Ok why are northerners and many others are afraid of Obi. An average northerner can't dream of Igbo president just because of the fear of Biafra. When any region from Nigeria talks about separating from Nigeria, Igbos always support them. Like the case of Igboho. All Igbos were supporting and cheering him up. But when it comes to Biafra, every section of the country fights and speaks against it. At least, you guys should show some support and encourage the Ibos to have a successful republic rather than attacking anything Biafra unless there is something else I am not undersatanding.

Pls I want to know the true reasons. Igbo land is not a major oil producing state. But yet, people fear the word Biafra. Even as Peter Obi is out for presidency, many are campaining against his with Biafra. They fear that he may bring Biafra.

My question is why are Igbos so important that most Nigerians can't imagine a Nigeria without them. Sincere reasons please.

It is a simple stuff. Support your candidate and leave other people alone. If you hate Obi for whatever your reasons are, why not ignore him and focus and campaign for the person you support rather than poke nosing on anything that concerns a structureless party as you people call it. This election is between Tinubu and Atiku who have structures. So why do you have sleepless nights on Obi matter.

We know that northern muslims would never ever vote an Igbo man. It is only we foolish Igbos that would always like to vote for northern muslims. If they are sincere it means they actually want change. I am Igbo. The people that can help break Nigeria are the Yorubas and Igbos in the army and in the government. The poor and powerless masses can not fight the fight alone. Biafra in the past was able to pull out from Nigeria in the 1960s because the Igbos in the army were in support of Biafra. Until the army and top government officials start supporting the division of this country, it would be imposible for the ordinary people like us to divide it. 3 Muslims versus 1 Christian. The Nigerian Muslims(especially the northern Muslims) will never vote for Peter Obi. If all Christians in Nigeria vote for Obi, while the Muslims divide their votes into 3 for Tinubu, Atiku and Kwankwaso, how would Obi lose. This election is more like a religions war than a tribal war. How can a whole vice president be defeated by a former governor in primaries. Not a current governor but a governor that ruled many years ago. What a shame.
