how to contact u?

There are several official JB updates released by samsung,each addressing and fixing reported bugs in the previous one. i have done several updates,d latest being XWLSN.the battery issue is one issue that has refused to go away although there is slight improvement.u can try the latest update and see.

pcwhiz: Well.I think my first post should be about those that haven't yet update to 4.1.2 jelly bean to stay away from it cos it sucks..have bin having battery issues since yesterday morning..I just bought an s3 and decided to update from 4.0.4 to 4.1.2.. overall performance and design is quite impressive but most folks on 4.1.2 are having battery chargin issue.. please share ideas and how u were able to fix this problem.i fixed mine by using an N3 charger..but the draining ish is still there .

Guddy: Hello house I guess it's time to root my SGS2 and upgrade to the latest os possible. How do I go about it? I am thinking of taking it to a Samsung care centre as I do not know much about rooting and I wouldn't want to damage my phone in any way. I hope rooting will not cause any harm to the phone. Please I await your replies.

you dont need to root to upgrade to d latest os(jellybean 4.1.2). its pretty much straight forward.i did mine myself n i am loving it. u only need heavy data cos u need to download d os.its about 571mb.i can do it 4 u free.i am in lag.

or better still, look for a clean fairly used galaxy SII. U can save urself some money. I think its about 40k

just upgraded mine to jelly bean.n its been fun all the way with one hiccup after.the lock screen function didnt work after the update and the solution was to root and then do some stuff to restore the lock function. head to here for the tutorial. hope it helps. http://www.android.gs/update-galaxy-s2-gt-i9100-official-jelly-bean-4-1-2-uhms9/

i have two laptops, an ibm thinkpad and a compaq presario v3000.the ibm doesnt display and has no hard disc.probably a motherboard issue.likewise d compaq.

I have just upgraded my SGS2 with official Jellybean 4.1.2. everything is working fine.but d only snag there is the lock screen function doeasnt work. even when its engaged, pressing either d power button or d home button brings it on. is there anyway to rectify this?

i am unable to upgrade my SGS2 from GB to ics thru kies. is there any other offivial way of doing it?each time i try, i get a message saying firmware can't be updated thru kies.
