It's on this foundation that Nigeria has built for decades and it's near impossible to constitutionally change it now because nobody in government really wants such change. If they want it, they can start the process in the Senate. The Senate is the one that can attempt constitutional review, not agitators. Lobby enough politicians to your cause instead of destroying yourself and boasting to no use or wallowing in self pity and 'victimosity'.
However, i can tell you for free that aside from lip service to give a dog a bone, none of our governors, senators, powerful politicians and very rich men (not unenlightened shop owners o) want a break up. It'll affect them negatively.

This is an open secret. No serious person from the South East wants to be left with a country comprising of just Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi and Imo. But we are all aware of the over report over 2 million internally displaced in Nigeria. Majority of theses IDPs are muslims. i don't know the outcry you refer to. The whole country was well aware of the brutal attacks on places like Baga, Bama, Gwoza, and the emptying of Damasak, Banki, Gamboru Ngala, Monguno, Mafa, Dikwa and other Borno/Lake-Chad towns by BH and co. Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, Kebbi have seen towns and villages raided, burned or abandoned. Are these all cases that did not truly happen? These are all Nigerian citizens like i say, whatever religion they profess. These criminals don't mostly care. We are talking of people who allegedly value cow life more than theirs, not to mention other people. This we have known and said for decades. The sudden couple of days surge by mainly ipob sympathizers and the West makes it very suspect and the angle skewed. Like i continue to insist, there is no denying of the deaths and insecurity. The issue i have maintained remains same, it is not a christian thing but a national thing.
