biafrandream: Our people are horrible when it comes to building our land. An Igbo man would rather fly to Kano first and then fly to his state than flying straight to Enugu. All the talk about lack of advertisement and awareness is simply not true. I know a lot of people who knew about Ethiopian Airline but they still prefer landing in Lagos or Abuja first (even when they have no business to transact there), before flying to their home destinations.i duff my hat for you oo. ![]() ![]() |
solihu: Yo ba furo re! With your head like okada seat!Anh anh. ore mi we dey fight? ? Was just being humorous with that post. No hard feelings ![]() |
Femolacaster: This guy, shey u be WAZOBIA?Yup, i speak all of Nigerias 3 major languages with a little fulfude(fulani) thus i'm seldom intimidated with lingua! ![]() |

Sincere 9gerian: The message is clear. Seun is pro-APC at the moment but if asked to choose between GEJ and Buhari, he would rather go for GEJ. That is understandable because, if elected president, a Buhari would not tolerate criticisms and would most likelyclose down forums like NL ![]() ![]() ![]() |
ichidodo: Inferiority Complex is when you take photographs with your supposed betters (white folks) and feel very cool about it up to the point you 'show off'.Typical yeriba phenomenon. That is why y'all our biitches for we 'own' you, your land and livelihood. So go f**k yourselves ![]() Damn! Dude you really put that witch in her place. That must be the ugly biatch called 'Desola' or the confused cowgirl wannabe 'Ileke idi'! |

DerideGull: I stand hundred percent on my statement. I had never confused conformism with realism. I have no business in partisanship but will not allow the idiocy of counter culture in my family. I am with you on the grounds of marrying from Igbo land. But in the context of Nigeria, one thing I shall not tolerate is the fact of turning my back to the wisdom of my parents. Most people are raising their kids in USA and one shall be foolish to expect the social and culture decorum expected of a child raised in Igbo land. Mallam Rochas Okorocha is raised in northern region of Nigeria and his idiosyncrasy leaves much to be desired.Oh really? So what of me that was born and bred in Sokoto and had lived there all my life(only returning to Igboland recently) does that make me any less Igbo? Would that hinder me from enjoying any patrimony accruieng to me as someone with Igbo blood? Please make claims based on facts and not emotions! Da'alus so |
DerideGull: The man is the reason your parents will warn you about the areas in Nigeria you would want to take a wife or raise your children. There is always wisdom in your parents.Dede, i'm really dissappointed! I used to think it was kids that engaged in that ''My mother said i should not marry from...'' stuff, i never knew an aged man like you whom we the youngsters of this forum should be looking upto is equally partisan you and people like you are the reason other igbos see Anambra people as''Supremacists'' . I dont see an Igbo from Aba,Owerri,Asaba,Nsukka as any different from me! And when i'm ready for Marriage any woman the lot falls on be she from any part of Igboland is who i'm gonaa marry, no matter what anybody says! |
donphilopus: I'm waiting for Afam to speak! How can he say GEJ does not know FFK?? It's just like saying Pius Odubu (if he eventually becomes the president of this nation), does not know Stella Oduah (by then she would become a former minister of Aviation)! They are jealous of FFK! He go continue to dey blast una babes, and you'd be in a networkless village shouting! |
I'm very Happy for Innoson |
Olugbenger: INNO18 na here you dey. Go_of_music dey snatch Show me the thread! |
Abagworo: I don't know about that [s]but what I really know is that Imo, Abia, Enugu and Anambra receive almost equal allocation which ranges between 2.8billion and 3.5billion at most[/s]. All the Southeast States have meagre allocations as I've always acknowledged but going by Rochas pace, by the time he stays 6 and half years like most other Governors, the changes will be tremendous. People fail to recognize the fact that he has 4 years gap to meet up with before comparing his completed projects with others.OWERRI—Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has presented a budget proposal of N197,743,684,031 to the state House of Assembly for the 2013 