mrsamsticks: Governor Rochas Okorocha promised to give to the winner of BBNaija Reality Show, 2018 Edition -Miracle, a land in any place of his choice in the State to enable him return home and build a house of his own.
Miracle and Nina visited the Governor at the Government House in Owerri on Thursday, May 3, 2018. On their visit, the governor made a Cash donation of N2 million to Miracle and also extended another N2 million Cash donation to Miss Nina Chinonso who participated in the BBNaija show.
Both Miracle and Nina held from Imo State. In this event they both spoke well of the free education programme of the State Government and hoped for more. The Governor added that Miracle has made the State proud by emerging as the winner of the show.
Ex big brother Naija housemates, Tobi and Alex were yesterday hosted by the first lady of Kogi State, Rashida Yahaya Bello, in Abuja.
The both are in Abuja for a club appearance and will be back to Lagos today. Alex shared photos from the visit and wrote;
“Today, I met a definition of beauty. A scarce one at that because she is beautiful at heart. First lady of kogi state Her Excellency Rashida Yahaya Bello @rashidayahayabello thanks for your invitation and warm welcome. You are really a mother. Happy belated birthday.”
.Olunloyo, daughter of former Oyo State Governor Dr Victor Omololu Olunloyo, has reacted to her cousin Akinkunle Olunloyo's arrest and the N40 million fraud charge police brought against him last Friday.
Akinkunle Olunloyo was yesterday brought before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, for allegedly defrauding a financial institution to the tune of N40 million.
According to Kemi, Akinkunle was defrauded of part of the N40m by some of his friends, who are now on the run.
She told The Nation that Akinkunle, a former night club owner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Code Media Ltd, had repaid N26 million to his creditors.
According to the police, Akinkunle committed the offences in Lagos, “sometime in November 2014,” in connivance with unnamed accomplices.
Kemi said:
“Akinkunle owned a night club and when the economy nosedived, he sold it. He wanted to invest the money from the sale in a new venture: entertainment hall business. That’s what he wanted to do.
“Some boys, his friends that he thought were trustworthy, met him and advised him to take a bank loan. They promised to assist him through the process. But when he got the loan, the boys made away with part of the money. They did not give it to him.
The debt should ordinarily be owed by everyone involved in the loan deal, but the others are on the run. Nobody knows where they are, so he is the scapegoat for the offence.”
On Monday, it was widely reported that Akinkunle was a son of Dr Olunloyo, a mathematician who left office after three months as governor in December 1983, following a military coup.
But Kemi, a pharmacist and blogger, clarified the controversy surrounding Akinkunle’s identity and his relationship with her father.
She said:
“My grandfather, Horatio Olunloyo, who owns Molete House in Ibadan, had five children: three girls and two boys.
The ‘boys’ are my dad, Dr Victor Omololu Sowemimo Olunloyo, and his brother, the late Prof. Vincent Olusegun Sowemimo Olunloyo, or my Uncle Segun, as I call him.
My dad is the older sibling, Uncle Segun was the third born. Both sons have the same initials: V.O.S. Uncle Segun was famous in his own right. He was a top engineer, very popular at the University of Lagos, where he lectured. He died last October after an illness and was buried last December.
“Akinkunle Olunloyo is Uncle Segun’s second son. So, he is my dad’s nephew and my cousin. I saw him just after he was born in 1978. It was the last time I saw his mum and his two siblings. So, when I saw him being identified in stories online as my dad’s son, i.e. my ‘brother’, it was really weird.
“Akinkunle’s mother is Mrs Joko Olunloyo, wife of Prof. Vincent Olusegun Sowemimo Olunloyo. But they divorced after some years, so I don’t know if she still uses Olunloyo. I call her Aunty Joko.
“Aunty Joko told me Akinkunle has paid back N26 million out of the N40 million, so he owes something like 13 or 14 million naira.”
But is true na, why honouring only one person while both of them are from the same state that's unfair!https://newshelm.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/DcJQ6ncWkAUSsZV.jpg Shortly after Miracle was named education ambassador of Imo state, Nina brother has come to question why such honour hasn't been extended to his sister who was a finalist on the BBnaija show.
Things are happening really fast for the finalist housemates, who are getting all the love and attention Nigerian social media users have to give. Nina has been a recipient of various gifts from her celebrity supporters but appears minute to being recognised by her state governor.
To fight her battles, her brother recently shared a post, pointin gfingers and asking why women are treated with little respect in the Nigerian society. His post reads:
Both of them are just beating around the bush, the truth of the matter is that they have met and fu*k!{quote author=Tessyama1 post=67104313]A photo of media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Cee-C at an event he hosted went viral yesterday after he denied ever meeting her during an interview with Toolz on Beat Fm yesterday.
This got tongues wagging as many felt he has really met her and is just covering up.
