hulk616: your track record has shown you like DC more . So your list having that overrated joker actor just shows your list is biased Me? DC? God forbid, DC is the worst people at making films that one can enjoy, but I still believe Joaquin Phoenix is the best actor of this decade - every of his movie I have watched is on point, the way he transforms himself to fit the characters renaissance is amazing You shud watch Her, The Master, Inherent Vice, You were never really here. And do you know he acted in Gladiator 2000? |

ibnlawal: Just like someone said GOT is greater than Breaking Bad. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I don't know what got me watching Breaking Bad sef, when I watched half of season 1, I just ended there but after like a month of watching 24 and Lost, I decided to finish the season 1 and I never regretted watching that film, greatest series of all times, better than GOT(with that ridiculous ending) by far |

blackjack21: Well, when aired to the public, opinions are not personal anymore. any person that want his opinion to remain truly personal, he should keep them to himself. u have a point, and my list is not so personal because I compiled my list and before posting it, I checked different lists online and my list was definitely well thought out seeing there was not much difference....... and all the lists I checked none contained Samuel L. Jackson's name |

kendrick9: Ok list but you omitted Christopher Waltz and Tom Cruise.... Pattinson really? You included Chris Evans but no Will Smith? And Jamie Foxx deserves a mention too I would have added Jamie Foxx to the list, but his films like Annie, Amazing Spiderman 2, Horrible Bosses, Baby Driver, Sleepless, Due Date and the rest,.... well most of them, he did not play the main actor, so it didn't count much, but I'm definitely waiting for the animation film, Soul to come out and prove me wrong about it I love Waltz buuut he won't still be on my list anyways, sorry and Tom Cruise has not been consistent in his movies that much. Most of them like Rock of Ages, Edge of Tomorrow, Jack Reacher were good but the rest were not that successful Robert Pattinson shud even be among sef becos of people hate the twilight movie that's why I no put am sef, with movies like Damsel, Highlife, the Lighthouse winning multiple awards and him acting as Batman in 2021, u will want to watch those films first to know how talented he is |

blackjack21: Yeah, so according to you Samuel L Jackson is the all time best actor, right? Yet he doesn't deserve to be on a list of best actors for the decade of 2010-2020 where he featured in nearly 10 movies, that's your conclusion? Well done! Yes, sir, u shud give d other actors credit, dere are many actors dat did a better job than he did this decade, can't u just accept that, eh? |

blackjack21:
The Banker Hitman Bodyguard Unthinkable Django Unchained The Hateful eight Kong Skull Island Shaft Glass
Indeed, not prominent in most. Can we just finally just get to the conclusion? The conclusion is that one of his best work of 2010 to 2019 is his film, Mother and Child which u did not even add to ur list. Reprise u, he is definitely the best actor ever to live on earth but in my list, he is no where to be found because he wasn't in top performance than any other actors on my list. But anyways that's my honest opinion |

alexistaiwo: I almost died of laughter when he said that he is only known as "Nick Fury" Someone that came in after one hour of scene time in a classic like "Django Unchained" and somehow managed to steal the show Motherf..... Novice watt! Steal wich show? The only reason he was in that movie was because he was popular and because Tarantino loved his voice |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Illusioneffect(m): 10:31am On Apr 13, 2020 |
alexistaiwo: You are obviously new to movies. I have lost count of movies where the plot and everything was criticized but the actors' performance were critically acclaimed. Is it his job to write the script? I am talking about his performances in the aforementioned movies. I am less concerned about box office figures. it looks like most of the actors here, u haven't watched any of their films, and no matter what, the story affects how an actor acts in a film. So if the story is not intriguing enough, the actor won't be as good as he really is. I wish i have the video, he admitted it himself that the story of glass didn't define him as an actor that's why he left. And guy, i have every Samuel Jackson movie out there and i still believe his worst performance is most of the movies on your list |

Galapagous: No tom cruise (edge of tomorrow, jack reacher, mission impossible) Ben afleck Rosamund pikes(gone girl) Samuel l Jackson Seth Rogens Chalize theron Seth macfarlane (a million ways to die in the west) James mckavoy Adam sandler(blended, the longest yard) Christian bale Matt Damon Nice list sha. Even open my eye to some movies I haven't seen yet. Nice one, but most of the actors in ur list appeared in only one critically acclaimed films... like Rosamund Pikes, she would have been on my list if she had acted in more films |

alexistaiwo: [s] you are the one who should watch more movies before making useless and nonsensical list devoid of logical cognitive reasoning. This are just some of the movies he starred in the year under review. The Banker Hitman Bodyguard Unthinkable Django Unchained The Hateful eight Kong Skull Island Shaft Glass
Should I go on? He beat at least 80% of those overrated actors you put on the list hands down, no contest! [/s] My guy, now tell me if he ever won anything in this movies u just mentioned. Even u don't know anything about dis films. Even S. Jackson had said that Unthinkable and Kong skull Island were one of the worst films he had ever acted in, most of the films u put here, he didn't even act a prominent part in. He did great in Glass, but just check, it has the worst box office returns ever of 2019 and it had the worst storyline ever, and it would have been made as a sequel if not that Samuel Jackson left the franchise before it was even released. Let me not just talk about shaft, abeg |

DriggityDre: Lol. Samuel Jackson's most notable role around 2010-2019 is starring as Nick Fury. Quote me if I'm wrong though. I haven't seen a lot of his movies from the period of 2010 till date. His best movie to me was Pulp Fiction (1994).. Aah, Lemme not even get started on that one . don't mind d guy, the only thing I remember of the guy dis ten years is wen he said mother |

oyaskii: Little Women (2019).. This was a very brilliant movie i must..I very solid adaption of Louisa May Alcott Classic....Greta Gerwig did excellently well writing this for screen and directing as well..and to think she's the partner to Noah Baumbach (who made one of the best movie of last year) tells me theatrical greatness runs in that household..
And Saoirse Ronan is phenomenal...so young an actress...so artistically gifted.
A solid 8/10 and my Fav scene below She was amazing, one of the best actresses of her time |
