I agree with Sule Lamido. Nigerians always want leaders who are not like the vast majority of them. We want our leaders to not act and think like the average Nigerian and we always deflect our collective failures on them as if they came from Mars and not from Nigeria. A forthright nation cannot consistently be producing thieves and brigands as leaders since its independence. Our leaders are our mirror. When I look at them, I see the average Nigerian complete with ineptitude and corruption.

Potholes will develop over time even on roads built with the best material money can buy. This is even more so in Lagos with its population and unregulated trailer traffic. In the US, some roads and bridges are closed to trailers, and all trailers have a weight limit so as not to damage interstate highways.
i will never buy those crap on bold!!

So far, north and northerners need development and education more than anything else. I honestly think these 2 things are the only missing puzzles for this group of people to be come unstoppable in Nigeria.
Once these missing puzzles come together the Yoruba and Igbo can just forget it.

Development can easily be attained with money, good leadership and dedication
Education can also be attained with endurance, patience and dedication.
But HONESTY and INTEGRITY are priceless, You can not learn or buy these 2 factors.

I also think these 2 factors are very common among northerners more than any other tribe in Nigeria. Therefore, if the missing puzzles are attained and combined with honesty and integrity, sky will immediately become the limit for the northerners in Nigeria and outside Nigeria.

Yorubas and Igbos, watch out!

ikenna

then if thats the case going by what u have written fuel consumption comes down to the climate the car is driven ( hot or cold weather)

wonder the reason it never shows up on the car manual. shocked grin

since the sensors triggers off the ECU to pump more fuel when it reaches cut off temperature abi

as for good mechanics for injector in naija, well im aware of thats, like they say once its gone replace it? once open thats it for them
Car Talk › Re: My Experience With Thermostat Removal by ikeyman00(m): 10:39pm On Sep 27, 2011
^^^^^^

yes ikennna u know your stuff but then i still think i might be right in some places  grin grin

However be least assured that emm those cars that gave up at some time in nigeria emm i bet most of them uses carburetor

injectors spray fuel precisesly unlike carburator!!!

so then again time shall tell as injector is on test
Car Talk › Re: My Experience With Thermostat Removal by ikeyman00(m): 9:07pm On Sep 27, 2011
@@@@

hmm this thermosstat factor is something (neverless am not an auto expert) that i quite dnt get from all angles

But then commonsense shouldn't be far fetched.

If we have to go by the fundamentals of locomotion then we will consider there is piston, cam shaft, open-closed valve.

Then at point A air goes into some cylinder in the engine with the valve A open while valve B is closed which allows the mixture of air and fuel then the explosion that occurs drive the piston to half cycle while the remaining cycles completes when there is a repeation of the same reaction, then we get a complete rotation abi

cuz the cycle has been synchronised; hence the cylinders fires at the right time

Consequently the engine block is a heat conductor as you know and will get hotter to expand (which will kill the engine) at some point if it isn't cooled to lower the temp, then this is where the argument comes in.

Now i dnt see how the temp of an engine body affect the explosion or combustion that goes in the cylinderhuh?? if that's the case u can argue bomb might not produce enough or maximam explosion in winters or cold weather

the same goes with an electric iron; the thermostat there is more of saving energy and help in regulating the iron temp so it doesnt get too hot through the circuit breaker i guess.

then it does seem to me that thermstart on the engine is more of saving electric energy for the car to utilize elsewhere

i have been driving my car without thermostart and without having to deal with high fuel consumption and I'm sure there are lots of other out there

therefore i think taking the thermostart off might be the best way to solve over heating if the need arise!!

I'm glad that the constitutional amendment in progress will include firm residency provisions such that if a citizen has lived in any state in Nigeria continuously for more than 3years, he becomes a resident of that state and will have the same legal rights as any other resident of the state, indigene or not. We will, Insha Allah, stall the amendment process if this provision is not included.
the same way we the people are anticipating the end of 419 shaira laws as against NIgeria constitutional laws. By right shaira should only be allowed to have a breath of fresh air in the mosques premises nothing more and nothing less

yes insha allah and as well in jesus name amen!

Politics › Jonathan And His Handling Of Terror Issues by ikeyman00(op): 8:23pm On Sep 21, 2011
Well of all things i think commonsense should prevail. U do not have to be a whiteman to realise that

It quite obvious that commonsense is no where to found on the way President Jonathan tackling Boko harem saga .

U do not catch a terrorist by sending out soldiers on the entrance to Abuja to carry out randam stop and search on the vehicles that plys the route.

This isn't rocket science, if President Jonathan is serious and got commonsense he will suprise himself on how fast he have moved in dealing with these lethal vampires in the north.

The first thing SSS should have done to study the crime scene of each of any attack, record and log down their strategy.

From what we read from the press we have seen in few occasion these coward ride on a bike to blow up police station and we also have seen drive by shooting on okada

We also noted that Boko harem have a base and a strong hold in certain part of the north

What then the SSS should try to infiltrate their network by hiring some informant in the mosques, roads sides, police, churches etc and also put up a ramson on anyone that provide useful information

They should as well have SSS officers scavenging the place ; couple with mobile call monitoring to scans for some numbers

Nevertheless it could be said due to lack of all mentioned above these northern vampires has been able to get away with all the mistakes they have made. Bin laden was killed just for one mistake; the mobile call made by his closest aid which was eventually used to track him down

The downside of things is boko harem need every weight behind them so they could propel the attention and fear they desperately need; therefore they can go on and attribute any incidence to their accord
