My friend, shut up, you ill -trained yoruba whoree.
Who cares about whatever drop of oil in ondo or whatever backward habitat in your imagination.
Lagos was supposed to have discovered since five years ago and yet no single drop of oil has been generated there.
I am sure you think oil is manufactured in your sango shrines.
What is this igbo tout saying? Lagos should have discovered oil 5 years ago? Is that why you're screaming like an igbotic lunatic? Next time, grab shovel and go help them dig faster.

These shameless igbo boys need to be found and arrested.

It's only in Nigeria this type of ish can happen without fear of punishment. Pedophillia is illegal in the eyes of the law.

Bia, what is it with known Yoruba tribalists hounding Bigfrancis and blackmailing him with the MOD ish?

Bigfrancis is right, it is a known fact that Oba is of Edo origin and it's existence in Yoruba today is a testament to Bini influence on Yorubas.
From another igbo bigot coming to cheerlead his fellow ignorant. Lemme guess, your source is bigfrancis grin

Why do you keep in involving igbos in issues that does not concern them?
Typical igbo tout washing his family laundry online.
Igbos are the only Nigerians claiming that ondo oil belongs to other states because of their hatred and jelosi. May they kwenchhhhhhh!

If we did not call out the ignoramus he will continue to claim that as a fact.

I had to call out Yoruba people for not correcting him.

When I first saw his ignorant post, I was shocked. I thought I was reading things o.

No wonder Nigeria is not moving forward because uneducated fools are given jobs. He goes around with an air of intellectualism but when you probe him, you discover he lacks basic knowledge and logic.
I heard He even claimed that Ijebu Igbo and egba people from Ogun state are Igbos. Like wtf?

Noise. Show us historical evidence besides someone's blog post.

I can make a website and distort history too and you'd eat it up.

Ahh! Makes sense but is this "Esusu" pronounced like "Osu"?
Esu- a Yoruba mythological God. Esusu, I believe means monetary contribution.

Other similar terms:

Araaro- every morning | aaro -morning
Alale- every evening | ale - evening
Ododun- every year |Odun - Year

I am not derailing the thread and, just like others, only corrected some of the words the wordlist the op provided. Others, Urhobos I believe, have corrected him on some of the words he listed as Urhobo to not be Urhobo words but gave their actual Urhobo words.

Anyway, I have made my point.
Have a piece of shame.

Your evidence is a blog from someone who may just be as ignorant as you? And you wonder why this is the only evidence?

We need history classes in Nigeria. Awwww this is getting pathetic.

Expect to hear lamentations from Ekiti soon.

Fayose is going full IGR mode on their ass!!

1,000 naira state levy on every head of cow about to be butchered, every lorry road of construction item, & 5,000 levy for civil disturbance if you are throwing owambe....

You can no longer put things in front of your household to sell, you pay 1,000 to local government, people have removed signages from front of their shops cos they dont want to pay AD levies...

He is about to demolish Ado main market (mall to be built in it's place) from tomorrow with no temporary relocation for the traders....

My aunt said they are very sad but can't say nothing cos his thugs will treat your F up....

I don't have a problem with IGR , I'm just laughing at my people cos they chased Fayemi away cos of almost same reasons.... cheesy
The bolded has been in place since Fayemi's term. I think it's a marvelous idea. We need a cleaner environment. That's why I love Ekiti. It's so clean.

I hope they cry so they can realize the foolish mistake they made.

I don't pity them. They must learn by force.

Honestly I'm so disappointed with the Ekiti people that I don't even touch their threads. The only thing I hear about Fayose is market this and Buhari that. No development, no infrastructure, no city/state planning. Nothing!!

Abi now Aunty mi grin grin cheesy There's a renowned Itsekiri character on this forum who keeps trying to disassociate himself from Yorubas and can we blame him? He probably thinks it's because of Oil.

Awolowo's era is not the same with this era, things have changed. We had some chemistry with them then, but that was the 60s and I don't think we've discovered oil then.

We've settled this in the earlier pages
Quite true. And the way Nigeria has treated this entity has not been right. Ko da.

Who knows how long the reclassification of Yoruba culture and language has been going on in this section?

Most Yorubas don't even visit this section unless it's on front page.

Is there a thread on how "eko" is an Igbo word?

Bigfrancis21, I think we've had enough of the derailing of the thread via this proxy war. Enough is enough. There are loads of Urhobo people who never grew up at home and can't speak the language. This thread is to help them at least learn some words not for yoruba and igbos to come and start claiming superiority.
Yorubas could care less about which words are being used by Urhobo. Claiming that Yoruba words aren't Yoruba is insulting to more than 60milliin people.

Abagworo:
Igbos equally use nko. People should stop thinking in one direction. An Igboman will ask Ogor gi kwanu? or Ogor e nkor? depending on the dialect of Igbo which is in hundreds. Let us just know that Igbo-Edo-Yoruba spoke one language in distant past and have experienced inter migrations even in more recent times.
Nko is a Yoruba word, used as a question marker like "se".

Yoruba has become such a national language over time that you guys are beginning to see it as your native language.

Even the pidgin English has adopted Yoruba words as slangs.

50 years from now, we'll have this same conversation about "wahala", "jor/jare" etc.
