That should be more appropriate, using two of my cousins as a case study.
* John moved out base on popular demand without any suitable means. He spent few months & returned. It was even friends & family assist that prolonged the returned a little. And of course, keeping him afloat will mean directly encouraging certain lifestyle which is always the hiden truth of move out early advocates.

* Peter is still in his parent's house. Yet built his house "3 flats" & put it on lease, has a car and worked with FG.

Note: Happiness, comfort & certain choices are very personal. No one should create any standard on that. And families don't operate same, many have the means but don't see the need. Funny enough, most that see the need don't always have the means. So it is clear wisdom, instead let the temporary discomfort be the push for financial freedom because the whole story ends on the alter of finance. A lot of youths who are a product of a disorganized country would certainly be reading & this thread might increase their already depressed situation, not knowing most comments are social media life.

I pray we all have the ability & see more opportunities to create enough wealth to sustain the choice of life we wish for.

Like I said in that other thread, the discussion of when to leave without a pressing need to do so is a lower income/poor man question.

If your parents can comfortably house you with a bit of privacy, stay put and leverage on their housing as much as possible to build wealth.

Some people have saved their rents while at home and moved from their parents' home to their own home.

Only ensure that while at your parents', you pick some bills as a sign of maturity and responsibility:

I am sure that when you get to a certain age, your parents will acknowledge you have relationships and give you the needed space if you are not changing partners like underwears.

No sensible parent would stop a young man/lady of 24/25 years from a weekend getaway at a lover's place or hotel if you have established the relationship at home and you have proven to be responsible especially sexually.

Neither would they stop you for a late night hang out once in a while with friends.

Obviously coming back home drunk the first time might tell them you are not mature enough to handle such privileges going forward.

Agreed at bolded, most times it is always about making fun of it personally, keeping the records to remind one & even the child later of the process. I have couple of my kids fun mode, a special one was when one danced so well along a music, he was just few months old trying to learn how to walk. Holding onto objects yet was dancing. But I don't fancy sharing family tiles on social media other than business. Still don't share such files with friends except a watch on my phone. Because most times, several have been mis-represented and brought shame instead.

There's life outside social media. Stop taking videos of your family moments and posting, people will enjoy it but the child might grow up to dislike that.
Even plenty American superstars that we're copying don't let the world know their children till they reach their ages of consent.

Nigeria is the only country that copy correction & still make mistakes.

In taxes, the north is not ahead. In terms of economy generally, north is not ahead; more than 60 percent of telecon revenues are from Lagos, more than 60 percent of energy revenues are from Lagos, etc. The South generally contributes more in education, etc. But when it comes to population figures, number of votes, quotas in the unitary police, army, navy, air force, etc, political representation and holding political offices, the north is far ahead of others. I can't see Nigeria making progress with our kind of structure, constitution and practices. Unless we change things or restructure, the future is bleak

Even as a Southerner, I don't see how presidency will easily come to the south. The North is always ahead in Nigeria political games, especially when the south has decided to delebrately act unwise politically.
