The deep hatred between the SWers and SEers exhibited in this thread is the very reason why the breaking up of Nigeria is not wise and will lead to the greatest ethnic cleansing and human disaster in the history of the world. I am sure you do not believe your own garbage. SW is the only region in Nigeria that has any viable industries left. Lagos alone accounts for almost 70 percent of industries in Nigeria.
Sango-Ota and Abgara estate in Ogun state have more industries than the entire SE region! If you care, please list the major industries by name in SE and let's compare with Ogun alone. I mean functional corps and not some mom and pop crap. I forgot, all the industries in Lagos and Ogun are owned by Ibos.

the whole idea of the shout of oil is to keep nigeria as one, What happen is that, nigeria govt is scared to collect taxes from nigerian. And even britian could not collect taxes from northerners.

So what happen is that Oil subsidy is use to collect taxes. So for every Oil shell or Oando oil go and buy abroad. The govt of nigeria collect taxes from it.

So the north dont really need the south. they can go buy their own oil and collect their taxes from it. Niger republic is doing the same.

i'm a 100% northener, north will never contribute anything to the development of nigeria provided our leaders are ibb, sultan and co. This force marriage aint working, if nigeria is divided, i'm very sure north will develop itself because they have fertile land, honest and hardworking people, same culture and religion also. CPC national secretary Bubu Galadima said many people in the north felt marginalized and excluded from wealth and opportunity.

"The people are sympathetic to certain principles and ideas," he told the BBC.

"If people feel they are being denied anything or an injustice is being meted out to them then there is a likelihood that they will take the law into their own hands and help themselves."

Mr Galadima, who is from near Damaturu, where last week's attack took place, raised the case of the former militants from the oil-rich Niger Delta who were given generous financial packages from the government to keep them out of trouble.

"Why didn't the president crush the Niger Deltans? That's a questions a lot of people in this part of the country are asking," he said.

"Instead they are being rewarded for the economic destruction they brought Nigeria. Why can't the same be true for Boko Haram?"[/b]
