It is unfortunate that oil price crash after the GEJ's dismal years affected monthly allocation to states and Rochas was one of the few governors that pay above 50 percent of the previous salary structure . No governor since the creation of Imo reached Rochas.

That Lagos is in debt (loans) to bring in development is a standard practice anywhere in the world . Has such loans contributed to the development of Lagos? Yes. So talk another thing.

If Rochas did well, I and many Imo people would have supported his son in law. We don't hate Uche Nwosu but Imo people were afraid that if Uche Nwosu becomes governor, the suffering in Imo State will continue. When Ihedioha won, he started paying pensioners again and restored workers salaries back to 100 percent yet Imo was not broke. We hate Hope Uzodimma but no matter how bad he can be, he can never be as bad as Rochas.

Fashola and all Lagos State governors can still do better than they did without borrowing.
Borrowing money to do projects is not development. Those borrowed money would be paid with interest. And any Lagos governor that focuses on repaying those funds would be seen as a governor that is not doing any project. So which governor would sacrifice to pay those debts. It can only keep increasing. That is complete failure in governance.

I am not biased here. We campaigned and voted in Rochas and chased Ohakim away because he was blackmailed to have beaten a Catholic priest. This was later confirmed to be false but by then Rochas has already become governor.

We thought Rochas was a good man but he was quick to show his true colors. All you know about Rochas must be a propaganda. He tried in his first tenure but unfortunately none of his road works still stand today as all were damaged before he left. What type of projects are that.

He stopped paying pensioners while paying all state workers 70 percent of their normal salaries. Which governor in Nigeria has ever done that.

He said he gave free education yet most parents even those that are poor withdrew their children from state primary and secondary schools to private schools because of poor education standards.

I don't like discussing about Rochas because I have not seen someone that is evil like that. But you can still believe whatever you want to about him.

It is obvious you know nothing about Imo especially when Ohakim ,with all his noise, governed IMO and when Rocha's took over. With the resources at his disposal and what he did with it ,a dead Rocha's is better than Peter Obi. Presently I don't like Rocha's after his selfish bid to turn IMO to a family estate but that is not enough to deny his achievement to accord Obi an underserved award. We have been around long before 1999, so tell us Obi's achievements that would warrant a promotion to national prominence in 2023. We are waiting.

As for Fashola and Lagos State government, Lagos is owing over one trillion naira and still look much like the old Lagos I know. I did my IT in Lagos during the time of Tinubu. At least I knew how Lagos was that time. I went to Lagos last during the second tenure of Fashola. I saw no difference. I thought I would miss road because of all the overhyping about Fashola. The only thing I liked and noticed in the new Lagos then was the reduction or disappearance of those agbero boys.

Presently Obiano has the best security record ,even by international standard, in the country ; , we can mention Amaechi's behemoth strides; Fashola's contributions, or Akpabio's efforts just to mention a few names - all whose records are in the public domain. I can agree with you on Fashola, Akpabio and Ngige. But my argument is that, Akwa Ibom, Lagos, Rivers government have a lot of money. Anambra government does not have such money but what Ngige and Peter Obi did with the little Anambra funds were commendable. If Akpabio, Fashola and Amechi used their states resources as Peter Obi did, Lagos, Akwa Ibom and Rivers would have been like Dubai.

You can't compare someone that receives 1 million naira as salary to someone that receives 100k.
If someone that receives 100k have a savings of 500k at the end of the year even after purchasing a small car for transport biz and the other one who receives 1 million have a venza and built a mansion in the town but owing the bank a sum of 50 million naira. Who achieved better?

Fashola plunged Lagos in debt. Lagos debt profile is more than a trillion naira. Peter Obi transformed Anambra and yet saved a lot of money for the state.

What is Lagos and Akwa Ibom states' monthly alocation compared to Anambra. Peter obi did much with Anambra little alocation while Akwa Ibom and Lagos are very rich states but the rate of development there is good but not commensurate to the huge funds they generate and are allocated to them by the Federal government. If the governors of Lagos and Akwa Ibom utilize their money like Peter Obi did with that of Anambra, Lagos and Akwa Ibom would be like Dubai.

Mind you, before Peter Obi came to Anambra, Anambra was in a mess just like Imo State is today after Rochas government.

Mbadinuju owned workers for more that a year. No infrastructures, no roads, nothing to write home about. Peter Obi restored live in Anambra in a short time. While Fashola and Akpabio did not meet such mess in their States.

I am not mentioning Chime of Enugu and Amechi of Rivers because they don't have anything to be compared with Peter Obi.

How are we sure that Osinbajo is OK.
