PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 7:26pm On Jun 14, 2021
Nwokem there's nothing wrong if you go to Abia thread and build it. Discuss issues that are stunting the development of the state. I heard the governor Okezie hasn't paid some workers for months, he has been building one FLYOVER for 6yrs, too many bad roads across the state, these are subjects for discussion

eduj:
I have been on this thread long before you, and even many peeps that have contributed immensely on the Anambra thread also contribute in the Abia state thread or any other SE thread.
The fact you dont know that is worrisome.
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 7:23pm On Jun 14, 2021
eduj:
Besides if ouk and Ta had done well we wouldn't be getting this insults
cheesy
NwaforIgbo, read this post from your brother. You all contributed to why Abia is a backward jungle, because most of you spend so much time on issues that doesn't concern your state, this made people like OUK, Ikuku and TA Orji to have unfettered access to the ruining of Abia state
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 7:19pm On Jun 14, 2021
eduj:
This thread is for Anambra (I won't engage on a mudslinging contest with you on this thread), I will post a link to the full video on the Abia state thread
Why not take the link and paste in Abia state thread, why are you Abia miscreants camping here?
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments:
Now you have accepted that both states are not mates in development. Abia is still at kindergarten compare to Anambra that's already in tertiary level. Now you bringing Lagos, Rivers, etc, Abia and Anambra were created the same year, don't forget that hahahaha

NwaforIgbo:
ANAMBRA SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO MORE. ITS MATE, LAGOS, KANO, PORT HARCOURT, are doing more than this. It should do more and stop dragging plate with Abia
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 7:15pm On Jun 14, 2021
Lol see defence of illiterate village nwa Aba. Okezie has been building nonsense FLYOVER for over 5yrs but his mates in Anambra and Ebonyi has built 3, 4 and counting. Abia state is cursed, that's the simple explanation cheesy

[s]
NwaforIgbo:
his bridge will be dwarfed by the Flyover Ikpeazu is yet to commissionThia bridge is only celebrated by village champions

PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 7:02pm On Jun 14, 2021

how.
Abia state is a complete timid rural area compare to Anambra. Bring pictures lets compare. cheesy

PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 7:00pm On Jun 14, 2021
NwaforIgbo:
show.
Abia was created the same year with Anambra, but look at what Anambra has achieved with the same allocation you have in that shithole. Even small Ebonyi is doing it too. Abia state is cursed, it's not an insult but a fact

PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 6:58pm On Jun 14, 2021
NwaforIgbo:
to show.
Anambra has had FLYOVERS more 30yrs ago, but your backward shithole Abia state is yet to complete in 2021.

PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 6:55pm On Jun 14, 2021
Lol do you actually want us to do this debate? You posted a road but at the same time saying that though Anambra has better road than Abia state.

The truth is that Abia state doesn't even have good roads, not talk of gutter.

Please show us anywhere in your backward shithole Abia state where you can find any road as this? Anambra is not una shithole Abia mate. Inugo

[s]
NwaforIgbo:
Aba-Owerri Road in Aba has trees planted by the median, its marked, its drainage is underground unlike the open gutters littered all over anambra. Am not saying Aba is better than Anambra in terms of road. But I'm saying can u guys just grow up and do the right thing? U make the loudest noise yet there's nothing like to show.

PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 6:09pm On Jun 14, 2021

PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 6:07pm On Jun 14, 2021
But you have none to show in Abia state. This is what I have been talking about, you lots spend so much time over issues that's not yours while your Abia state is getting worse by the day

NwaforIgbo:
Look at the pics u are still using to make a statement after how many years
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 6:05pm On Jun 14, 2021
Anambra and your Abia state are never on the same level. Anambra is getting it right at least by 75% which is a pass mark, but in the case of Abia state it is 5% which is a fail.

Spend more time in discussing Abia state issues instead of wasting your time over a progressive Anambra.

Abia is the worst and most backward state in Nigeria, start doing something to change that ugly ranking.

NwaforIgbo:
The same problem that made Abia remains like that is the smae thing u and ur mediocre fellow is doing. We are discussing about how anambra is not getting some things right and u rushed to drag Abia? So anambra and Abia now are on the same par? The fact that u didn't mention Lagos explains a lot that u know ur equal.
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 5:43pm On Jun 14, 2021
At least Anambra was created the same year as Abia state, but today Abia is still like it was 30yrs ago. OUK wasted 8yrs, TA Orji wasted another 8yrs. This present governor hasn't achieved anything except propaganda here and there. Even Ebonyi yesterday has since overtaken Abia state.

Another reason your Abia state will remain backward is because you guys glorifies failures, TA Orji has been in the Senate for 2 terms, OUK has joined him too. You guys have allowed failures to succeed in your state without raising a finger. This is what you cannot find in Anambra or even in any other SE state. Shameful

NwaforIgbo:
'm asking that because I'm wondering why Anambra will be comparing itself with Abia in terms of development.
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 5:34pm On Jun 14, 2021
Dumbo, did you actually read my post? I said that despite the challenges in Nigeria, that there are states that are faring well which Anambra is one of them, but in the case of ABIA state it is zero. Abia state is easily the worst and most backward state in Nigeria. You should be worried. Inugo

NwaforIgbo:
So u agree that Anambra is not doing the right thing right?
Watch your governor cheesy

A whole governor is celebrating chicken republic after 6yrs in office and Abia indigenes are not worried. That's to tell you how that state has sunk into the pit. This is the governor of miscreants that will always come here to tell us about development. Ndi ala

PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 5:25pm On Jun 14, 2021
In the midst of all the problems in Nigeria, there are still states that are faring well in all indices of development, Abia appears to be the worst and most backward state in Nigeria. That should be a cause for concern in Abia state, but you all including Nnamdi kanu doesn't care. This is why it is easy for TA Orji to remain the god father of Abia state till date, and you wonder why the state is stagnant cheesy

NwaforIgbo:
That is why I said mediocrity has eaten u guys up..Which state is faring well? And on what basis are they faring well?
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 5:19pm On Jun 14, 2021
NwaforIgbo:
Ikpeazu is not living up to expections.Thats a known fact
That's why you should spend at least 99% of your time crying over the incompetence of Okezie and backwardness of Abia state, but instead you always play around as if all is well. Listen again to your village local champion governor cheesy

Nwokem mechionu. You don't need to advice SE, take the advice to your own state because charity begins at home.

