That's very uncultured from a people who claim they are the originators of Igbo.

The culture we the Omanbala invented are different from yours. Every group contribution but at different degrees.

We are the northern Igbo or Nri/Awka.

Orlu zone is the origin of Igbo culture. You don't know because your father isn't taking you home not because you are cultured.

Since the Anambra colony of the Igala nation will come and misbehave in this thread, I am officially launching

ETSN
EASTERN THREAD SECURITY NETWORK.

In order to join the task force, quote this post. Whenever they act stupid I will tag you in the post and everyone will post about their Igala origins at once for 40 days and 40 nights

We are tired of Igala herdsmen in our threads

Orlu Zone Fact: The funding for the First Republic and Republic of Biafra was provided by the oil palm industry concentrated in the Orlu zone. The Oil palm trade also replaced the slave trade and made the Eastern Region the fastest growing economy in the world before the civil war

Not the most influential and not the origin of Igbo culture.

Additionally, Aguata and Orumba doesn't share kinship nor heritage with Ideato.

What is the origin? Your Igala Jewish State?

This is the biggest, most populated, most influential zone in the region in igbo land and the origin of Igbo culture, but gets 0 mention on this forum which is how you know 90% of the posters here don't live or go east.

Normally those small towns should be more desirable to live. Yet None of those towns mentioned are up to standard or livable. A Norwegian village is more livable and considered more developed with better quality of life than Abuja and Lagos . go figure out why. It has nothing to do with mega international church , international mega stadium, or mega seaport or international mega cargo passenger airport. The black man has issues with simple basic organization, instead he's chasing shadows. that's why you line up at embassy to migrate to Norway,Sweden, USA, Canada, Japan,Finland ,etc. despite all your resources . That is why you admire Denmark ,Sweden,Germany, Singapore etc. You think it happened by chance ?

Kzinne:
stupid question cos the cost of doing business isn't the same. How much do you pay a factory worker in the USA and how much in Nigeria to produce say Bread? Same amount ? No

most non-union factory workers will make somewhere around 10-13 dollars an hour.
The cost of living in the US is also a lot higher so you can't eat anything off $1, and you can't eat anything healthy or cooked for $10 unless it's a sandwich.

If you cook your own food the cost of eating is lower, but for context enough goat meat to make a pot of stew for rice is $40. a bag of rice the size of the average Nigerian bag of rice $20-$25.

ironically, Imo has the most towns of any state in Nigeria, by far. Hardly anywhere qualifies as a village anymore.

Awo-Omamma
Mgbidi
Orlu
Oguta
Umuaka
Mbaise
Okigwe
Nkwerre
Amaigbo
Omuma
Arondizuogu
Ihioma
Awo idemili
Urualla
Mbano
and more

not counting the 5-6 towns around Owerri that are full scale urban centers now. Imo and Enugu people don't broadcast

AsiwajuNdigbo:

Fulani destroyed islam in arewa. Hausa and Kanuri and Yoruba people practiced true Islam in the olden times even before nigeria.

Do you know something? I did not even know Kanuri people had christians among their society until chibok issue came up. I was shocked. I said how can that be? Someone enlightened me and said "have you ever heard that Borno kill southerners or christians during riot in north? " I said no. He said how about yoruba, have you heard yorubaman riot and kill christians? I said no. He then said anywhere fulani has settled in nigeria religious bloodshed settles there with them also because their islam practice is a cult practice, notthe orthodox. He said they practice ritualistic islam, using blood spillage to propagate their expansion.

Now look at East, we have never had problem with muslim settlers from anywhere even though we are not a muslim society. Lately fulani population in our land has gone up and now we aee getting more reports of religious clash in East. Imagine that.

God will punish fulani. We must sack them. Infact, fulani is a non entity in East. They must first prove their readiness to abide peacefully in our land before we recognize them as bonafide settler.

My brother as much Yoruba and Igbo harass and antagonize each other i have never seen anything beyond threats. No bloodshed. Kanuri live in East, Tiv live in East, Nupe live amongst us, Jukun, Bachama, even Kabba and Idoma and Igala all live in East. Why is it only fulani the troublemaker? We reject this evil in Jesus name.

Wallahi until fulani population is totally converted from their occultic Islam to conventional and orthodox Islam they will never stop shedding people blood. They are condemned. They are kaffirs.

You make a very good point. We are partly to blame because we're always saying 'the north, the north'. But this never happens in the NW (until Boko Haram). It's always where there's a fulani population. I don't know what is making them choose this lifestyle of violence and backwardsness but whatever it is, everyone is wise now.

The issue is not 'the north'.

Everytime i see a post and they call on northern 19 states I modify it and remind them they are only 12 states in arewa, not 19, and the twelve are sharia states.

Even in the sharia ones, Fulani are well understood as immigrants

Please desist from the consumption of Fulani cows

These herdsmen aren't business men. People keep saying that ppl shouldn't eat their cows. Whether you eat it or not they don't care and it doesn't concern them. They're not concerned with the business aspects of what they're doing. If they're looking for new territory, what you eat doesn't concern them.

Ibadan was a mass of dingy houses but Awolowo realized how damaging it would be to have a city with a skyline that looks like a massive ghetto and he had to build the cocoa house, a few other private investors built similar high rises and it helped them to have a small section they can always showcase to the world.

We are lucky in Igboland to have cities with presentable houses built by individuals, our governors can and should be made to do more. Owerri and Enugu need to have tushed up CBD's.

That his plan failed, Ibadan is still a ghetto and still looks like a ghetto
