This is because you don't know similar laws are in place in the Western world where all this churches have branches and are complying 100%. No one will or can fight the church because the church is you as a believer. You're simplying mixing church & religious organisation that Christ himself fought together.

The church as Christ described it, is where two or more people are gathered in his name. In that case, they can't be regulated by anybody non fight against, just as it were with the disciples of Christ. But where you see religious organisations that where first registered to operate in the first place as an association. There will always be room for regulation.

He won't know they are just religious organisation clearly different from what Christ called church after his personality. I got into a business deal with a certain man of god a popular one at that in my State, there was need for all the directors to witness the deal, that was when oga said he can act fully for them, but we insisted then he said, It is just him & his wife, kids, lol. The church is still in existence with members while the members act & speak confidently like the guy above that it is their church, pastor & family are maximizing on the ignorance.

In sane societies like USA, South Africa, UK, Europe, Australia etc, there are agencies that regulate religious organisations, CSOs and NGOs. Why should Nigeria's be different?

If the Bible is right, the Church is the congregation of believers. It is not a building or religious organisation. And believers don't need any formal nomenclature or organisation to worship. The Bible says where two or three are gathered, CHRIST is present. The Bible never said people should establish organisations, neither did the early Christians establish organisations.

Now let's look this....

A man wakes up on a faithful morning, he approaches CAC (Government) to register his organisation, which he names XYZ Church

He lists himself, his wife, Kids or associates as Trustees

He gets certificate from the government to operate...

Yet, he argues with the government that they have no right to regulate the activities of the same organisation that he went to government to register.

He shouts persecution, war against the church and God.

Meanwhile, he is the final authority and CEO in the religious organisation, and won't hesitate to show the exit door to anyone that questions his authority.

The irony is that he abides to similar laws abroad...

FACT:

FG or any other government cannot regulate the "Church" (congregation of believers). Even the Roman government couldn't regulate the Church.

However, government can only regulate religious organisations (formal organizations) that are registered with the government in line with the constitutional mandate.

The rule is simple, don't register your organisation with government if you don't want to be regulated... Same way you don't register your business and NGO with government if you don't want their regulation...

Too much sense, haven't seen too much of it in one mentioned in a while now. I wasn't surprised either when I checked the name! Well, as sensible & biblical your point is, those church goers won't accept not because they love God, but because their pastors make them believe otherwise, and the pastor is simply doing so because he himself needs people to fund his greed. Flexherbal you need to see this.

This is one way through which strange practices could be imported into the body of Christ. A canal mind cannot understand the things of the spirit. The Christian body needs to write the presidency as well as the law makers.

If the christian body were able to purge herself, it wouldn't have gotten to this level. By the way, the law was a general one for all associations, I wonder why the christian bodies are taking it so personal. Even most of the G.O's are fighting because of money & power and not because they really loved God. Christ died for humanity & not Christian's alone. Thus whenever you do an act of love towards another you're already doing the will of God.

Must they always show to the world that the country is without a system?! Since it has become a rocket science to have a workable country, at least the only honourable thing left is to provide easy access to traveling documents for those who have fled or willing to flee.
