Sports10 Top Most Lucrative Kit Deals by ikenna58(op): 2:56pm On Jul 18, 2014
#1 Manchester United

Kit Maker: Adidas
Worth: £75 million Per Year
Manchester United recently shocked the football world when they signed a gigantic kit deal with Adidas worth £750 million for ten years starting from the 2015 season which is the most expensive kit deal in the world. The Old Trafford outfit previously had a deal with Nike worth £25.4 million a year but the American company decided not to renew the contract after it expires after which their German rivals stepped in.

#2 Real Madrid

Kit Maker: Adidas
Worth: £31 Million Per Year
Real Madrid have the second most lucrative deal in world football and receive £31 Million per year from Adidas. The German brand has been associated with Los Blancos since 1998 and has been growing stronger ever since.

#3 Arsenal

Kit Maker: Puma
Worth: £30 Million Per Year
Arsenal received the third most valuable deal in world football and the second most in the Premier League when they teamed up with German sports manufacturer Puma, who will produce the Gunners’ kits from the 2014 season onwards.

#4 Barcelona

Kit Maker: Nike
Worth: £27 Million Per Year
Barcelona and Nike have a long partnership dating back to 1998 much like their rivals Real Madrid have with Adidas. Barcelona’s current deal with Nike see’s them receive £27 million per year but that figure could go up soon.

#5 Liverpool

Kit Manufacturer: Warrior Sports
Worth: £25 Million Per Year
Liverpool created history back in 2012 when they signed a £25 Million kit deal with American sportswear manufacturer Warrior Sports who took over from Adidas. The Anfield club held the record in England until it was broken by Arsenal and Manchester United respectively.

#6 Chelsea

Kit Manufacturer: Adidas
Worth: £20 Million Per Year
The Blues have been associated with Adidas, who will produce their kits until 2018, since 2006. The deal with Adidas has gone through a number of extensions and is currently worth £300 million for ten years.

#7 Bayern Munich

Kit Manufacturer: Adidas
Worth: £16 Million Per Year
Adidas originated in Germany but it’s surprising that they only pay £16 million to Bayern Munich, who are the biggest club in the country, to produce their kits. However many players from the German team who recently won the World Cup play for Bayern Munich so you can expect that figure to go up soon.

#8 Inter Milan

Kit Manufacturers: Nike
Worth: £15 Million Per Year
Italian giants Inter Milan are another team who have been associated with Nike for a long time. The Milan based outfit have had kits manufactured by Nike since 1998 and will continue to be produced since 2018.

#9 Manchester City

Kit Manufacturer: Nike
Worth: £12 Million Per Year
Nike signed a kit manufacturing contract with Manchester City back in 2012 when they had just been crowned Premier League champions. The deal is currently valid for six years but that number could go up if City maintain their dominance in English football.

#10 AC Milan

Kit Manufacturer: Adidas
Worth: 12 Million Per Year
Adidas rekindled their relationship with AC Milan in 2006 and have a contract with the Italian giants until 2018. Adidas have been lucky for Milan as they have won the Serie A, Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup and the Italian Supercup while associated with the German company.

Oh they are stil ranting and panting over this issue?
It seems its so easy creating confusing amongst some peeps here, as well as bring out the best in others!

The weak rants, while the strong counsels.

Since una sabi how to talk, let me think of what else to say to cause commotion. Those that knows how to use swear words should get ready. Una never see anything yet, I dey come!

Mastersplinter, well done bro.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by ikenna58(m):
You wouldn't see many laughable performance from top referees like what was on display tonight...

A peculiar case was an instance where the referee looked behind him and sighted a player down on the turf... He just blew a free kick in favour of the player not knowing what led to the player laying down on the turf, or whether he just feigned injury just to get attention!

We rarely see africans holding top positions globally or getting involved in many top decision making... Most of those few who manages to get there makes a mess of the whole thing. Africans have a way of imploding and getting overwhelmed on world stage when it matters most!

@OkeyJames Africa is so backward and will continue to be until corruption, impunity and lack of respect for the rule of law is eradicated or brought to the barest minimum! More should bother u as to why after all the international assistance and foreign aid africa is still wretched and underdeveloped, and not about a correct statement I made.

@Dpress I am trying to be meticulous on the kind of response I give to u, trying not to sound insulting... But on a lighter note, it shouldn't be any business of mine if u hold me in high esteem or not, should it? And that u think u are wrong holding me in high esteem, that should be your personal problem; not mine nor anyone on this thread, shouldn't it? Don't worry bro, you have succeeded in getting the attention you so crave for! On a more lighter note, don't over shake your head so you don't develop unnecessary headache, cos you are OYO!

And yes, that algerian referee was sh1t tonight!

SportsBrazil 1-7 Germany - The Records. Broken by ikenna58(op): 12:51am On Jul 09, 2014
- The biggest-ever winning margin in a World Cup semi-final.
The previous best were Hungary's 6-1 hammering of Sweden in
1938 and West Germany's 6-1 win against Austria in 1954.

- Brazil equalled their biggest-ever margin of defeat. Their
previous heaviest loss was 6-0 to Uruguay in the 1920 Copa
America.

- Brazil conceded 11 goals at World Cup 2014, equalling the number they shipped in 1938.

- Brazil's first home defeat in a competitive match since 1975
when they lost 3-1 to Peru in the Copa America semi-finals.

- The first time Brazil had ever conceded seven in a World Cup
match. They have only conceded more once in any fixture, an
8-4 loss to Yugoslavia in a friendly in 1934.

- Miroslav Klose became the leading scorer in World Cup finals.
His goal was his 16th, one more than former Brazil striker
Ronaldo.

- Klose also became the first man ever to play in four World
Cup semi-finals.

- Klose has been on the winning side 16 times at the World
Cup, equalling the record set by former Brazil full-back Cafu.

- Thomas Muller's goal was Germany's 2000th in all matches
played. Fritz Becker got their first in 1908.

majekdom2: let's see if we still got geniuses on here or perhaps they went with the 240 deleted pages .. Here are some brain teasers :
1 what invention let's you look right through a wall
2 I saw a boat full of people , yet there was no single person on the boat , why ?
3. What bank never has money ?
1. A window
I agree with savant on the other two answers he provided...

@Tolutweety IMO I think most people lost the morale coming here after over 240 pages of core info was wiped off!! On my part, I realised there was nothing else to discuss... Perhaps when we start getting those success mails, then here will be bubbling again.

3) They confirm your age using a newly developed technology to ascertain its nt football age that u are using.
4) They chk your eyes to cnfirm they can see very long distance, like from the earth to jupiter.

Hope we are all doing fine?....saying hello to all
However I'd like to point this out:
Pages 1-17 (last post january) was mostly on d application process, now continued with "return of nairaland" and "awaiting shl results". This is a very WIDE discontinuity. No info abt 1st test invite and format, 2nd test invite and format. Yes, to us we may not see it that bad cos we are just here to share real time info.
What happens when the next trainees try to find info from dis thread?....then it may not make sense to them, maybe till after d shl test.
Just a suggestion, I know most of us may not subscribe to us creating a new thread..so as we continue here,@least for the sake of continuity for visitors or future aspirants, some few guys could just give a recap of necessary info abt their 1st and 2nd test experience. #justmythought# afterall, there's no important info for now.

Cheers and welcome back