fiscal year http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/12/okorocha-presents-2013-budget-to-assembly/ Enugu State Governor, Mr. Sullivan Chime on Wednesday signed the 2013 state’s appropriation bill of over eighty-three billion naira (83,785,203,408) into law. http://dailypost.com.ng/2013/03/06/chime-signs-n83billion-enugu-2013-budget-into-law/ can you now see the folly in your assertions? While Chime works with a meagre #83B, Rochas woks with twice that and you expect Rochas to be applauded if he performs no better than Chime? Please throw that ''SE gets meagre resources'' notion into the gutter, cos it's glaring Clear some states are richer than others! |
I Expect the usual ''Never see anything good with anything'' folks from the other side of the Niger to begin frothing @ the site of this thread. Good one from the Agric Minister. I love the way Ebonyi is tapping into it's Agricultural potentials. Countrie like thailand, Laos and and to an Extent Indial largely depend on Rice Cultivation to keep their economy robust. I see no reason why Nigeria should'nt do the same. |
Abagworo: Keep on dying in bitterness. Unlike Jonathan, Rochas has continued to work amidst attacks from your likes who see the truth and write lies. Infact he shouldn't even have given them at all. Left for me its better to give it to selected poor people.you call #197 billion meagre resource? Do you know Sullivan will change Enugu to Durban with that amount @ his disposal? That's like the Budget of Anambra and Enugu trumped together! Imo has money, just that you guys have not been so lucky with your leaders! I expect Imo's budget to be higher than #200B for 2014. |
No problemo |
Brimmie: FFK.. Oya come comment!!I dare that demented swine to post on this thread and i promise to devour him to shreds! Unlettered Dolt! |
ilugunboy: You have a subtle way of blackmailing people to extract an apology from them...Actually it's 'Cunning' ![]() |
AKURE — POLICE in OndoState is quizzing a top official of the Akure Zonal Office of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, Mr. Boma Benibo, 59, for allegedly defilling a seven-year-old girl. Vanguard gathered that the incident occurred at the residence of the suspect, 18, Kola Ogunmola Street, Ijapo Estate, Akure, lastTuesday. The suspect resides in the same building with the parents of the victim. It was learnt that the girl (names withheld)used to visit the suspect’s flat often to play. But the unexpected happened last week when she visited and was there for over two hours which made her mother became suspicious. On getting to the suspect’s apartment, she discovered her daughter was not her usual self and after a brief interrogation she pointed at her private part. Further interrogation, according to reports, showed that the suspect had touched her private part. The father of the girl, Mr Rotimi Babadipe, immediately reported the matter at the Ijapo police station and the suspect was picked up. Contacted, the state Police image maker, Wole Ogodo, confirmed the incident. Ogodo said: “The police was going to do a medical test on the girl to ascertain if Benibo actually penetrated her. “Yes, it is true, but we have a little problem to resolve, because the girl, on interrogation, said the man was fiddling with his private part and did not penetrate her. “The police is trying to take her to the hospital so that a proper medical examination will be done to determine the fact of the matter.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/12/59-yr-old-man-defiles-7-yr-old-girl/ So much for 'Shofisticated people' SMH! |
Sincerely speaking i'm not a fan of how we(Igbos) most times pull our own down, Rochas is dolling out just a meagre #30,000 to tradtional rulers and it's a big news. But neither of you said anything when P.Obi distributed 200 Suvs to traditional rulers in an election season. We all might despise Rochas for dumping 'Our' party to join the party of you know who, but that should not blind us into not commmending something good when we see one. Tell me, what initiative of Rochas have we ever applauded since he left Apga? Need i remind you sycophants that Rochas Remains the only Governor in the East that has properly immortalised Ojukwu? He was the 1st person to build and rename a cultural centre in his name and Heroe's square in Owerri is in Ojukwu's memory. What have other Governor's in the east done for our great Ikemba? P.obi renamed an already named street after him and named a university just few days to election in his name( we all know what for). I hate it when people pokenose unneccesarily. Imo people elected Rochas, they should be the ones to tackle him if they feel he's stepping out of bounds! The rest of you should just go and face your villages! O ginidi! Rochas this, Rochas that! Go and get a life @ OP! |
