Do we expect anything else from tribalistic yoruba leaders? Come to delta state even and see how your people use tribalism to full the oil companies with una despite having better and more educated indigenous of the state to fill the position. slowpoke I'm from SS and Igbo. I don't need to steal oil like yoloba when my own state is the second producing oil state in the country. I don't need to steal oil when my tribe has one of the largest oil producing block in River state. LMFAOOOOOOOOO. You think I'm yoloba that are so greedy they steal others oil as well as continously tell us about an oil production in Lagos almost every year since 2012 and yet none of us seen a drop since that 2012.

While, let's add more voice of SS shall we....I urge you to read this entire thread

Lastly, go and notice how NDA never mention Southwaaste in their entire demands despite they are speaking for the entire south demands in that report.

Likewise, any time Southern unity governor forum is held, if a SE or SS governor is the one that's holding it, they NEVER include you southwaaste

SS oil doesn't belong to osu ibos. No vex. Ondo, without Lagos's oil potential, produces more oil than Ibo states (SE).

Because as I said, ever since your hausa/fulani masters left una to do it, you have been trying for YEARS...evidence is on this thread RIGHT NOW. Unfortunately for Yoruba, una are just as bad in it as una are in everything excluding propaganda.

Lmfaooooooooooooooooo Ondo produces Zero oil except the one una stole from my state. Funny enough, it's the Ijaws there that even have claim of it and not the yoloba parasite. As I said una are bunch of parasite. Don't worry though. That Delta oil your greedy brother Obasanjo stole from Delta is currently in the process of being sent back to it's original state. It's crumbling so much that both SS and SE groups don't even like una or even interact with una. Sheet even the leaders dey exclude una. That speaks loudly.

So in this ediot head, Oyigbo lga in River state = river state. Yoloba and stupidity. Abeg, join the arewa, una and them are perfect jor.

While I'm at it,

Lagos — Complaints of marginalisation have resurrected an age-old agitation by the people of Oyigbo local government in Rivers State for a merger with their kith and kin in Abia State.

There is a grounds- well of discontent and agitation in Oyigbo local government area of Rivers State. The people are seriously complaining of marginalisation in the affairs of the state and now want to go back to Abia State from where they were carved out in 1976. Oyigbo local government was merged with Rivers State following federal government's acceptance of the report of the Justice Mamman Nasir boundary adjustment commission. Besides, they insist that they are Igbo and would be better catered for in a predominant Igbo territory. The people, under the aegis of Asa-Ndoki-Obigbo League, ANOL, have petitioned President Olusegun Obasanjo, alleging denial of social amenities such as electricity, pipe-borne water, motorable roads and hospital, among others. "Since we have been denied everything due to us, we must go back to our kith and kin in Abia State", they wrote in a petition dated February 18, 2000 and signed by Stanley Akaya and Johnson Ezenma, president and secretary-general respectively. In the petition, ANOL gave 17 reasons why the people want to go back to Abia State.

Politics / Why You Should Be Against South Unity. by ikeg7416: 7:26pm On May 06, 2016
On this NL, we were here when after the Enugu attack to see yoruba having a field day mocking the dead and those injuried. Some even professing how retaliation should have been the right way to solve the situation. Insulting Enugu people left and right and when confronted, they scream is retaliation against the mockery of their mile 12 palava...some even stating their people would never mock the dead blah blah yet forgetting that those of us that's been here since 2012, we all know the mockery of the mile 12 palava was due to retaliation over yoruba repeated laughter, mockery and teasing against the killing of Massob members as well as Igbo people up north. Those of us that's been on NL long enough remembers very vividly who started the laughing over the death of others and last i checked the group who began it was yoruba.

Anyway, after the Enugu massacre, we saw yoruba opening threads upon threads, comments, upon comments, screaming "South unity. South unity". "The south should unite to deal with the hausa/fulani palava blah blah". I never trusted yoruba so I ignored all that crap but some individuals, who I'm going to say are very blind, listened to it, and supported it

Fast forward to Aba riots that happened few days ago...the same set of people that mocked Enugu for retaliating, ironically enough were the same set of people that actually condemn Aba boys for retaliating. Infact, out of all South groups, yolobas, were the only ones that sympathized with the hausa who died for Killing a man FIRST. The man the hausa killed does not matter to the yorubas, the one that mattered is the Aba boys defending themselves.

Like they are the biggest hypocrites and contradicts on this planet. Every year, we can see why these people are classified as two faced you can never turn your back on.

Now someone tell me, why in God's name are you people actually thinking of south unity with this people? This is a question for those that are falling for that south unity crap these people are tooting around lately.
Have any of una never wondered why anytime their is a southern governors meeting in effort to unite the regions, the SW governors and leaders are never invited unless they are the ones that set up the meeting? That speaks volume.
Have any of una never wonder why in all the press release of ND militants and IPOB...they never mention SW despite each mentions SS and SE? That speaks volume. In my opinion, these set aka leaders and militant fighters are the ones who got inside knowledge about that nation and tribes of that nation so when the leaders of the two south groups avoid including the only other "south" group to "unify the south", there has to be a huge reason why and I believe everyday we see a glimpse as to why.

