Wow i am very disappointed.

I think its time for you to move on. You are doing more damage to the way people see the Aniomas.

Let me tell you something that you need to understand, it shouldn't be the responsibility of south east Igbos to cater to you guys especially considering the fact that you allow the deniers to be the loudest voice amongs you.

If anything, the South East Igbos have been humiliated for the past 50 years and denied by everyone around them. They are beginning to worry about their interest.

Its the Aniomas that should be making more effort (in all Honesty) to rebuild the relationship that they destroyed.

The south East igbos never rejected anyone.

You cannot tell the family of the prodigal son who denied the family to beg the child to come back.
Oh you disappointed but, not disappointed on SE igbo that started it. Typical. Usual blindness

From SE on this forum and outside, I honestly can give two rats ass how SE Igbos view Anioma anymore. I’m honestly see what ppl say about una. You aware that several Igbo denier started so because of SE. You didn’t deny anybody? Do you know how many Anioma, myself included, have to deal with SE calling them fake Igbos, wannabe Igbos and more nonsense. Do you know how many turned because of that? Even on this thread, two of una made comments that Anioma claim Igbo or other tribe based on favor or for political relevance. Of course, you see nothing wrong with that. That is not insult. SE is the innocent party while Anioma is the guilty one. Ndi ara. I can give a very HUGE rats ass about una feelings just like una don’t give a Bleep about anybody else’s feelings.

Oh btw, how will you guys know who is the loudest when y’all have your opinions hence, focus your attention on only those that justify your opinions. How will you hear anybody else? Bleep it. We’re are tired of trying to appease SE. We are tired of trying to make y’all understand us. Just like y’all say North and Yoruba will not enslave y’all and won’t bow to them. Well Anioma will eventually get tired of appeasing you people and will definitely will not bow to una. Y’all aren’t Gods nor Igbo king markers. Mschewwwww

Reading the comments of meastroferddi, and the Ojiofor, I’ve been trying to be respectful to SE on this thread but, since the rest of y’all want to let them run mad, Bleep it, we will go mad together.

I see the reason why SE remains the irrelevant piece of shit it is in the political sceme of that shithole called Niggeria and why everybody runs away from una. I wonder which SE igbo is even relevant in the political atmosphere be it national or international as NOI. Hell even obsessed PDP, Okowa have more voice than you lots do. Delusional bunch of savages you two are.

And stop wailing to everyone about Nzeogwu. You goats weren’t the only Igbo groups affected by his actions.... all of us experienced the same exact result in respectively to each region yet both SS Igbos arose politically and economically while you lots rose just economically but as usual, blame every body else for your part of your incompetence. Acting Nzeogwu actions affected just una. Cry me a fucking River . Secondly, why will anybody claim Igbo as a political tool when SE Igbos are irrelevant in scheme of things. Y’all can’t even get your own fucking leaders to listen to y’all and they sabotages una any chance they get. But, let me guess Nzeogwu is responsible for the idiots una have as your leaders? Nzeogwu birthed them? Anything to take away the responsibilities of una actions. Ndi Enyi

Oh btw Ojiofor, I’m guessing calling people confused and identifying as bini wasn’t starting the insult. Well I’m not shocked, some of you SE have the tendency to start shit and start acting innocent when given a taste of their medicine. Does it shock me? NOT!!!!!!!!!! eediota

To clarify, I am not defending or justifying the the generalization or stereotyping of the Aniomas by some south east igbos.

A rape victim may overtime develop trust issues with men and sometimes the rapist is within the family.

Like I said ignorance is the main issue. Anioma has diverse opinions ranging from very pro-Igbos to very Anti-Igbo.

The major mistake some igbos make is generalizations. I hate that.

But for someone like you that is well knowledgeable with the issue, you should be educating the ignorant minds.

But responding to ignorance with ignorance lead to no where.

I know you are tired of explaining things but it’s still needs to be done.