Cee-C has now taken to Instagram to address the issue. She wrote;
"I have alot to address and answer but I will address this particular issue. An interview of someone I respect, admire and see as my mentor was drawn to my attention. Like I said in the house I met @ebuka at an event he hosted, Yo!!! the fact that you meet somebody doesn't mean that the person has to remember you. @ebuka is HUuuuGE in this industry and probably meets over 100,000 people a week, so therefore he has every right to say he has not meet ME. What I said in the house was from the view of someone who does not understand the industry. Guys I have met and had conservations with alot of people this week, that would as well say they have met me this week too and I can't even remember. To my fans, I do appreciate you all for always having my back, mehn!! where did you guys get that picture from I advise we take it easy with the bashing, negativity, etc Love You All, Ceec"
SavannaGIST: Former Big Brother naija housemate, Tobi has given reasons many people would not believe he is just 23-years old.
Tobi’s age has been an issue of controversy ever since he told other housemates while in the show that he was 23.
Some viewers of the reality television show believe the BBN star is well above 23, and are asking him to come up with his real age.
Fielding questions from Punch, Tobi who came out as the show’s second runner up, gave reasons it would be hard for people to believe him.
He also revealed what his parents told him after spending 85 days in the Big Brother house and failing to win the ultimate prize.
Tobi said, “It is not surprising that they did not believe me. I feel that the reason they did not believe me is because of my accomplishments, not many people of my age have done what I have achieved in life.
“I graduated from school at 18, I worked for about four years and within that time, I have also done my Chartered Financial Analyst level one qualification; it is a reputable finance qualification.
“I still have two more levels to go. To a lot of people, it is really hard to believe, especially if they compare it with their life or other people’s standard.
“I have not always been the smartest kid but I have always been smart in my own way . I graduated from school with a Second Class Upper degree even though I was the youngest in my class. I come from a family where you are taught to be hard working.
“At that young age, I had some distractions but I knew that I could not attend the university without finishing without a very good result.”
Asked what his parents told him when he first time saw them after the show, he added,
“They told me that they are proud of me and my father called me his role model and that meant a lot to me.
“Not every man gets such words from his father. It was a great moment for me.”
Ebuka is a bloody liar!{quote author=chi2054real post=67089861]Ebuka recently had a chat with Beat FM 99.9, and he was quoted to have said that he has never in his life met CeeC before, as the first time he’d ever meet Cee-C was on stage at the just-concluded Big Brother Naija, which saw Miracle as the winner.
Ebuka debunked all rumours stating clearly that he didn’t know her before the house.
During the show, a number of stories went around that the host Ebuka knew Cee-C and that they might have dated.
Ebuka debunked all rumours stating clearly that he didn’t know her before the house.
The BBNaija 2006 housemate also made it clear that he didn’t have the authority to give her a slot to be a housemate on the show. According to him, “She said something in the house that got mixed interpreted. She said she drove to my house and we had a conversation that made me put her into the reality show.”
“Apparently she came to market something to me, in some event, I mean, I attend so many event in Lagos. I’m not supposed to remember everybody.
“Apparently, this happened at Terraculture, nothing about this came to my mind until I heard what she said during the show.
“To the best of my knowledge, the first time I met Cee-c was when I spoke to her on stage during the show.
“The reason I didn’t debunk it was because I wanted it to die naturally. It was a very stupid rumour and I didn’t want to give life.”
“I think she has crush on me. But I don’t know what else she has on her head. I’ve never spoken to her except while in the house when I was doing my job.”
Now, to paint him a liar, Nigerians have digged up, and leaked a photo of Ebuka interviewing CeeC during her “pageant” days.

Realdeals: For the very first time in history and 15 years after the mysterious escape of the present Ekiti State (South Western Nigeria) Governor, Ayodele Fayose from security men after his October 2003 impeachment saga alongside his deputy, Biodun Olujinmi (now a Senator) the truth has emerged on how the controversial Fayose escaped and hid for the first 3 months in Lagos.
Ayo Fayose who was impeached by the Ekiti State House of Assembly after ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo labelled him a fraud due to a multi-billion Naira poultry farm scam in his state had escaped out of Ekiti under some mysterious circumstances with analysts suggesting he travelled to Accra. But, a former Governor of Abia State (South Eastern Nigeria) Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has revealed to Asabe Afrika TV how he helped Ayo Fayose escape from the fiery anger of President Obasanjo by keeping the dethroned Ekiti State Governor in his house for 90 days.
Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu decided to make the15 years secret open after Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose who returned to power in 2014 and set to leave next June warned him not to step into Ekiti State to campaign for President Buhari earlier in the month. Dr. Kalu dared Fayose and entered Ekiti State to organize a Pro-Buhari rally. He described Fayose as his boy who dare not stop him from doing his political bidding in Ekiti. Dr. Kalu told Asabe Afrika TV how Ayo Fayose hid inside his Lagos home in 2003 for 3 months as a fugitive. Enjoy the video.
