Imagine someone generated almost $180k from geo domain name business in 2019. If I have seen this figure before, I would never ask that is it possible to make consistent cash flow from geo domain Name business.
They are great advantages, it seems those two things you mentioned reflex at PayPal figure because It the highest of the three platforms. Bit by Bit, God's Willing we shall reach there! Na time |

plagiarism1: Guys, please what do you think might be wrong with Squadhelp? This week has been crazy for me on SH. SH had been aggressively and maliciously wicked. I have submitted over 30 unregistered names on SH but, all were rejected. I am not much of a novice on SH, I have over 40 names, but names I expected approval from SH were rejected.
Is anyone experiencing anything similar? Could it be that they don't want unregistered names again or I my getting something wrong now than before? I even planned registering 500 names on SH this year, but now, 100 looks impossible? I believe they are trying to reduce drastically, number of unregistered names. Cos of the registration and renewals they have to deal with. Just take a lil break and come back fresh |

Josmila: Oh wow, didn't know this..
Again, you're saying you only get to pay let's say $8 only which is the transfer cost? If that's the case, that's such a good bargain Yes, that's only what u have to pay. A very good bargain. 1. U are running away from less reputable registrars 2. U are saving whole lot of naira. A real lot of it! |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by ikhalyfah(m): 2:01pm On Jan 15, 2020 |
Josmila: Isn't there a cost associated with transfers or so I thought Yes, for epik is $8+, but it increases 1yr to your domain life, so it's just as though u have renewed@ 8$ instead of that $15 or so ur current (promo) registrar is charging |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by ikhalyfah(m): 1:55pm On Jan 15, 2020 |
A little something.. Always try to maximize your profit by taking advantage of promos. Yes, these registrars giving promo have high renewal fees. But i think you can register at $1-$3 with them, when domain is due to expire u can transfer to a bigger registrar at $8-$9 which most of them increase one year to the domain's life. Thereby spending $10-$11 on each name instead of the regular $16-18 Do the maths and see how much u can save in naira..
I just checked and noticed i have registered 71 names since I started, ALL AT THE COST OF $261, average of $3.7/name
During renewal i intend to move all names i wish to renew to Epik, at cost of $8+/name which grants me 1yr additional on each name...
In case of registrars that have no account with Dan, u can chill 60days b4 starting outbound (for outboundable) names, so as to save yourself some stress.
Correct me if I'm wrong please! |

Geofavor: You've made some valid points as usual. I have since known that about 80% of sales made here never leave the marketplace. In fact, there is a sales report of about 6 names by brand uche almost a year ago. All the names are still pointing to dan as I type this. However, from my own little experience, it doesn't necessarily mean the names are not better in quality than the ones that are in use. Any of several reasons might have caused the name to remain in the marketplace or expired without being used. For instance, I sold a name to an end user in march last year. Later, I pitched the plural to him. He snubbed me. Regardless, I kept checking the status of the name I sold him. He never took it from the marketplace. I followed up asking him why he hasn't taken possession of the name and if he needed help with that. He snubbed. It was later when I tracked him down I discovered that he had relocated to another city. The name was a city + one-word service. Another reason could also be that enduser moved on to a different venture after purchasing the name. He probably changed his mind. It happens. This doesn't mean the name isn't of better quality than those that were bought and used. It simply means the end user wasn't the right buyer. But, as at the time of purchase, both the seller and the buyer didn't know this.
The first name I sold is currently being used as the main website name. And this name is nowhere as catchy and memorable as some that are still chilling in the marketplace after purchase. I even followed this suggestion you made and registered 2 names that are similar to it (since it's in use). They didn't sell. Only one offer, and the lead disappeared after I countered.
IMHO Another reason could be, The enduser purchased the name at a cheap price of 150-350 just to prevent his competitors from landing their hands on it! And if we are to ignore the type of names 80% of users don't put into use, then i think the only names that will be available to purchase will be from a (backorder) auctions. I don't know about y'all, but me my pocket neva deep to de enta auctions oooo |

