Please how log does it take to receive back passport from Canadian embassy after submitting via vfs?

I submitted my passport last week tuesday which is more than a week ago, the passport reach the embassy the following day but I've not gotten any update whereas my wife who is the dependant which we both submitted together got her passport 2days after submission

does anyone have insight on hhow long it takes to same thing is happening to me too,but am being advised to go there that it might be ready,did u try going there?receive passport back for study permit please?

I think November should be between end of February and end of March. I submitted 13th of November.

Good day everyone, IRCC updated my application on the 13th of February and I was refused😞

Application Submitted: 5th, September 2023
Biometric done: 19th, September 2023
Biometric completed: 20th, September 2023
Application refused: 13th, February 2024 due to insufficient funds.

Please guys when can I reapply again? And how much pof can I use. Thank you 🙏
Sorry you can reapply and work on your reason of refusal u can probably order a GCMS note to be sure of the reason.pls was

I need help/advise please.

I applied for a Canada visa. It has been approved and I received a letter to submit my passport.

I also received a ‘correspondence letter’ advising me of the validity of my biometrics. My biometrics expires before my passport. They told me in the passport request letter that my visa cannot be longer than my passport validity (which is fine). But they also told me in the biometrics correspondence letter that my visa cannot be longer than my biometrics validity.

During my application I stated that I had biometrics on file (thinking that visa will be according to passport date). I didn’t know it will be limited to biometrics validity.

The letter also said I can extend my biometrics validity by paying for a new one and getting another 10 years validity. Does anyone know goes to go about this?

HOW DO I GET A LETTER FROM THE IRCC TO ENABLE MAKE PAYMENT AND BOOK A BIOMIMETIC APPOINTMENT SO AS TO GET 10 YEARS VALIDITY?

i got an email to submit my daughter's passport for visa stamping.

I intend to send it via dhl to their lagos office.

how do i go about this? are there documents i need to attach and any fee i need to pay?
