Watched this video. This is circumstantial. Only ONE Akwa Ibom woman spoke and the location for this was certainly not Akwa Ibom. This is no proof that the majority of Akwa Ibom is agitating for Biafra.

What is the connection between IGWEOCHA and Ikot-Abasi?

Someone can't even understand what he reads. Igweocha is the HEADQUARTERS of IPOB which have been said repeatedly by IPOB themselves. Therefore of what correlation of Igwe ocha to Ikot Abasi. I don't know the leaders of the group in question wouldn't celebrate a group of boys arrested on their behalf getting released. Explain to me why you Niggeria speaks about Nigerians that reside outside of your nation and even use them to chest beat.

After all, they claim ipob has no support in River state and an ipob group opened in Oyigbo recently likewise in etche. Hell even the Jewish rabbi that came to sign for his behalf is from igbo community in River state.

You and I know that Ibibios are not at the forefront of any Biafran agitation. Go to Uyo, Eket, Ikot Ekpene, Oron, Etinan, Itam, etc, you will NEVER find any relic or sign of Biafra or the Biafran agitation there. It's just so sad that you had to lie with the largely peaceful Ibibios in order to make an unexistent point that the Biafran agitation transcends Igbo/Igboid groups.

I really don't care about Biafra or the agitation for it. That is your fundamental right as humans. However, always acknowledge the fundamental rights of others likewise. I have NEVER seen or heard of any Biafran rally in Ibibioland, Urhoboland, Itsekiriland, Efikland, among others in the South-South region. All Biafrans rallies and propaganda come from the East/Igbo/Igboid groups.

This is not to say there won't be a tiny minority of people from the non-Igboid groups who don't align with the Biafran cause. I would be foolish to deny that. However, even in the original Biafran secession, there were Yorubas that supported and fought for Biafra. Did that make all Yorubas Biafrans?

My advice for all Biafrans is that they should limit their agitations to their region alone. If other groups are interested in the cause, the groups should show some form of commitment. Igbos were not given any right to speak on behalf of any other group in Nigeria. We all have our rights to self-determination and we should be allowed to express it however we see fit.

If the minorities want Biafra, they will overwhelmingly agitate for it in their cities. In Asaba, there have been Biafran rallies; proving that the Asaba people MAY be open towards the idea. So also in Port Harcourt and a small pocket of towns in the South. However, none whatsoever has been observed in Uyo, Calabar, Warri, Sapele, Abraka, Ughelli, Eket, Oron, Ikot Ekpene, Ogoja, Yenagoa, Twon-Brass, Benin-City, etc. This shows that the people DO NOT welcome the idea and are not interested. If a few persons are, then it is solely personal, just the Yoruba soldiers and Belgian mercenaries that aided the Biafran war.

Last we checked... igboland predominately SE and non igboland prefominately Akwa ibom are the highest palm oil producers of the state no? Therefore prior to introducton of crude oil, igbo and ibibio/annang/efik have been feeding the country.

Oya fast forward to when crude oil was discovered. Ironically the ones feeding una didn't change.

First of all, igboland extends past SE. There are igbolands in modern day SS which even I am part of. I'm igbo but I'm not SE. I'm igbo from delta state. Likewise there are igbo from rivers state, cross rivers, benue state, etc.

Second of all, excluding Akwa Ibom, the largest crude oil producing areas were Igbo areas forcefully carved out of Imo and Abia state and attached to River state. Just because your government forcefully carved them out, ignored their request to be put back with their kins and kith and try shamelessly to deny their ethnic group existence and name them just be their nickname aka ndoki, Asa, etc as their "ethnic group" even though they themselves still call themselves igbo and proud of it does not remove it being an igbo territory.
