If your religion has somehow deleted your culture, if a foreign religion has infused it's practices into you such that you do not even remember your tribe or are quite confused about your identity, I can only feel sorry, very sorry, for you.

There is nothing God does without involving men of God, that is pastors or prophets. Prophets are the mouthpiece of God both in the olden testament and the new testament. Whatever he want to do he speaks through the prophets to his people and he never for once come down to speak to them by himself.
When God wanted to bring out Israelites from Egypt, it was through a prophet and their preservation was also through the same prophet. Read below:

Hosea 12:13
"And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved"

When God chose Moses to led the Israelites out of Egypt, he chose Aaron to be his mouthpiece and a prophet to them and he commanded that he speaks everything he tells him and also command the freedom of his people. Read:

Exodus 7: "Then the LORD said to Moses, "See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet. You are to say everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his country"

Any prophet that see the truth but refused to say the truth is not a prophet but satan agent. If they have speaking out the truth for long, probably the mess we find ourselves today, we might not be in it. Some of you doesn't like people questioning the audacity of our leaders for the reason best known to you people but we cannot continue that way.

Long grammar:
A President is a title. A character or person bears that title.. so people had different names they had to refer to the Creator they believed in. For example, my granddad worshiped Chukwu. He completely rejected Christianity and its God Yahweh.
We have a President. Other foreigners around the world may refer to their number one man as President. It doesn't make the President of the US or Ukraine my president.