There are new people signing up to Nairaland every day that never saw your past explanations.
It is not my job to educate people on what they should be educated on. I'm not from Rivers State but yet, I make an effort to educate myself about the Igbo speaking community there and learn about the Igbo denials there hence, I respect and cherish the oyigbo, Asa, etc community there and wary of the Ikwerre people. I'm not from SE but yet, I make an effort to educate myself about y'all. Ever since I learned about the Igbos in Benin and the Igbos in Biko Island of EQ, I'm currently making effort about them. Yet, some SE can't even make an effort to do the situation for us rather y'all base your knowledge based on report from divisive elements.

Several, emphasis on SEVERAL people, including several of Anioma kings and elders have repeatedly reached an olive branch to SE Igbos. Several of us have repeatedly spoken on the Igbo denials community within our areas and their limited population abeit loud. Heck even Nnamdi Kanu, the first protest asking for his release when he was arrested started in Anioma land, ironically, the area that has the highest percentage of igbo deniers mind you. Hell, we've had multiple Igbo days and Igbo events in our community to let una our attempts to unite with y'all but, none of that gets registered to y'all. The second anyone read Asagba and Obi of Owa y'all should have known the reason this man is struggling to get their approval but, no rather we have a bunch of fools insulting Anioma, accusing of being confused, lazy, not industrious, and other stupidity based on one man's words. How many are aware of amount of work the Obi of Owa is doing to try and reduce the Igbo division within his Ika community? I bet you none.

We've educated, we've reached out and none of that is being replicated on the side of SE. Hell, Asagba have repeatedly told your leaders that multiple times and have informed that several of the Igbo denials within our community is formed by SE Igbos and that's a fact. We shouldn't be responsible to be educating people that refuse to accept what we say but, rather deal with their own perspective on the subject.

While we work on adjusting the division within our community, y'all should work on dealing with the Igbos that act like they are the superior Igbos or decider of who is Igbo just because they happen to born on the opposite side of the bridge. Instead of letting them run around wild, cage am. It's not I or any other Anioma job to educate them. That should be SE Igbos job.

Lol, this man formed his own group "Izu Anioma' and he feels as the leader of a group not even recognized by another group and his people think his personal opinion represents the view of all relatives of Anioma' people that were slaughtered during the civil war because of their tribe 'Igbo'.

Who killed some Nlorthern leaders? Anioma' man (Nzeogwu). But to Nigerians, who killed some Northern leaders? An Igbo man (Nzeogwu).

Who fought the civil war Igbo.
Anioma Congress was there but him and Isama, the man that actually contributed in the repeated slaughter against Anioma during the civil war went formed their own group rather than joining group already created to cater to Anioma. Clearly, the dude is all about division. Despite wanting to unite both groups, he is actually going to Asagba and Owa for recognition while at the same time trying to separate SE Igbos from Anioma Which is completely different from what the two kings he’s going to are doing aka attempting to unite SE and SS Igbos. Clearly, he does not want his group to have any recognition. Someone Biko inform Mr.Ojieh to stick to his Ika community/monarch and leave Asagba out of his nonsense abeg. Why don't you let them choose by themselves where they want to belong to.

That's where the Yorubas are more matured.

If and when the time comes for Nigeria to break up, the Itshekiris choose other people for themselves, so be it.

Instead of you guys in the east to use this opportunity to also form an intelligent group that will liaise with this Yoruba group to achieve secession, you are here attacking the Yorubas who are forging their own destiny, steadily.

Thank you for bringing this to our notice. However, ibos in Delta State are not Igbo but Midwestern people of Edo and Delta State.
The Onisha bridge is the natural demarcation between the Ibos and the Igbo. Asaba is not igbo, Agbor is not igbo, Obiaroko is not igbo, Abe is not igbo, Ibuzu is not igbo.... let me quickly add this, the only primer (governor) of the Midwestern state was an Asaba man by name Dennis chukwma Osadebe and the road where the Edo State government house is located is still called Dennis Osadebe Avenue. This is to inform you that, the Ibos of Edo and Delta State are unique people and not part of the Igbo nation even if there is similarities in some pronunciation

Let me also add this, just because their are similarities in the Edo language and the Yoruba language from the West, does not make Edo Yoruba neither does it make Yoruba Edo and also, similarities in the Edo language from the East and Igbo language does not make Edo Igbo neither does it make Igbo Edo...
You are more ignorant than they are. Anioma IS NOT EDO!!!!! You Edo people need to get that through una heads and stop forcing unaselves on us!!!

