I thought I was the only one in this mess. I did not know my wifes salary for the 8 years she worked but she know mine until we divorced. The reason is that if you know her salary she feels you may not give her enough money anymore.

Ok bro, I spent btw100k-150k to register d new business cant really remember, I had like 4m plus in my acct, and I applied with my family of 4 including my wife and 2 kids. submitted only personal acct, but also submitted a fixed deposit statement for d company. I also included deed of assignments from landed properties(photocopies only). and a company letterhead detailing your full itinerary is very important cos I noticed it was the only document not returned. Also total budget for 2weeks visit is 8k pounds.....2.5k for tickets, 2.5k for vacation home/hotel for 2 weeks and 3k for shopping and miscellaneous. Also my kids birth certs and our wedding cert. then my wifes business cert ONLY..lol...so notice that I submitted ONLY 1 statement of acct which was my personal and not my company acct.....BUT I think my own case was easier cos I have gone to uk without issues twice and I also have a valid yankee visa(all of us) expiring august 2016. So maybe that's why it was faster and easier...

Just got our passports today and was issued visa. Would have made a silly mistake if I submitted my newly registered company without backing it up with my old business documents. Anyways, all glory to God and all thanks to FPL and Justwise...God bless you both!.

NB: Submitted in VI on the 14th of oct and it was issued on the 21st of oct. also my last visa was issued in Abuja, this one says SHEFO...lol

Lastly, FPL...I told you I did not sign the application forms I printed out and you said they might reject it, Well it was overlooked I guess!

That should have been spotted at visa centre before they collected it from you, if they have problem with it you will be contacted.

Thanks bro!...Yes, I think they noticed it while I was submitting, because the lady checked it well before she requested for my passport photo.
Anyways, I hope it doesnt affect my application. Will keep you updated.

Pls I just submitted my application, But I just noticed I did not sign in the required field on the application I printed out, and it was accepted like that, I hope this wont affect my application? chai!

I asked these questions because it will be very difficult to get a visa with a newly registered company knowing fully well that anybody can go to CAC and get one.

Yes its still very much in operation and also YES am still listed as a director. But when I filled my application, I used my new business because I have company bank account statement for the new company and all other necessary documents.

It is not enough reason to just register a business simply because you want to to travel. It will be very difficult to get a visa if your company is barely one year and does not show significant records/transactions.

But the business is still under the same category, just like a new branch of my former business, but now I am the rightful owner of this new company. So pls what do I need to include from my previous business?