Abia is the worst state in igbo land and Nigeria at large, so all your advice should be for your useless worthless backward shithole Abia state, because other states in igbo land are faring well.

[s]
NwaforIgbo:
I'm not ashamed... I'm happy. That's why I am advising that all SE govs take a cue from Umahi and do the right job. But unfortunately, people like u who go about praising their mediocre jobs is one of the reason they will never do the right thing.

It concerns me because there's an Igbo saying that says "Aga hapu Nwanne ya" fee Anambra people have been cheated

You Abia people shouldn't be talking in public because it appears Abia state is cursed as it has refused to move forward.

Since 1999, Abia has remained the same as the worst state in Nigeria, but you bingos are never concerned.

Obiano is doing/done, international conference centre, international airport, bridges, FLYOVERS, roads, schools, hospitals, mall, 5- star hotel, etc. So is Ebonyi and others, but Abia is zero

Listen to the accomplishments of your fat useless gorilla governor ikpeazu cheesy

Obiano is equally the best in infrastructures in igbo land and Anambra is equally the best state in igbo land. I know that has been the deep seated envy in you and your likes. Ndo ooh

Aren't you ashamed that Ebonyi that was created yesterday has over taken your backward dilapidated filthy shithole Abia. You should be hiding somewhere because of the terrible condition of your Abia state cheesy

On 7 April 2021, the Abia State 30-Year Long Term Development Plan (2020-2050) developed by PIND Foundation with support from the Abia State Government was launched by the Deputy Governor of Abia State at the Abia State Government House in Umuahia, Abia State with representatives of PIND Foundation and State Government officials present.

PIND’s support to the Abia State Government in the development of the 30-Year Long Term Development Plan is a precursor to the State team’s victory as the Eastern zone winner of the region-wide development planning competition organized by PIND Foundation – PIND, The European Niger Delta Support Program – NDSP & Market Development in the Niger Delta – MADE at the Niger Delta Development Forum (NDDF) 2018.

Since then, PIND Foundation has worked with the State to ensure that the development of the 30-year plan involves every arm of the Abia State government and reflects the thoughts and interests of the Abia people as regards the future of their State.

The plan which is a product of series of multi-stakeholder engagements is made up of 7 sections, 15 chapters, 11 Pillars and four cross-cutting themes built on the pillars of: Agriculture, Industry, Trade and Investment, Oil and Gas, Health, Education, Social Protection, Governance and Public Service Reforms, Infrastructure, Environment and Regional Planning and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) as it advocates for:

Adopting a Demand-Led Model in Youth Employment programs in Abia State
Facilitating Access to Agricultural Land for Farmers in Abia
Establishing Peacebuilding Infrastructure in Abia State
Addressing Multiple Taxation and Illegal
As a pilot, PIND developed a 30-Year Growth and Development Strategy (GDS), a long-term development plan for the Cross Rivers State Government in 2019, which was launched as part of the activities of the Cross River International Collaboration & Investors Summit 2019.

Troops not on vengeance mission in Abia – Army
By Odita Sunday, Abuja
14 June 2021 | 10:07 am
The Nigerian Army’s high command has dispelled speculations that the army was on a revenge mission following the alleged killing of a soldier.

Army spokesman, Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima, who dispelled the rumour also, noted that no soldier was killed.

Yerima said the “attention of the Nigerian Army was drawn to a story making rounds in the social media that troops are on vengeance mission in some communities in Abia State following the death of six soldiers in a clash with ESN/IPOB terrorists.

“The story further alleged that as a result, residents of Elu, Amangwu and Amaekpu in Ohafia Local Government Area have embarked on mass exodus out of fear,” Yerima said.

“The army wishes to debunk the allegation as baseless fabrication aimed at not only tarnishing the good image of the NA but to create distrust between the public and security agents in the state.

“The true position is that troops carried out routine clearance operations in line with the rules of engagement and respect for fundamental human rights of the citizens aimed at restoring socio-economic activities which were hitherto disrupted by criminal activities of IPOB/ESN elements who attack security agents and government infrastructures.

“Troops of the Nigerian Army working in conjunction with personnel of Nigeria Police and other security agencies leveraging on timely and accurate intelligence provided by patriotic citizens, are working tirelessly to restore normalcy to troubled areas and to rid the state of criminal elements.

“Consequently, we wish to reassure the good people of Abia State of the safety of their lives and property and also urge them to continue to report suspicious movements and activities of strange individuals or groups in their vicinity to the nearest security agency for prompt action.”

The Nigeria police launched an operation in southeast Nigeria around May 2021 to put a stop to rising violence and crime there, including a spate of attacks on police, military checkpoints, which have triggered fears of a return to war and state-sanctioned violence.

Armed gangs, popularly called ‘unknown gunmen’ have carried out a series of killings of police officers in the region in recent months and mounted a jailbreak of more than 1,800 prisoners in the city of Owerri in April.

Nigerian authorities blame a proscribed separatist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and what police call the group’s armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN) for the attacks on government facilities and security personnel.
