I actually plan on relocating to Abuja. I plan on buying keke and Toyota corolla for transportation business though i won't personally be driving them. My main issue is accommodation, the last times i visited abuja, i stayed in Gariki area 1, apo and utako but it was will relatives. I want to know where i can get like a 2 or 1 bedroom apartment with stable electricity,water and security and my budget is 300k.

It's important to check up on ur aged parents as it's expected of u. When you were little they did their bit in taking care of you and checking up on u. So reciprocating same gesture isn't bad especially now you're a grown man. I'll advise you find peace with him and create an enabling environment whereby you both can sit and settle ur differences..

Thank you for the advise. The truth is that he has been extending an olive branch to me in his own way but i have been too much in my feelings to accept it. I'll try to meet with him and settle our differences before it's too late for neither of us.

This is the first topic i have created since i joined this forum.
For a while now, my mind has been restless, i haven't spoken to my father since i left his house on January 5 2023. We had an argument and i left some days later. I wasn't angry when i left, i just wanted to give him space and find my own way as a man. Though I'm his first born son and his exact replica but we are so different and share very different views.
Some days ago, i called him and was very angry at me and ended the call before i could say anything and he has refused to pick up my calls since then.
I really don't understand why he's angry at me or why he's not taking my calls but i have decided to stop calling him and let him be.

Nice story and great moral lesson but i strongly disagree with reasoning here. First, you didn't tell us how he became broke to the point that he's now a taxi driver.

Secondly, he didn't lose everything because he didn't work for it because no matter what you say he did work for his money just that he did it in a socially unacceptable way. Rather he lost everything because of his lack of planning and probably bad investments.
