Politics › Buhari Identifies 3 Types Of Boko Haram, Says 2015 Will Be Bloody If … by ImadeUReadThis(op): 12:35pm On Nov 24, 2018 |
KADUNA– Presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, in the 2011 election, General Mohammadu Buhari, rtd, yesterday identified three types of Boko Haram in the country with the Federal Government topping the list, followed by those he described as criminals who steal and kill Nigerians in the name of religion, with the third group as the original one led by late Muhammed Yusufu. Buhari spoke in Hausa while addressing members of the CPC from Niger State, who paid him a courtesy visit in Kaduna. He also warned that 2015 would be bloody if the elections were not transparent, just as he dismissed reports that he would not contest the 2015 presidency. Buhari who painted a gory picture of Nigeria as that of a hound and a monkey engaged in a battle for survival said, “God willing, by 2015, something will happen. They either conduct a free and fair election or they go a very disgraceful way. “If what happened in 2011 (alleged rigging) should again happen in 2015, by the grace of God, the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood.’’ He did not elaborate further. On alleged existence of three groups of Boko Haram, General Buhari added, “I will like to quote Professor Ango Abdullahi that said there are three Boko Harams including the original one led by Muhammed Yusufu who was killed and his supporters tried to take revenge by attacking the law enforcement agencies and politicians. There is another developed Boko Haram of criminals who steal and kill… while the biggest Boko Haram is the Federal Government.” He, however, said that he would make up his mind on the presidency when his party re-organises itself. “That was what I told those who have visited me in the past but the press wrote that I said I have changed my mind about re-contesting. On Boko Haram he said: “Since the leaders now don’t listen to anybody but do whatever they wish, there is nothing the North can do.” FG has destroyed oil industry Commenting on the petroleum subsidy probe, he said: “The current leadership of the country has destroyed the petroleum industry. These kind of things can only happen under the type of leadership Nigeria has. No where in the world can such things happen and no where in the world can government increase the cost of petroleum products by over 120%. It is most insensitive. Besides the air people breath, the next important thing to them are petroleum products, “Unfortunately for me, I know more about petroleum industry than others in government because I was there for over three years as a leader. We started with the Port-Harcourt Refinery producing 60,000 barrels per day. It was upgraded to 100,000 barrels per day. Another one was built there (Port-Harcourt) producing over 150,000 barrels making a total of 250,000 barrels per day purely on Nigerian crude.’’ According to him, the Warri and Kaduna refineries, had capacities for refining 100, 000 barrels daily each with over 20 depots and more than 3,200 pipe lines. https://omojuwa.com/2012/05/buhari-identifies-3-types-of-boko-haram-says-2015-will-be-bloody-if/ |

They have been voting and will continue to vote and from there unleash terror if their preferred candidate loses out.

eggheaders: Just outside President Goodluck Jonathan's office sat 17 ambulances, just in case he or one of his aides fell ill. They were seldom if ever used. No actual health care facility nationwide had as many, and in fact a few still have none at all. But as soon as a Nigerian newspaper took a photo of the ambulances and published a story about them, they suddenly disappeared ― probably to an underground garage. Jonathan is president of Nigeria, which should be among the world's most prosperous nations. After all, it produces an estimated 2.4 million barrels of oil each and every day. With oil now selling at $93.61 a barrel, that’s $224 million in income daily. And yet many hospitals can't afford to buy an ambulance. The reason, in my view: Nigeria is the most corrupt nation on earth. Sure, Transparency International lists almost three dozen states as more corrupt ― Chad, Haiti, Laos, Yemen, Cambodia and the like. But are any of those nations as wealthy as Nigeria ― taking in $81 billion annually, just from the sale of oil? No, not even one of them. So Nigeria steals and squanders more money than any other nation, making it the world's most corrupt, by that measure. Nigerian journalist Musikilu Mojeed finds all this so discouraging. "With its geopolitical power, economic resources and middle class," he laments, "no country (with the possible exception of Saudi Arabia and Egypt) has the power to change the course of black/African civilization like Nigeria." After all, Nigeria is Africa's most populous state ― and large, twice the size of California. So Nigerians are living an opportunity squandered ― particularly now. Egypt is in turmoil. In just the last few days, in fact, many Egyptians have been calling for a military coup ― anything to rid the state of its widely despised Muslim Brotherhood government. And a new report by the World Economic Forum ranked Egypt the least safe and secure tourist destination among 140 tourist nations evaluated. Egypt has lost its place as the Arab/African worlds' leader, and Saudi Arabia never had it. So for Nigeria, the time is ripe. But its leaders seem interested only in stealing the state's money to make themselves rich beyond imaging. Think about it: $81 billion a year just from the oil, while most every local government official still tells his people the nation just doesn’t have enough money to fix the roads, schools or hospitals. (Roads are in such terrible shape that government officials generally travel any distance by helicopter.) And Nigeria's people ― well, they are as mistreated as any on earth. In only nine nations ― among them Liberia, Sierra Leone and Somalia ― do more mothers die during childbirth. And in only 10 states, including Chad, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe, is the average life expectancy lower. Right now the average Nigerian's average life span ends at 52. That may be why the median age of Nigerians is just 18. A few months ago, the Economist Intelligence Unit published an evaluation of the best places for babies to born in 2013, given their probable welfare as children and the chance for a safe, comfortable, prosperous life. Switzerland, Australia and Norway were the top three. The United States came in at 16th, largely because "babies will inherit the large debts of the boomer generation." Dead last: Nigeria. "It is the worst place for a baby to enter the world in 2013," the report said. Even with all that wealth, only just over half the population has access to clean drinking water, and one-third to a toilet, UNICEF says. Two-thirds live below the poverty line. Only one child in four who contracts pneumonia is given antibiotics, and only about half the population is literate. The CIA also cites endemic "soil degradation; rapid deforestation; urban air and water pollution." All this in a county whose gross domestic product stands at $236 billion a year, in the same league as Denmark, Chile, Israel and the United Arab Emirates ― prosperous, successful states to be envied. Goodluck Jonathan is certainly aware of all of this. After all, taking the oath of office, he swore to "devote myself to the service and well-being of the people of Nigeria. So help me God." Well, just last week he demonstrated who he really is and what he stands for when he pardoned a former state governor who'd been convicted of embezzling state funds and laundering the money. That pardon triggered a broad, angry uproar. Good luck, Mr. Jonathan. It's time you were impeached. [s] pendy79: It was recorded and covered by the Press that GEJ was in Chad to meet with President Idris Deby of Chad twice last year.
The second visit was not well reported and the media team of the presidency have not told Nigerians why the President had to schedule another meeting in Chad witj Idris Deby after the one that had Alimodu Sheriff in attendance.
Recent events have now clarify the reason for the second visit to Chad by GEJ, he went to seek Deby's help to help scuttle the Election in February on the altar of renewed offensive on Boko Haram. Chad waited till 3weeks to our election to launch territorial invasion of Nigerian Territory to fight Boko Haram after watching for 6years as Boko Haram plumage and scorched the earth in the North East of Nigeria
Deby is close to Alimodu Sheriff and they are business allies, sheriff is the linksman for GEJ with Idris Deby hence his attendance at the first meeting.
The public outcry after the first visit necessitated GEJ visiting Deby alone to sign an agreement allowing Chad to enter Nigerian Territory in the name of fighting BH and our Military play the blind amd mute syndrome.
Territories captured by Chad from BH will be under Chadian control amd influence while GEJ will use the excuse of new counter-insurgency push to achieve his aim of avoiding election, the plan is to push the election for 6months in the first instance but tambuwal's defection to the APC ended that plot hence their resort to use the police to edge him out but that failed too.
GEJ is sacrificing the North East for his continuous stay in power, and Chad is achieving his goal of getting full control of the Chad Basin and its mineral content, a goal planned and hatched by former Chadian president Habre whose army launched incursions into same places they are controlling today but Buhari pursued them in 1982.
The bakassi episode is being played here when Gowon gave control of the peninsula to Cameroon to block the passage of arms to the Biafran Army now GEJ is toiling same path of giving territories of Nigeria to a foreign country so as to achieve his selfish, personal and crude interest.
Chad will not leave territories it lost its soldiers to capture without reasoning and a negotiated agreement in the first place.
GEJ signed out the Chad Basin to Deby to facilitate this but Nigerians are wiser and we are watching. [/s] Now that Buhari has sent his Minister of Defense to Chad nko? |

