dropped the bombshell: “ww.nscdc, that’s all”.
Immediately, the interview went viral and has become so popular to the extent that t-shirts with “my oga at the top” insignia has been produced and selling like hot cake across the country, even as some DJ’s and musicians have done what they called remix of the interview.