As for what motivated for this thread....the replies of the Yoruba members in the Aba riot threads as well as the attached screenshoot.

For those still blinded by the so called "South unity" solving anything....Wake the f2k up. There is one region in south that'll throw all of us under the bus if it means pleasing their northern masters. The SW being in the south, in my opinion, is the biggest mistake known to man. They and the North should have been together. Infact, MB should have been in the south while SW can attach to the north....if wishes can come true, that'll be my wish right now.

It's no wonder that we're making the same mistakes over and over again.

ItsMeAboki:

I see nothing wrong with this documentary, let the truth be told so that lessons can be learnt.

I for one learnt the following:

First, there was the underlying genesis of the war, which was identified as Igbo resentment of northern leadership of the country, resulting in the first coup that brought Igbos to power, during which they accused the previous government of corruption but ironically themselves ending up more corrupt than the one they replaced, associated with Igbo favoritism and arrogance against other Nigerians; which in turn resulted in the counter-coup, the pogrom and subsequently the war.

Secondly, we also learnt that the Igbos pursued an expansionist agenda, they were the first to cross into Nigerian soil, and also lay claim to territories beyond Igboland that included other southern minorities.

Thirdly, IPOBians wishing for war should appreciate the following:

The war was fought almost entirely on Igboland (not on Nigerian territory) with devastating impact on the infrastructure, while majority of Nigerians were carrying on with their normal business unaware and unaffected as the Biafrans were being traumatized by the realities of war and clinging for survival.

The two sides approached the war with different levels of urgency: The Biafrans at full stretch with so much urgency, their army resorting to conscription, including child soldiers; while Nigeria was more leisurely, its army depending solely on volunteers who were well paid and better equipped - without the need for conscription.

The Nigerian lead govt never saw the Biafrans as enemies, refusing to call them so, but as rebels, rebelling against their own family; with a vision to always bring them back into fold - as actualized by the post war (3 R's') programs of Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Reconciliation of the Gowon govt.

Both sides engaged external assistance in terms of weapons and mercenaries: the Biafrans from Sweden and Nigeria from Russia (Mig jets) and Egyptian pilots; with the high Biafran civilian casualty being blamed on the latter who were described as shy of anti-aircraft fire.

The Biafran civilians suffered untold hardship because the war itself was like pitching David against Goliath in which the Biafrans never stood a chance of winning.
Inevitably, there was international sympathy for the suffering civilians which earned them humanitarian aid of food and medicines through the Red Cross and Christian missionaries but on the other hand the Nigerian Government (which never unleashed the full weight of its resources into the war) enjoyed full political support of the international community - especially Britain, USA and USSR.

Yes, oil was a major factor that may have influenced international support and the outcome of the war but certainly not the only reason - not very few wars in history were not fought over or unconnected with one resource or another.

The above foregoing should be reason enough for those presently wishing to tempt history to remember that history has a way of repeating itself - because any secessionist war would likely be fought again on Igboland, affecting predominantly Igbos with majority of Nigerians as before relatively unaffected.

See how this Nigga just added his own sugar, spices and salt to a video we just watched.

Jesus ooooo. Now we can see how odua-arewa propaganda rewrite about the civil war.

People, Everyone, biko

They wanted their own nation.

That's not what he said. You accused Ojukwu for fighting for oil of SS and he mentioned there was no SS at the time. In addition, the fight wasn't just the oil in minority group but also the ones in Igboland hence the reason why immediately after the war, you northerners cut off the highest producing oil community in that country and attach them to River state. Even till this day, they are wailing to be sent back to imo state and abia state they were carved from, your leaders still ignore their request.

Infact, after the minority oil states were captured, why did you people continue fighting?

Anyway @ thread.

I am so glad for this video. ..oh lord THANK YOU CBS. @OP thank you for spreading it, I'm sharing it right now. The truth has surfaced at last. It wasn't because "one nigeria", it was the north greed for oil sef.

Infact the video even attested that the do called "igbo coup" was actually both igbo and other tribe member . In addition, the video they narrated how after the so "igbo coup", the so called "anger" from the people rewrite the hausa/fulani and yoloba leaders did to spread propaganda. The people actually supported the act of the "igbo coup"...the fight back was because igbo used a superiority complex (aka hating on igbo). THANK GOD for this Video. The truth is surfacing slowly. The best thing about it is the video was made during the war so this isn't a he say, she say type of shit. This is reality cheesy cheesy

Another aspect that I love about the video is how the video equally showed that Biafrans NEVER invaded Nigeria like the Nigerian leaders rewrite. In fact, the Nigerians didn't even know the war was going on. Plus, the only reason the Nigerian army won was because of British and Egypt assistance and weapon delivery. I am loving this video. No wonder the OP wants to hide it. The video have exposed the lies and shown the truth.

Igbo share this video around...expose it to every women, man, child, even fetus that you know is Igbo.