[s] seunmsg: The above is absolutely false. Danjuma opted for Yar'adua because he felt Buhari was a fine soldier and had a very bright future in the military and there was no need cutting it short with a political appointment. Yar'adua on the other hand was already a political soldier. He was more interested in politics than military due to his family background and it was obvious to all high ranking officers then that he can't last in the military. [/s] The high point of the career of a Nigerian Military officer was to have a political appointment. If Buhari was not a political soldeir then how come he transformed himself to a Military head of state? There is no living or dead Nigerian military officer who is more political than Buhari. Same Buhari that has contested elections on four occasions, floated single handeldy a political party (CPC)? Travel › Re: This Is The Major Reason Why Pilots Dump Fuel Before Landing. (PHOTOS) by ImadeUReadThis: 10:30am On Nov 16, 2018 |
[s] TechCapon: TechCapon
https://i2.wp.com/techcapon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Contrail-March-31-2016-CROP.jpg?w=864&ssl=1
Have you ever looked up and saw an aircraft flying with long white lines like gas behind it ? I’ve seen it many times and what the aeroplane is doing is called fuel dumping. Now you’ll be wondering why pilots will dump fuel considering the fact that aviation fuel is very expensive and also causes serious pollution to the environment. In this post techcapon be explaining to you why it is necessary for the pilots to dump fuel sometimes.
https://i0.wp.com/techcapon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/19190-f36550a25c58e47420b01b05a2cfb2e0.jpg?resize=768%2C432&ssl=1
Now this also includes our local airlines in Nigeria like DANA, AERO etc. Although fuel dumping is more common with airlines that travel long distances and make international flights. Before take-off, the airline do the maths. They calculate how much fuel is needed to the aircraft to complete their journey and they fill the aircraft tanks with enough fuel to make the complete their journey. There are some terms I’ll like to explain in this post for you to understand how it works.
Dry operating weight: This is the weight of the plane without fuel, passengers or luggage.
Payload: This is the weight of the passengers and their luggage
Zero fuel weight: This is the weight of the fuel needed to reach their final destination including reserve.
Dry operating weight + Payload + Zero fuel load = Take-off weight
Take-off weight MUST always be greater than landing weight
https://i1.wp.com/techcapon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/british-airways-landing-HEATHROW1016.jpg?resize=768%2C480&ssl=1
The major reason why pilots dump fuel is because the landing weight of the plane exceeds the maximum. Inside the cockpit, pilots have a meter that tells them the weight of the aircraft at all times. For example, Boeing 747 aircrafts have a maximum landing weight of 312000kg.
Anything above that weight will cause the aircraft to suffer serious damage during landing or even crash during landing. Infact, if the maximum take-off weight is above 312000kg, the cockpit will blink red lights and give the pilots warning. The question on your mind right now will be, if the airline calculates how much fuel is needed to arrive their destination, why dump fuel before arriving ? The answer is simple. [/s] This is probably the most bullsh!t nonsense I have read on NL. The picture is of condensation trails and not fuel dumping. |
