Education / Re: Nigeria Has The 10th Finest English accent In The World – CNN Poll reveals by IloveGH: 11:48pm On Sep 20, 2014 |
OXYGENO1: nigerians and their dumbness and foolishness. A poll done on Facebook and u people are celebrating. With the population of nigerians on Facebook what should we expect.Any fool can conduct a poll . LMAO! So the poll was conducted on face book and nigerians with their large population voted massively for their own accent I wonder how many non nigerians voted for the nigerian accent BTW, Evidence base research says nigerians are shorter than Ghanaians, they refuse to accept it Evidence base research says Ghanaian men are more endowed under than nigerian men, they refuse to accept it Evidence base research says a high percentage of nigerians survive on less than $2 a day, they refuse to accept it Evidence base research says 77% of nigerians are bleaching their skin, they refuse to accept it (although they hate their dark skin) FACE BOOK research says nigerians have sexy accent, they are popping champagne and celebrating There is God oo 3 Likes |

egopersonified: Op, please help me check for Ghana on that ranking. My mum keeps insisting they pronoun words the right way. Girl your mom is 100% correct. We do pronounce words the right way. We pronounce words according to the English dictionary, unlike nigerians who pronounce every English word exactly as they see it. There are certain rules in English words pronunciation, which I have noticed that nigerians don't know. For example, the letter 'O' is silent in certain words, but nigerians tend to pronounce it. If I ask you to pronounce the word 'WORK' I know you will say 'WOK' but the English dictionary says it is wrong because the 'O' should be silent. So when you remove the 'O' it becomes 'WRK'. Try and pronounce it and see how it would sound..... Definitely not 'WOK' Whenever I hear nigerians say "I am going to work" it sounds as if they are saying "I am going to walk". Just like a nigerian guy who said he was coming from work, and this white guy said "today is a very nice day to take a walk" LOL! He obviously didn't think omo naija was saying work and not walk This is what the English dictionary is trying to avoid by making the 'O' silent in certain words. Check the link below and listen to Oxford dictionary pronunciation of 'WORK' for both British and American. http://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/work_1 |

dicefrost: Seun , ban these Ghanians Aaaw, dude you sound extremely pained But your anger is towards the wrong set of people As they say, "There is no smoke without fire" so tell Seun to first ban all the nigerians who have made it their mission to bash/insult Ghana and Ghanaians at every little opportunity... When that is done, you will not see any Ghanaian coming here to also bash/insult nigeria and nigerians. So there's no need to ban the Ghanaians. Once their nigeria counterparts have been banned, the Ghanaians will have no reason to insult your people and country. END OF STORY My brother, it's obvious you are pained when Ghanaians smear mud on your faces and insult you as a nation. That is exactly how it pains Ghanaians here on NL when nigerians constantly smear mud on our faces and insult us as a nation. YOU CAN'T DISH OUT AND CRY FOUL WHEN YOU ARE SERVED WITH THE SAME DISH! What is good for the goose is also good for the gander, so stop crying foul 9 Likes |
Business / Re: Nigeria Cuts Gas Supply To Ghana Over Strike by IloveGH: 2:58pm On Sep 19, 2014 |
all4naija: If Nigeria cannot stand to provide constant gas supply to Ghana it should say so and pay for the breach of contract. I don't understand why the strike action in Nigeria has to be problem to another country, Ghana in this case. We should stop displaying this backward mentality in every respect of our businesses. This is unacceptable and should be criticized by all Nigerians. Keep speaking the truth bros! At least not all Nigerians think like our in-law iconize. 4 Likes |

Being FAT/OBESE does not make you the senior brother. It only makes you the overweight junior brother Better accept this fact and live long |

Although they have some similarities, I can still bet my last cent he is not, because Cameroonpride was very friendly with Ghanaians on this forum @ topic, Fulanis are very, very beautiful physically, no doubt about that. Especially the girls, they are eye catching Those traditional outfits are very beautiful and unique, and must be preserved for future generations. The masai of Kenya also comes to mind. |

Nayah: Calm down sis Nayah, I have never seen you hurt like this before Jiggaman was only defending his country, just as you are also defending your country. Did you not see when your countryman said apart from Nigeria the rest of West African countries are useless? That guy is always talking down on Ghana to appease Nigerians. So you need to advise him if you don't want Jiggaman to talk about your dear country Cameroon BTW, where is Cameroonpride? He was a true warrior for Cameroon on NL |
