Two things; either the aged woman was positive and Enugu health workers are not equipped and do not have the appropriate test kits for the virus or that change of environment illness killed her.

From the narrative, it is obvious that Enugu isn't equipped to take on coronavirus at the moment because I see no reason why the test would take three days when that of the world and Lagos' takes a day or hours.

Beyond negligence, it is wise to quarantine and isolate every one who came in contact with the deceased since the result could be false.

The so called isolation center looks like a community hospital. Other than Lagos, I sincerely doubt any other state in Nigeria can manage victims of the virus.

The State government will no doubt respond to save face and rescue itself fromthis embarrassment. Gburugburu is only interested in looking like an active governor. He is clueless as Buhari himself.

I guess the isolation dept in Parklane is or was in that bad shape because the hospital might not have handled any case that requires isolation in the past 5 years.

Aside that, Parklane is a big and busy hospital that shouldn't have any of it's department filled with debris.

The comments I've read about are very disappointing. This proposal should be applauded by all meaning Nigerians.
Coronavirus has no non cure at the moment so the best any government can do now is try to prevent the spread.
Isolation for upto 14 days is ideal as the incubation period is about that number of days too

Dear Nairalanders, I need your opinion urgently. The newly nominated CBN Deputy Governor Dr. Kingsley I. Obiora is from Oshimili in Delta State, which is in South South geopolitical zone. Why then is he representing South East in the CBN Board? Is there an overnight adjustment to the existing zonal structure or is it that zones and zonal boundaries don’t exist anymore? Does it mean that zone and tribe are the same, assuming that he’s Igbo? Can a Yoruba person from Niger, Kogi or Kwara represent South West in a Federal position?

Don’t get me wrong, Dr. Obiora is eminently qualified for the position. My question is only with respect to existing zonal arrangement.

Please I need your unbiased, matured and wise opinion on this.

Apologies, I don’t know his exact town in Delta State and didn’t bother because it’s not that relevant. What’s important is that he’s from Igbo (speaking?) part of Delta State in South South Nigeria and definitely not from South East and therefore shouldn’t represent SE.