richkal: It might be true to some extent. But in the second survey, he said a large chunk of the revuenue is generated from existing customers who bought domain names from him. How??, by selling another domain name?? Maybe. Or by helping the end user to build new websites on those domain names?? Possibly.
More so, Rohit Goyal, the guy behind Domain Mojito, was the one who posted the stat in the image above (shared by Beckplanet) on LinkedIn. He owns a website (http://www.smehelp.in) which focus on internet marketing service, and website development is one of the services.
He might not be the one who developed all the new websites, but I believe he part take in some of them. You could be right. But up until i take domaining as full term business MAYBE, i will only sell domains w/o any sites. more sales to us all! |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by ikhalyfah(m): 9:36am On Jan 15, 2020 |
richkal: 6% of 600 equals 36. And, this means that 36 of the domain names sold is developed into new websites, which is lots of additional money to pick up from the table. I think what they mean here is that it was developed by the buyers themselves |

IdeasPro: No, but to build website for sale will take less than an hour. However, the value added is in geometric progression. We are flipping domain name arithmetically. Work less, earn more!
You don't have to build website for all your domain names. With your domain experience now, you should be able to identify the diamonds in the rough and develop them. If you decide to register a domain name, I think there is a business idea that you want to pitch to potential buyers, right? Why not demonstrate that business idea to them? Now, I prefer to buy a house than looking for plot of land to buy and build because you become a house owner immediately and not land owner.
Yes! Yes! Yes! At least if no immediate buyer within 90 days. Build a simple website with WordPress on it and within the remaining 9 months before the first year of domain registration expires, a buyer will come to you (inbound marketing) and not your outbound marketing.
And if there is affiliate program in that niche, populate your website with affiliate links. Affiliate commissions become the icing on the cake. It is all about common sense. Just buy a digital product from veteran internet marketers and see how they sell other products you never bargained for to you through up-selling, cross-selling and even "down-selling." Sir, i do understand what u pointing out, thou not as much as u would understand since u are farrr more into it. But this end users sometimes tell u they have a domain, so what will they do with d one u are selling? So I don't expect them to BUY ANOTHER WEBSITE WHEN THEY HAVE ONE UP AND RUNNING. Also u may know better. But i believe if just by building website and doing nothing again would bring money, everybody would have been a millionaire with we design. I believe u have to monitise it, which will definitely take time (at least to someone that is new to it), talk more of monitising multiple websites.. All in all its a brilliant idea sir. But to one that has been doing it for a very loong time like yourself, but to us that are only trying to sell all those bunch of domains we have, i believe we focus more on the domains |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by ikhalyfah(m): 11:33pm On Jan 14, 2020 |
richkal: you sell the domain name to the end user FIRST before you pitch idea of building website to the end user. The end user either accept or reject your pitch. If he accepts, more money to your pocket of course, if he rejects, no qualm, unto the next, life goes on. Now that u have singled this out, it's more like it! But u know some end users question us that if they already have a domain, what will they do with the one we are offering? I think it will be even more difficult to answer them when they ask "if they have a full running business website, what will they do with another?' |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by ikhalyfah(m): 10:59pm On Jan 14, 2020 |
richkal: One thing that is certain in the world of prospecting and outreaching is that WE GET MORE REJECTION THAN ACCEPTANCE, even in life as a whole. Just as you too know that one YES weighs far more than hundreds of NO. Perhaps you guys don't understand my point.
Whoever is more vast with the internet marketing business will understand that there other ways of selling ready made websites to the end users than contacting them. Flippa, FXInternational, DigitalPoint etc are examples platform to sell established website.
My Model Of Making More Money From Domain Name Sold
1. Sell And Transfer The Domain Name Successfully To The End User. (FrontEnd) $$
2. Pitch The Building Of Website On The Domain Name Bought ( First BackEnd) $$$
3. If First Back End Is Accepted, I'll Pitch Local SEO To The End User After The Website Is Built. (Second BackEnd) $$$
The worst responses someone can experience while pitching to the end users are either "Not Interested", " Derogatory Replies", or "No Response". But Buddie Entrepreneur Doesn't care irrespective of any response. I get what you are saying. It's indeed a good idea. But all it takes to reg a domain name is few secs. Can we say the same for websites? Secondly, there are domains one will never sell, so u should build a site that will never sell? 3rd, there are many with portfolio of over 300 domains, and the more they have the more chances of selling. So u suggest we should build as much websites to increase chances of selling? |