^^^ Emotional Goon |
Ngozi, you've really got the treasure of time. Engaging these oily heads is a full day's job and unless you're on leave or perharps off duty, I suggest you take a cue from ikengawo and leave those demented simpletons to continue ranting their emotional gibberish! |
Chamackh: Smear campaign against our son and brother Bar Ike Ekweremadu that he is corrupt is unfounded and callous, we the people of Aninri and the Greater Agwu people will no longer watch our son being bullied. Bar Ike apart from being the Chairman of Aninri local government then has never held an executive position, then how come Bar Sullivan and his warriors label him corrupt? Enugu belongs to all of us, if Bar Ike will not contest for Governorship position, then its better he goes back to represent the people of Enugu West in the Senate cos he has done marvelously well. Long live Ikeoha Aninri, Long Live Ikeoha Ndi Igbo.Arrant Gibberish! Preach that to Nursery 1 pupils! Tell me one motion he has raised in senate that is ProIgbo? Instead he is proposing donkey years for Jonathan in the guise of 'Constitution Amendment'. Shove your arguements up your A.S.S.S |
ba7man: All those projects i mentioned are being executed with the aim of preparing the various states for the future. Here's an arguement from the only non bigoted Yoruba on the forum. You've got valid points there no doubt, i understand your point which is while the rest of Nigeria is embarking on 'Massive projects' the SE is still celebrating mediocre projects not worthy of the 20th century. But if you analyse 'asha' statement that the 'media is confusing you guys' properly, you'd catch his drift with little effort. Now here's what he's trying to let you know: while SW leaders prefer publising every of their achievement no matter how minute, the SE leaders(most except Rochas) prefer to keep mum on theirs. You made mention of Eko atlantic, there's a thread i nthe politics section which shows recent pictures of this 'paradise' one could see that so far this peninsula is nothing but a sea of sand(for the meantime) but the way SWterners potray the city, one would think it dwarfs DOHA. Dont get me wrong, though, there's nothing wrong in 'dreaming big', i saw renders of what it's expected to look like, and i must say it's a nice initiative. Sullivan began work on centenary city, which when completed would one of the most serene cities in Eastern Nigeria. But no one besides we(Those it matters to) know about it. Rochas began work on 8 units of 16 storey buildings in owerri last year as landmarks to be used to celebrate Nigeria's centenary. And so many underground projects going on, yet the media doesnt blare it into everybody's ears! The Badagry Expressway you made mention of, i was opportuned to pass through it today en route to trade fair, the work there is going on @ snail speed and wouldnt take less than 2 years to complete, why advertise it now? |
payless: "Mallam Dakata Kano" does not exist.I used to respect you b4, thinking you were one detribalised folk. But you've proved time and time again to be a serial tribalist! Shame! |
Afam i'd appreciate if you stop hiding my posts. When did typing 'oily soup' on this forum become a crime? Meanwhile you watch and do nothing when they refer to us as 'flat heads'? I know you reside in Lagos, i dont want to believe they've brainwashed you as well! |
mike404: NWANNE NWATA NWANYI AFU AMUBEGI NWA OBUNA. AKWUNA KA ONO NA LAGOS AGBA.IKWESIRI IMA IHE UMU NWANYI ALA IMO NA ARU NA LAGOS... IBU ZI UMU AKASorry but i will not be a party to this comment! |
Berem you can insult me all you like buh that wont stop me from telling you the truth, check my post history starting from 'INNO18', to 'Nnewi1stSon' to this present one where i supported Obi. I wont reply your vile language, because last i checked you were married with kids, so i presume you're older than me, i'll give you that respect. ![]() |