So you dont see the mistake you are making? Nigeria carved you guys into the Midwest Region, you became "Midwest Igbos"

They then carved you into Bendel, you became "Bendelite Igbo"

Now you have been carved into Delta, you have become "Delta Igbos"

Should Nigeria carve you into another area tomorrow and call it imbecillia state, will you become an "imbecillic Igbo"?

This has got nothing to do with inferiority mistake, this has more to do with the gradual erosion of the identity of a part of Igbo land by the agents of division in Nigeria, and naturally, an Igbo man like me wont be happy with that
Explain to me how that’s erosion of identity? Are we saying we are not Igbo? NO WE ARE NOT!!!!!!! Thus, this is indeed inferiority complex on the part of SE Igbos that seems to have a problem with the term. We just self identify as Delta Igbo because Delta has more than one tribe in it. Simple as ABC!! Some Ijaws identify as Izon, which the Ijaw accept as Ijaw term. I doubt I’ve ever seen any Ijaw complain of it. Likewise, those of you guys in SE have names you call unaselves names per state such a Wawa for Enugu people thus, why aren't you and others like you see that as a "gradual erosion of the identity of a part of Igbo land by the agents of division in Nigeria"?

About a week ago I went visit my sister at her home and met her with her friends 10 year old daughter who was also visiting. When I asked the girl where she was from she said she is a "Delta Igbo" from Ibuzo in Delta state. I had to tell the girl that Ibuzo was just the short form of "Igbo bi n'uzo" which translates as "Igbos who live along the road". It struck me that the younger generation of Igbos indigenous to Delta state now call themselves "Delta Igbos" as if this is an actual ethnic group. It's almost like me saying that I'm "Anambra Igbo" or calling calling Emeka Ihedioha an "Imo Igbo"

The Governor of Delta State happens to be an Igbo man. I think that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa should do something to halt this trend of of people starting to believe theres an ethnic group called "Delta Igbo", no such thing exists, Igbo is Igbo. Ifeanyi Okowa should make a proclamation or a public utterance reminding indigenous Igbos of Delta state that the appellation "Delta" is just for geographical convenience and not an actual ethnic name. If this is allowed to continue, in another 50 years, these people will start calling themselves "Deltans"
I told myself that I won't log onto this forum for awhile but seeing this topic, I just had to say something. What the hell is wrong with some of you SE Igbos? Like seriously wtf is wrong with some of you people. We classify ourselves as Delta igbo because Delta State isn't like SE where Igbos are majority of the tribes. It'll be stupid for an Anambra lgbo to mention their Anambra Igbo because Anambra is predominately igbo and majority of people identify Anambra as an igbo state. An igala from Anambra on the other will obviously mention their state as that indicates they aren't Igbo. Most Anioma that don't identify as igbo do not use the term Delta Igbo, that term is used by those of us that identify as Igbo. So in what way does saying we're delta Igbo seperate ourselves as igbo. I've come to the conclusion that this isn't our problem, this is SE problem. Una had a problem with the term Anioma and now Delta Igbo. You can call yourselves Wawa, Oniba or whatever name Anambra people call themselves but let anyone else call themselves a name and that's like war. This is una problem, not ours. I've finally realized that..Some of una have inferiority complex and project that inferiority complex on others. Okowa does not need to change anything rather you and those that think like you should work on yourself. Your inferiority complex is your problem, not ours. If you don't like the term Delta Igbo, get over it. The day I see una crying to Enugu people for calling themselves Wawa or Anambra for calling themselves imbalance or Omabala or whatever is the day I take una seriously.
